Overall a great place for a large group of people. Some of the furniture in the home was broken but we worked around it. Great kitchen space and overall well stocked. Loved the pool and Cabana area for ping pong!

Fun week with family
A big catch is a great house and very accommodating.
Unfortunately, we had a couple of big problems. The grills were barely usable. We called about them and somebody showed up but the problem really was not resolved. Another rep showed up Friday afternoon telling us we’d be getting new grills. It was too late because we were leaving Saturday. In any case, we never got the new grills.
In the middle of the week, the pool heater went off. In the past, Wednesday was the regular maintenance day. This time they showed up on Thursday and said the heater needed water so it turned itself off. Wednesday was the warmest day and we didn’t use the pool since the heater went off. $600 to heat the pool- We had no way to know why the heater went off!
Since we enjoyed our time anyway, we did resign for next year. Hopefully we won’t have these issues.

Per our listings, it only raise temperature 10° above the consistent ambient temperature (60° and higher) and the weather was fairly mild that week. Although the delivery was delayed, we are happy to report that the new grills have been installed and are raring to go. We hope we will have a change to wow you during your next visit!

Great Family Memories
Home was everything we could have hoped for and even more. It was a little difficult getting back from the beach for some of our older guests and there was no propane in gas grill tanks. Otherwise it was a very positive experience.

we had a marvelous visit to the OBX with several couples. The house was clean and spacious and well laid out regarding bedrooms. There were 20 of us and there was still room to go hide if you needed to! I would recommend this home to any large party wanting a nice house with a good location.

We loved the house. It was spacious and clean, kitchen was stocked well. Loved the ice machine. Great location and beach was wonderful. Only problem we encountered was the stoves broil functions did not work. the ovens themselves were not super functioning.

Great week on the beach in OBX!
We had a great stay at A Big Catch! The location was perfect, so many shops and great food nearby (walking distance), Jack’s Burgers is a MUST HAVE. This home was spacious, beds were comfortable, pool was a good size, and the pool house was an added bonus as it was not featured or listed as a benefit/feature of the home. We especially loved the rooftop area over the pool house for hanging out at night. Beach area was clean. We loved the nugget that was available for the kids too, and the rollaway cots!

The house we stayed in was AMAZING! It was the perfect space for our family. The house was very clean and well maintained.
I was disappointed about a few things: (1) every time I attempted to contact property management company, I was unable to get a response. I tried via email, text, calling and nothing in response. This was disappointing because I was able to get my questions about the property answered. (2) The wifi was very spotty and did not work well. We were unable to get it to work in most areas of the house. (3) The curtains on the sliding glass doors in the bedroom were shear which limited privacy and allowed the strong morning sun to come in and wake us up.

A Big Catch was very accommodating for the number of people we had for the week. Check in was very easy. The location was great! The beach access also nice. The house was decorated really nice too!
There is more than one coffee pot at the location as it wasn’t clear in the amenities listed. The kitchen is stocked well. The pool area itself could use some
TLC. Maybe paint the fence and scrape the moss from the skirt drain. Otherwise the pool was nice as was the hot tub.
One negative was the outside kitchen/game room was under construction and nit available for use. This would have been fun for the 10 kids we had with us.
All in all this house suited us quite well.
There is more than one coffee pot at the location as it wasn’t clear in the amenities listed. The kitchen is stocked well. The pool area itself could use some
TLC. Maybe paint the fence and scrape the moss from the skirt drain. Otherwise the pool was nice as was the hot tub.
One negative was the outside kitchen/game room was under construction and nit available for use. This would have been fun for the 10 kids we had with us.
All in all this house suited us quite well.

Great Place to Stay
The house is very roomy and in a very convenient location. Close to stores, restaurants and right on the beach. There is a fairly steep dune to get down and back from the beach which might not be ideal for those having difficulty walking. Loved the separate bathrooms in each bedroom. Also liked the multiple refrigerators and dishwashers, and the ice machine was awesome.

Sun deck is amazing, lots of space in the house, great spot!
