Another fun week at a beautiful beach house
We have rented this home the past few years and we are always so pleased with our stay. The home is very clean and equipped for your stay. We watched the sunrise each morning on the deck. The owners take great care to make our visit memorable. Their home has plenty of room with a large kitchen area and fireplace for fun family meals! The owners always upgrade their home and each year. They supply all you need including beach chairs and beach gear. A great home to bring furry friends as these owners are dog lovers like us. Thank you again for another great vacation.

Best house in the OBX
Beautiful home that has everything guests would need during their stay. There were a few maintenance issues which the owner addressed immediately. My family has been coming to The OBX for over 40 years, and Sunrise Splendor, without a doubt, is the best home we have ever rented. Thank you to the owners and Beach Realty.

Loved it!
Had a wonderful stay at Sunrise Splendor. It was just the right size for our party of six. We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the ocean view. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some - we cooked and grilled big meals every day. The space was very clean although a couple of rooms had a slight doggy smell which we quit noticing after a short time. We appreciated having two refrigerators on different floors and the fish cleaning table outside. There is a dumpster onsite but they don't collect recycling, so we took ours to the recycling center in Kill Devil Hills. The Outer Banks fishing pier/Fish Heads restaurant is a short walk away - great food and beer selection. We hope to return next year!

The property is VERY well-furnished and equipped and has a beautiful view of the ocean. Unfortunately the hot tub wasn’t working right and after several calls requesting repairs, it wasn’t repaired before we left. I don’t believe the people listened carefully to what the problem was. Very disappointing.

This property is a big duplex. There was no one next door when we were there in March. It was cold, rainy and windy while we were there. This property is amazing and the location is great. There was dog hair on the furniture and beds, so we were glad we took our own linens and saved the $260. The dishwasher never worked despite the instructions on how to reset it that didn't work either. They had more than we expected as far as supplies. They said we would need to take essentials like toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. Most of these things were supplied, but we took them anyways. It was difficult to pack considering we were flying. We found out not all places on the outerbanks require the extra fee for linens. We would most likely stay somewhere else next time just because of the lack of supplies and linens and the dog hair on the furniture and beds. The beds were comfy and we loved the fireplace. Overall we had a good stay.

We had a Fun Vacation Week!!!!!
This was the best week!!! We had so much fun! This beautiful beach rental has EVERYTHING you need for your vacation week. We made family dinners each night in this fully equipped kitchen and ate together in the large dining room table. We played with the corn hole game out back. We used the grill and ate our lunches on the large picnic table under the deck. So nice to enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the deck watching the sunrise on the ocean. My favorite spot!! This location is nice from the crowds but still close enough to great restaurants and shopping. We went to Mulligans and Sam & Omies. Both in Nags Head. We also went across the bridge to Mateo and visited the NC Aquarium. Thank you for offering such a nice home for us to spend a week to relax and make great memories! We will be here again next year!

Comfortable house with perks like dog crates provided, nutribullet and hot tub/pool. Beautiful view and just steps to beach but...was not very clean particularly inside cupboards and carpets. I realize a lot of the dirty carpets and cupboards can be attributed to previous guests but for an expensive rental I expected better.

This place was perfect, exactly as pictured! Plenty of room for 9 of us. Since April is a little chilly, we got plenty of use out of the hot tub!
The kitchen was well stocked, we loved the fact that it had a slow cooker with a timer.
It was very clean, for a property that allows dogs, there was no dog smell what so ever.
I don't have one complaint, we all had a great stay!

Perfect OBX home!
This home has everything you could ever want! It's spotless, very spacious, in an awesome location, with a kitchen that has everything you could ever need. The owners have put a lot of care and thought into the home and it shows. The kitchen even has a crock pot, blender, juicer, and egg poacher! We booked for next year before we even checked out!

Best Beach Rental Ever
We have been coming to OBX for nearly 30 years - this is the BEST rental EVER. It is up-to-date and totally equipped so we don't need to bring so many things with us. We rent it Early Spring and Late Fall and wish we could be there even more.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunrise Splendor. This home is very well stocked, comfortable furniture and the beds weren’t too bad either. We were surprised almost all bedrooms had their own bathrooms. Perfect for multiple families. Very well kept and lots of space.

