This bright and airy cottage offers an open living area that holds wonderful views of the ocean. Enjoy the 42" LCD flat screen TV in the great room w/DVD and a Theater Sofa. This cottage offers a short walk to the direct beach access at the end of the Street, Sports a Rec. room w/Foosball and TV and a upper and lower Kitchen. Two Decks and a gas grill.

Location, location

We had a wonderful stay in Kill Devil Hills. Our rental was in an excellent location with east beach access. This was important to us because we had children in our group...it was very easy to walk to the beach and back. The rental itself was cozy, clean, and well stocked with utensils and cookware, games and reading material. For the most part the property was in good repair...however, a few spindles were loose on the stairway leading up to the second floor and we were disappointed that our two messages

Perfect house for our group

We had a mix of friends and family, including a 1 year old and adults. This was a kid-friendly house and it has fantastic beach access. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen, they had everything we needed. Beach Realty was very responsive when we reported that the coffee maker was broken. They also replaced the grill which was an older request I think. The only downside was the outdoor furniture was not comfortable.

Lots of space, great location, fully stocked home!

We had a great week at Too Close! The house is large enough for our family of 6 and very close to the public beach access. The house was clean and fully stocked with all of the things we needed to cook, which isn't always the case with vacation homes. The living room was comfortable and the large dining table nice for our family as well. Being able to sit on the deck and watch the sunrise was a great plus as well. Great house and location

House was great, very clean, great amenities, everything worked as it should, fully stocked kitchen for everything from BBQ to steaming clams. Only a two to three minute walk to the beach, couldn't ask for anything better. Will stay again for sure

Everything was clean and neat and easily accessible. There are a few broken blinds at some of the sliding doors. We really enjoyed our stay there and would love to go there again.

TOO CLOSE is Outstanding in every way !!!

2nd time we rented this property. Gets better and better!!! Everything you want is here, space, amenities, 2 kitchens, very close to the beach, less than 100 yards. Cant say enough good about Too Close! My wife, Eileen, had an emergency appendectomy at Outer Banks Hospital. Even that couldnt ruin her stay.
We will stay here again! Thank you for another great vacation!

Great location

This was our fourth year renting Too Close and we love it. Very reasonable price and great ocean view. We will continue to book this house but we are definitely hoping the upstairs stove and refrigerator will be replaced soon. The ice maker hasnt worked in years and the stove has small unleveled burners which take a long time to heat up.

This house had everything we needed, space, ocean views and it was located pretty centrally to all that we wanted to do. The short walk to the beach access was also really a plus. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect vaca.. house was amazing !

Truly the pics on the website do not do this house justice. It is quite bit bigger than it looks..and having 2 kitches/frigs..wow.. that absolutely amazing. You have ocean views, quiet street and less than minute walk to beach access! The kitchen was fully equipped.. and it was spotless when we arrived. The only issue we had was with internet, which was immediately identified by wonderful staff at Beach Realty and resolved. Thank you for an amazing vacation !

Great house!

We love this house. This was our second time renting it and we plan on coming back next year. Nice view of the ocean with a very short walk to the beach. The kitchen has pretty much everything you may need.

We had a great stay at Too Close beach house. The house was very well maintained and clean. It was stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We only had one issue and that was with the air conditioner, and we called and they took care of it for us. Overall, great stay and would definitely stay here again.

This house location was great! It was about 65 yards from the beach. You could walk with everything you needed for a nice relaxing time at the beach. The house was wonderful with a nice open floor plan. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms accommodate. Great location near great restaurants and activities. Awesome place to stay!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Too Close. The location was incredibly convenient and the house was very comfortable. We especially appreciated the lower level having a small kitchenette and living area of its own as my sister in law and her husband and kids (read: small, adorable boys) were able to claim that space. Since they tend to rise earlier than the rest of us it worked out perfectly.

Unforgettable Week at the Outer Banks

My extended family of 10 stayed here for a week the beginning of September. We loved every minute! The house was the perfect size for us, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and the open kitchen/living area a perfect layout. The outdoor shower was SO helpful. The best feature of this house is it's proximity to the beach. We had so much fun body boarding in a WARM ocean! We saw dolphins, fish, a sting ray, sand crabs and more. With tons of shopping options close by, we prepared all our own food in the well
