Lovely Home
We went during Xmas 2024 Just the hubby and myself for a quiet getaway.
Home had amazing views from all rooms. Kitchen was well stocked
Beds were comfortable. Nice showers with good water pressure for my long thick locks.
Comfy couches, good internet and tv. We brought our own Apple TV
Great location.
Hot tub was more like a large jacuzzi but relaxing under the stars with ocean view.
Overall an older home but great price, location and met our needs.

Beautiful View at York!
We enjoyed our stay at York so much that we have already booked for next year! We loved the view from our house and the close beach access. It is convenient to the town in Duck and 20 minute drive from the grocery store. Our beds were comfortable and plenty of space for everyone. Were looking forward to spending time at York next year!

Would Stay Here Again!
Great location, close to downtown Duck, and ocean front with windows in every room to enjoy the view. Mostly clean, and did not smell like dog at all, which was a hug plus for being a dog friendly home! Loved the layout of the house and the decor. Only improvements might be to pull up the caulk to remove mold around bathtubs. Also the grill was very dirty and almost unusable, but my husband was able to salvage it and use it.

Very well maintained home and the only drawback was the beach access was right beside the home. We have a miniature dach who does not like big dogs and there were dogs coming and going all day long. The staff was great!!

Love York!
This is the second time I have rented the York in Duck, NC. It is the perfect size and I love that it is right on the beach with easy access to the ocean. Its a great little house with just about everything you might need. We shared with another couple and we each had our own floor with king size beds and bathroom so its very quiet and separate. There are two other rooms on each floor with single beds that are perfect for children.

Amazing View
Very comfortable home with the best views! We had relaxing week and saw whales (yes!!), porpoise and so many birds! Appreciated being able to bring our dog and enjoyed long walks on the beach. Everything worked perfectly and our one call to management was quickly handled.

Awesome house
I have stayed here a number of times with my daughter and our dog. Love the location and the house. Love being close to the beach and the town of Duck.

Perfect vacation house
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, you all ordered perfect weather for us and we loved the deck the balcony deck off top floor bedroom was so nice we enjoyed it very much. We look forward to next year at the same home.

Clean with comfortable chairs and beds. Wonderful view for exception of a new construction project 2 doors down that is building a structure out toward the beach which is blocking the beach view to the left (how is this legal)? Peaceful and quiet as no other renters next door. We liked the location just N of Duck very much. YORK was an adorable, oceanfront house with spectacular views of the sunrises the beach and the waves each day. It was perfectly suited for a small party (two of us) and one small dog, altho it could accommodate more. It was attractively furnished and outfitted with absolutely everything we needed. We definitely hope to come back to this little spot of beach perfection again!

Great Ocean Vacation in a very uncrowded area this time of year. Our kids came and surprised us for a couple of days and they too loved the house and location. Home has everything needed to enjoy a great vacation. (Keurig did not work) Second year at this great location!!

Beautiful week at the beach
We loved being able to sit in the living room and watch the waves. Lovely deck - we ate outside when the weather was nice and enjoyed watching the moon come up over the water. Great location, nicely decorated house comfortable furniture and beds and well equipped kitchen. Would highly recommend it.

We loved York! Perfect location with easy beach access. Beach equipment - chairs, umbrellas and lots of toys for little ones. Kitchen and pantry were beyond well stocked.
We had a couple maintenance issues that were immediately taken care of. As stated in previous post, upstairs den and stairwell doesn't have power and main level couches need replacing (says "new" in July 2022 on the website).
We would definitely recommend this property!

Another Great Stay
This was our second time staying at York. It was a perfect setup for two families- We had one upstairs and one downstairs. We were amazed at how soundproof the house is. We didnt hear the night owls, and they didnt hear our baby with her 6am wake up call! It had been four years since our last stay, and we are impressed with the improvements made around the house. We look forward to seeing more updates, like the carpet stairs (loose carpet had to be adjusted often so we didnt trip) and the back deck. (We LOV

Perfect family trip!
We had a perfect family getaway at the York property. Beautiful ocean views from almost every room. You could hear the waves crashing down day and night which I love! The deck was large and perfect for hanging out. Beach was steps away. Hot tub was relaxing with views of the ocean as well. Kitchen was well equipped. Close to restaurants and shopping. Absolutely love the Outer Banks, was very pleased with this property. Great locatiin, ocean views from all over the house. I would definitely stay at York again. Two annoying aspects, fridge filter needs to be changed for the ice and water dispenser. As well as the hot tub cover was two pieces of styrofoam would be nice to invest in a real more convenient cover.

Great location, perfect for sunrise views!
This is a great beach house! We loved sitting on the deck to watch the sunrise. House was very clean when we arrived. Very spacious living room and kitchen. The bathrooms seemed to have been recently updated and were pretty spacious. Also, the hot water was great! No issues for all of us to get a nice hot shower! Our only issue was a slow wifi - the router was back in a master bedroom so if it were moved closer to the tv or in the living room that would probably help.
