Wellington by the Sea - WEL102

Easy keyless entry, 3 bedrooms with 5 beds; sufficient for us, our niece, her husband and 2 kids. Floor plan is simple with nice furniture inside and out on the deck. Very nice view of the ocean with a grill & seating outside. We had only brief rain and nice weather.

We enjoyed our vacation and the unit where we stayed. The TV’s were an issue.

We were very pleased with this condo. The furnishings were tasteful and well thought out. The overall vibe of this property was quiet and exactly what we were looking for. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the welcome kit served us well. We are looking forward to a repeat stay in 2025.

Beautifully decorated condo with amenities that made it feel like home. Very clean and well maintained. Situated near restaurants and fun activities. Fully equipped large kitchen, clean bathrooms, and comfortable seating. The wall of windows ushered in gorgeous sunrises and the peaceful sounds of the waves. We loved the salt water pool! Looking forward to returning.

The location was a convenient stay for us as we attended the wedding of a family member during the week. Beach Realty were always quick to respond to inquiries leading up to the trip.

The rental was nicely decorated and stocked with items for use. Shortly after arrival we did encounter several of some unknown bugs in the bedroom and bathroom and some large stains on the carpets.

We will most likely use the realty company again but not confident we would stay here again at this time.

Beyond our expectations. Loved the well-stocked kitchen. Little extras throughout. Didn’t have to make the beds on arrival. Lovely visit.

We really enjoyed this condo. There are so many thoughtful touches throughout the unit. It is very comfortable and the decor is lovely.

Our rental unit was wonderful. Everything was as advertised and then some. The unit was clean and ready on time. The beds were great as were the rest of the furnishings. Only complaint was there was only one balcony door with a screen so we couldn't leave the others open because insects would get in.

My daughters and I had a wonderful time in this beautiful and serene home. Not being able to walk without assistance, it it’s difficult to find the perfect place that provides everything I want, but this place covered my entire checklist!

We loved the location of this condo! Being right on the beach and in the middle of the island was perfect! we could watch the high seas and the surfers from our deck! The condo kitchen has everything you could need! It is very spacious! Our only complaint is that the condo needs some maintenance and upgrades done. The towel bars falling off the wall need to be replaced! And there is black mold around the ceiling edges. And the couch is no longer is worn out! We enjoyed our stay but feel that a few things need to be taken care of!

I have nothing but good things to say- from the rental company Beach Realty, to the location and condo. Absolutely wonderful! This was our first visit to the Outer Banks and it was everything I hoped. Coffee in the morning on our deck, watching the ocean, beautiful beach. Well let’s just say I already have them holding my week for 2022!

We had a great time in spite of some cool and rainy days. 4 stars instead of 5 because the ice maker did not work but Beach Realty brought us new ice trays which worked for us.

Overall...a good experience. Upon arrival, the place was very clean. The cleaning crew did a wonderful job. The Apartment is spacious with a great balcony view of the Ocean. Only disappointment was that the thermostat would only allow you to have the A/C down to 68 degrees and would not allow you to go lower...this presented an issue as it was not cool enough, especially in the front bedrooms. Furniture was a little dated, but functional.

The condo is wonderful. It's well equipped with everything you need. We made a couple meals in and the kitchen has all the equpment needed. It's in a great location -- overlooking the ocean. You can go to sleep to the sounds of the ocean and have morning coffee on the deck watching the waves. We were there in mid-October and the weather was wonderful, especially for walks on the beach. Some people were still swimming in the water and many were surfing and fishing. The rental company is very responsive and makes check-in a breeze. We were able to easily get take out from a number of restaurants (due to COVID) but many are also open for inside dining for those who want to do that. And for those who want a work-from-the-beach location - the WiFi was very good.

This is the first time working with Beach Realty and staying at the Wellington. I’m very pleased with our experience. The condo was clean and organized. Kitchen was fully stocked. Owner left a very nice bag with paper products, dish detergent and laundry detergent. Beds were very comfortable. Of course this was the hottest week of the year— record high heat index but the condo was very comfortable. The personal at realty office were very helpful. Only thing was dryer took too long to dry a load of clothes. Had to use high setting and it still took a long time. This was emailed to office after we left, We will be coming back next year. Thank you for a great week!

