Love the location, Love the house but needs a little work, the main kitchen island had no electrical power, the dining room ceiling looks like it had a leaking pipe above it a one point and the ceiling needs repaired, the cornhole boards are broken into pieces and just laying around makes the place look trashy, saw several cockroaches during our visit, one of the 3 toasters worked and the one that worked only one side of did not work. I would recommend placing house maker at the beach entrance so your clients can easily locate there way back to the house.

Another great week
Our family has enjoyed this home for at least six years- we have lost count! We used to get a different house every year but this one meets our needs so perfectly we keep coming back. We have noticed and appreciated the small improvements each year and even made some of our own without bothering the rental company. This year we bought more mugs, which we have done two other times as well. Next year I will bring more teaspoons- there are never enough but we don’t complain. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen pretty well stocked, the two refrigerators are welcome. The pool house is a huge bonus for us. Every year the cousins prepare and perform an original skit, so they spend time every day all together in the pool house for “play practice.” The managers bring some new furniture and very year- inside and out. The bedrooms could stand to have some of the extra chairs removed. They keep bringing new large chairs but leaving the old. That’s not much of a complaint. We like this place.

Nice place - could use a little work
Gigantic home with about a zillion rooms. All but one of the bedrooms are en-suite. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean when we arrived, except for a few tufts of dog hair leftover from a previous guest (the home is pet friendly so this isn't terribly unexpected).
The home was in good condition, though it could use some new paint and a little general maintenance in a few places there was nothing major to report. It's a very short walk to the beach. We were there in December so the pool area and house were winterized, but the hot tub worked just fine.
There are three regular sized refrigerators, one in the main floor, one in the lowest floor and another in the pool house. The main floor also has a mini-fridge. We would have preferred another fridge on the main floor as this is where everyone wants to keep stuff, but it wasn't a huge deal to split stuff across the other fridges. Two ovens and two microwaves on the main level meant no issues there. There must be fifty televisions in the home although we didn't use most of them.
Multiple hot water heaters so no issues there with running out even for our very large group. The HVAC on the top level seemed to heat those rooms unevenly, but again no big issues here.
All in all, it's a perfectly good place to stay, could just use some small improvements and a little bit of TLC on the maintenance side. Would have no problem recommending that people stay here (and we'd stay again) but it's not a home that we're going to be raving about greatness forever, either.

Great week as always
Perfect spot for a three generation family reunion . This house provides the perfect environment for multiple activities at the same time. The extra pool house provided a great spot for practicing the grandchildrens’ annual skit, kept a surprise until the last night. The kitchen has everything you need including keurig, crockpot and electric griddle and outdoor grills- our family always cooks every night rather than going out. This was at least our 7 th year in this house, under multiple management companies. Beach realty took good care of us

Great house- lots of room!
The house was large enough to accommodate our large family reunion. It was sometimes a bit of a challenge to reach Beach Realty about certain issues that came up during our stay but when we did reach them they were very responsive and pleasant and definitely tried to be as helpful as they could. The location is wonderful. The pool and hot tub were perfect. The rental provided linens and two bath towels per room. You have to bring your own chairs and beach towels. While we were there we found an iron and 3 hair dryers, not sure if the next people will leave them behind or not. I hated having to throw food away instead of leaving some things for the next renters, like oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, condiments, eggs, etc. It seems such a waste to have to empty the fridge of EVERYTHING as instructions repeatedly say: "If you don't follow directions there could be a charge." Makes you feel like you have no choice but to dump things. But that's more a comment on the rental policy than the house. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and would definitely recommend it to anyone with a large group. Having 10 master suites was great. There were a couple of powder rooms and plenty of extra space to spread out. If we go back to the OBX again I will definitely look into seeing if the house is available.

The house was great! Clean and equipped with everything. The only thing is they only supply one set of towels per person for the whole week. And it's hard to get up and down to the beach because of a big sand dune. But i would definitly stay again.

We had 23 people ranging in age from 92 to 6. We celebrated my father’s 92nd birthday in this lovely home to complete his last bucket list item. What a huge success.
This home offers four living areas. Plenty of room to even get lost alone in. We utilized every inch of space.
We had a total of about four hours on the beach. Windy up to 30 miles an hour or more. Our wind sock got a workout. Temps in the low 60’s. With that said, we still enjoyed the pool, hot tub and the pool house spaces as they blocked the wind.
Plenty of fridge space, one washer and dryer, but we made it work. We also gave the ice machine a workout.
Plenty of parking, the kitchen was well equipped and more than enough eating space.
We loved the set up with the 10 master suites for privacy and I believe the description omitted two additional half baths. One on ground level, and one on 3rd and 4th levels. Two additional cots included as well.
This home offers a flat top grill, charcoal grill and two gas grills.
I can’t say enough positives about this home. The patio on top of pool house is a great gathering space. I wish we could have utilized it more.
We did have a few personal issues which were PROMPTLY addressed and so pleased with how the staff addressed our needs. I can’t say enough about how pleased the whole family was with this house.
It is well located with Holy Cow ice cream shop within walking distance and Miller’s Restaurant .7 miles away.
We will definitely rent this home again in the future.

A great family vacation

Best vacation home we have rented!
We have been visiting OBX for the past 7 years annually, always renting a beach front ocean side large home. This home was the cleanest upon arrival, had everything in working condition, provided so many "extras" like a wireless speaker for the beach, cornhole boards with bags, grills in working order with propane filled, multiple wine and regular refrigerators, two full kitchens and a full bath in every room!!! It was an amazing week!

