Pine Island is a beach community located in Corolla, North Carolina. It's known for having some of the most beautiful vacation homes on the OBX, and offers some of the best amenities for visiting vacationers.
Visitors can enjoy more than three miles of wide, unspoiled beaches where they can relax, swim, fish and more. The Audubon Sanctuary at Pine Island borders Pine Island which features over five-thousand acres of protected wildlife areas and marshland.

PINE ISLAND BEACH CLUB: The Beach Club/South pool complex is located at 351 Audubon Drive (just north of the Hampton Inn and is a facility for the exclusive use of Pine Island Property Owners, their guests including renters and associate members. The facility consists of:
- Large Oceanfront Swimming Pool
- Small, Shallow Wading Pool
- Private Beach Access
- Pool Area with Large Deck Area with Seating & Umbrellas
- Dune-top Deck with Seating & Ocean Views
- Restrooms, Changing Areas, Showers & Lockers
NORTH SWIMMING POOL: In addition to the Beach Club, "The North Pool" is located just off North Cove Road. Parking lot one block inside the Black Pine Road entrance. This facility is for owners/renters only. Follow the sidewalk marked Pine Island Beach Access 3 to the North Pool & other amenities.

PINE ISLAND RACQUET & FITNESS CENTER: Stay active, healthy, and fit while on vacation. Visit Pine Island Racquet and Fitness Center, the premier facility on the Outer Banks. Located on the west side of route 12 opposite the Hampton Inn, 290 Audubon Drive, Corolla.
- Indoor climate-controlled tennis courts are available for rent, as well as private, semi-private, and group lessons.
- Four Outdoor Pickleball Courts plus 2 indoor Pickleball Courts are available for rent.