Was second year there and its like home away from home will most likely be making next year a trifecta.

Love being oceanfront! Very short walk to the beach. Morning coffee on the balcony watching the Dolphins swim by...doesn't get any better than that! Kill Devil Hills is a great location. Condo was very spacious and clean. Customer service was great...everything done on line. Close to attractions...Water Park, Wright Brothers Museum, Aquarium, Lighthouse, Pier, excellent restaurants and shopping. We even took a class in ceramics! I would definitely would stay here again. The only reason I gave it 4 starts in property's condition is that the condo could use some updates, although it didn't hinder our stay at all. Our family had a wonderful vacation!

Excellent Location! Great place to be in the middle of the Outer Banks. We arrived to a clean condo. The first floor was great so that you could easily walk down stairs to exit the complex and you could see over the sand dunes to see the surf.
The kitchen was clean and adequately furnished. Not a K-cup type of coffee pot but OK. There were some coffee filters and napkins left by previous renters to use and this was helpful. There was also some Dishwasher detergent and dish detergent (for pots/pans in the sink) which was also helpful. There was a partial box of trash bags as well. I'd say check out residence before going shopping.
Linens were good. Fluffy towels. Sheets were a little worn but clean.
Hall bathroom had an oriental rug. We used a bath towel to lay on top of it for drying off. Since this can't be washed after each tenant, I would question just how clean it is and how sanitary it is using it guest after guest. Needs mats that can be washed between tenants.
King bed in the bedroom next to twin bed room, has LOTS of room for improvement. It has been used so many times there are ruts on either side. A new mattress is definitely needed.
The deck looking over the ocean was large and fully usable with chairs and table. Low outdoor chair and ottoman may need to be replaced soon, I think the bottom may break soon. It pops and groans a lot when sitting (I only weigh 140 and wondered if it was going to hold me).
Updating by removing the 70s/80s mirrors would be nice.
Sofa had 3 good firm cushions and 3 SUPER soft cushions that you felt like you were going to fall through when you sat on it.
New Gas grills for residents to use was very nice. There is also a rear door to the back of the complex from the balcony which gave quick access to the grills and the beach.

Was a great vacation, in a great location. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.

Our stay here was very pleasant. All of the staff we spoke with from the condo management company were very polite and helpful. We had a day of rain and the owner graciously called us to offer us an extra day for free to compensate. We unfortunately couldn't stay the extra day but I've never had that happen before!! The condo is beautiful but could use a few minor updates like painting woodwork and changing some outdated things (gold door handles for example). These of course are very minor things that don't detract from the condo as a whole. One thing I'm always concerned about when we travel is cleanliness and there was no problem with that here.

Very satisfied. Beautiful view, easy access to the water. Enjoyed the pool. We chose this place because there was elevator access, since my 99-year-old mother was with us (she uses a walker), as well as my 98-year-old mother-in-law (she uses a walker and a cane). A few small problems - the toilets were very low to the floor - we solved this by purchasing a raised commode seat; the doorways to the bathroom were unusually narrow, and the walkers would not go straight through so we had to help them into the bathroom each time they needed to use it; and the shower stall was very small and could barely fit the shower chair (bathing was difficult).
Otherwise, there was plenty of space to move around, the moms really enjoyed the balcony, and the kitchen was very well-equipped.

Perfect ocean view & you can roll out of bed onto the beach! The condo is beautifully decorated with every amenity you can think of. It was clean and well maintained. We had a little trouble with the AC one day & someone was there to fix it within an hour. I highly recommend staying here!

Excellent place! Had everything we needed from kitchen supplies, cleanliness, modern with a beachy feel, oceanfront, saltwater pool, and location was perfect. Sunset at Jokeys Ridge was amazing and 5 mins away. Local eateries within walking distance. We love OBX and we loved our condo!!! Thank you!!

This unit is centrally located to everything and being situated right on the beach is wonderful. The unit was well taken care of, spacious, plenty of parking and the pool was a great!