Location of property, bed and bath configuration, pool, and oceanside were perfect and why we chose this property. We did have a few issues with pool filter leaking and wet carpet and malfunctioning A/C units in the pool room. Management company was very prompt in addressing but the pool room was never fully resolved and therefore, not usable. We had a group of 20 somethings that this space would have been perfect for if usable. Additionally, for the money we paid there were small things that should have been better: burned out light bulbs, dirty microwave, missing remotes or unpaired to TVs. More shade/umbrellas at pool and better pool furniture or cushions would have been appreciated as well.

Family vacation tradition
We have been coming to the Outer Banks as an extended family for 16 years, staying in this house for about eight years. We have experienced at least four different rental companies in that time period! This house is perfect for our four generation family, with the exception that almost all the beds are king beds which isnt ideal for grandchildren but we make it work. The company is pretty responsive, although we wished they had brought a new dishwasher at the beginning of the week, when we first reported it, rather than waiting until change day. When one of the air conditioners failed at night, they brought us portable units for each affected room until it could be fixed. The decor in multiple rooms has been updated recently and all the beds are pretty new. Nothing is fancy except the ocean front location, just comfortable. The pool house is a huge bonus for a property of this size. Our family doesnt play ping pong much but the large air conditioned space including a bathroom makes an ideal spot for practicing and performing the annual “skit” directed, produced and acted by the grandchildren. This house has become imbedded in our family traditions!

start of a family vacation tradition
My3 kids, my grandchildren and some extended family had the time of our lives, Blue Crush was exactly as advertised plus some, house is huge and so well equipped, couldn't complain about a thing except the battery in the smoke detector going dead in the middle of the night

Good Location
This was the second time at this house and although many upgrades were done since our last visit some areas still need to be improved. The back of the house looks old and in need of paint. When you sit at the pool and look at the house you see it needs attention.
I set of towels per person per week is ridiculous. I toilet tissue roll per bathroom for the week is ridiculous. 1 bathroom had none. 1 of the grills needs replacement. Very old and rusty. They are only about 300. Spend the money. The pool table had two small tears in it when we arrived. Showing its wear and tear.
Overall the house worked for us. Just enough rooms and bathrooms. Added a multi game machine using some of the old style games like pac man. Nice touch. Pool house was nice. Convenient to all areas in the NH and KDH area. House on the beach. We needed repair service twice and the response was excellent. Sometimes same day.

First time in OBX
The house was great, it comfortably accommodated our whole family. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need for any meal big or small. The (2/3) dishwashers did not work and the outdoor grills were full of old debris which started on fire! Definitely need to be cleaned between guests. The pool was well maintained and was even cleaned during our stay. I also found garbage under one of the beds and several showers do not drain well. We would stay again but definitely recommend beach reality needs to service the dishwashers, showers and double check the cleaning service.

Family Holiday Stay
We had a wonderful time with multiple generations of loved ones spending the Christmas Holiday together. Blue Crush was a perfect location for this. The property was well equipped with great attention to detail. We are already planning our next family adventure.

Best visit in over a decade.
Great location. Beach was wonderful, great biking routes, close to grocery and other stores. The house is great, Lots of spaces to spread out. The grass area around the pool was nice to have.

Wonderful
We have stayed in this house for multiple years with multiple management companies. A few simple upgrades this year were unexpected but welcome: new mattresses and bedspreads, kitchen items and outdoor furniture, to list a few. This company does not supply soap and shampoo as we had become accustomed to, but that is no problem as long as you know. We love this house fir our annual family reunion with children and grandchildren.

Blue Crush crushed it!!
Blue Crush is almost the perfect large-family vacation home. We had family members ranging from 72 to 8 months. There was plenty of room to spread out or be all together. The teenagers enjoyed the pool cabana. It was the perfect place for them to gather in to play games, ping pong and visit at night.
The house is well equipped, especially the kitchen. Having two gas grills and one charcoal grill was very convenient. I would suggest adding a second fridge in the main kitchen and a high chair. The property appeared to be clean, except for a used bar of soap left in a bedroom shower.
The pool was just the right size. We were not able to use the deck above the cabana. It would have been nice to have umbrellas up there, as it was too hot to sit in this area.
We would definitely rent this house again.

Five Stars All the Way
There were 12 family members of mixed ages enjoying Blue Crush for a week and this house fit our needs perfectly ! From initial booking until departure, The process and communication were A++ . You will not be disappointed if you stay here while visiting OBX
The internet did get a little spotty in some areas of the house - so if you are planning a working vacay keep that in mind

Beautiful home
Beauty of a home ....oceanfront . We have been coming down for over 20 years and have used various agencies . This home was spotless on arrival and the maintenance responded quickly to an issue with the dishwasher. The workers were very nice . Well stocked home with everything you need. The pool house was a bit musty but being right on the ocean, I’m sure it gets water ....we just left doors open . Not an issue as there is an outside shower . Over all ...... 5 stars ! Best stay we have ever had and I thank you for helping us build many memories in our happy place .

Blue Crush is awesome f
Nine women, all over 65, could not have been more pleased. Every room has a king size bed and bathroom. The rooms are separated over 4 levels. Very quiet. In addition to two refrigerators..there is a mini fridge perfect for soft drinks or white wine. A large ice maker. Lots of space for game playing. It was just a perfect get away for our group. Great location for walking on the beach or roadside. Once again Beach Realty helped me find the best house for my needs