They had corn hole there to play which we did even though it was chilly. The only negative is the water didn’t get really hot but it was hot enough. The chair on deck were comfortable and oh the swivel chairs in living room in front of the sweet electric fireplace that you could change colors on were also amazing. Not to mention in walking distance to Fishheads!! Whole place is tastefully decorated!’ Great time had by all

GREAT PLACE
Sunrise Splendor is in a great private location, great view of the ocean & very convenient walk to the beach, along with a private (shared) pool. It is well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen & extras on the outside for the beach, a gas grill & outside games such as horse shoes & corn hole. The inside is beautiful with plenty of beds & baths; along with a hot tub.

Relaxing week at OBX
Loved the ocean view from the 2nd and 3rd levels.
The house was very clean and included lots of toys to enjoy a week at the beach --beach chairs, corn hole boards, horse shoes and large picnic table to name a few. Loved the large kitchen, large dinning table and two FULL sofas with 4 swivel chairs for family gathering. The hot top was certainly a hit as well. We will definitely come back to this house.

Perfect Vacation Home - our third year in a row!
We love this house! We have stayed here three years in a row and love the location, the amenities and the upgrades. After our first year, I researched the other houses in the community and this one is the best by far. There is a great view from the decks, even though it is not technically oceanfront. The upgraded bathrooms, the beautiful finishes and upgrades in the kitchen and family room, are what keeps us coming back.

Family Beach Week
If your looking for the perfect house, this is it. Our adult son arrived first and texted immediately “this place is NICE!”. Others talked about the well stocked kitchen and the proximity to the beach. Both are true. Here are other things a renter wants to know. The house, decks and yard were all impeccably clean. Furnishings are all new and comfortable. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with good water pressure. The master bedroom bed is very firm, but the pillows are soft and comfortable. There is a television in every bedroom and they all have every channel imaginable . A pool company cleaned the hot tub twice during our week. The beach was large and not at all crowded. We had a wonderful stay.

Aptly named - the sunrises were indeed splendid!
This house was just what we wanted - perfect location, steps from the beach, close to a grocery store and restaurants for take out but not in a very congested area. It was roomy enough for all of us and the dog, nicely furnished and has a kitchen with everything that you need. This was our first trip to OBX and from this location we could easily explore both the north and south ends of the islands. The rental company was so easy to work with, they even called us the morning we were to check in to let us know that there was a problem with the refrigerator but they had already brought in another one. Thank you for sharing your vacation home with us.

Wonderful vacation home.
We could not have had a more relaxing vacation. Your home was just what we needed. We were just a short walk from the beach where we spent most of our day enjoying the sun and sound of the surf while reading a good book. The kitchen was stocked with everything anyone could need. We especially liked having the waffle maker there to use for breakfast. I have never stayed in a home that was so well equipped. The location was central to all that we needed. Relaxing Family Getaway
Our family has a planned family reunion and we were pleasantly relieved that we could safely visit during the pandemic. Locals and folks in stores wore masks and practiced social distancing in stores and on the beach. It felt like a private getaway. The house itself had everything we needed and was comfortable and the remodel well thought out to provide a comfortable stay.
The only negative is the property doesn’t appear to have any recycling collection. The trash protocol could take some explanation as we first thought the green dumpster was recycling only, but eventually we were told trash and recycling goes in this dumpster.

The Sunrise Splendor was the nicest house we have stayed in at Nags Head. We will def. be coming back again. We love to visit Nags Head and this by far was the best house that we have stayed in over the years. The renovated interior is better than any other in the lot. The views are amazing, and I didn't even mind being behind another house. The beach was empty most days since there is no hotel or public access nearby. We really enjoyed walking our dog on the beach in the morning and evening, and the grass yard was great for the dog also. The house includes great beach chairs and umbrellas, we really didn't have to bring anything but our bathing suits and towels. The two dog crates included (large and extra large) are the same folding kind we use at home and were very much appreciated to keep our puppy under control and with us on any level of the house. Cleaning crew was very nice and thurough; we met them when we forgot some items and came back an hour later. They knew exactly where our stuff was and didn't complain that we interrupted their work for a few minutes. We have already booked for next year and can't wait.

Sunrise Splendor
Our experience was top notch! The property was in a perfect location for what we wanted-family time on the beach. It was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The entire family wants to come back again next year!

Awesome week in Nags Head!
Wonderful place with all the amenities you could ever want. Fun bar on the beach a 1/4 mile away. Did not feel we needed to leave!

Great start to Spring!
So glad we picked this home to reunion with Northern cousin and celebrate the onset of Spring! Clean, bright, roomy and stocked with every amenity(even had nice clothes hangers & dirty clothes hampers in each closet!),great ocean view and proximity, with good beds and a VERY responsive owner...what more can I say!!??
