The house was nice. Plenty of room for our family of twelve. Unfortunately 3 of us were sick so we did not get to enjoy the beach or pool as much as we would have liked to.

Corolla Family Vacation

We had a great time and had plenty of room for nine of us in this house. The kitchen was so stocked with all kinds of appliances and pots/pans. Plenty of things available. Very short walk to the beach.

OBX Family Vacation

This was our first time to the outer banks. The Outer Banks is beautiful. The town of Corolla is very laid back. The location of the house was perfect as it was not far from the 4x4 beach access and the Spanish Mustang wild horses. The house was perfect size for our family of 10. The place was very clean Kudos to the cleaning people. The reservation process was flawless as we received a lot of information and reminders along the way prior to and during our vacation. The place is a little dated. It could use new living room furniture, new decking wear shoes as splitters and nails are sticking out, the back yard could be manicured so it could be used for games such as corn hole for the kids, and the screen porch was missing screen to the door. All in all we had a great time. Thanks

Summer Fun!

Really enjoyed the house and glad they upgraded the frig. Walk to the beach wasn't bad and we had plenty of sunshine for the family, who came in from 4 different states for the vacation. The management company could have done a better job of cleaning the house before our arrival, but the gift basket with local fresh produce was very much appreciated. I would recommend that the cushions on furniture in the living room be cleaned/updated along with softer beds.

Extended Family Vaca

We liked this house for multiple families. We did not need a pool as our second house had one. This was reasonably priced as it was a few blocks away from the beach and was not totally updated. We had a wonderful time!

Short walk to the beach.

With 7 adults and 6 kids we all fit comfortably. The code to get into the house was great because we didn't have to worry about each family having a key. Quick walk to the beach and pool! Loved the outdoor shower. Could walk to the beer garden and ice cream.

Great Get-Away

This house is pretty basic but had everything that we needed to quarantine in a lovely, beach environment. The house was clean and everything was in working order. We found the kitchen to be very well stocked. What we loved:
*the hot tub,
*the outdoor deck,
*the screened porch,
*well-stocked kitchen for our meals in (we eat almost everything in),
*that we could hear the ocean from the deck most days,
*the view of the ocean,
*the incredible walks whether it was a walk on the beach, the nature preserve, the 4 wheel drive beach or around the neighborhood.
*VALUE- the price is right
What wasn't quite as wonderful:
*it's a fairly long walk to the beach,
*there was not a cozy nook to read (get away) or work (as 3 of us were either working or studying)
*the house decor has not been updated, it's simple

Awesome as always. First time in this area and was not disappointed. Quick walk to the beach. Beach was friendly and not too crowded. House was perfect size and had little extras that were a surprise. Quick walk to 4x4 beach to see noir sets. Pools were nice and fitness center was good.

Into the Sun Vacation

We had a great week staying at Into the Sun. Our family of 13 included 7 children ranging in age from 5-13. The house was perfect for our group. It was clean and in good condition. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to prepare and eat all your meals there. The coffee maker, toaster, microwave, stove, and oven all worked well and were clean. The dishwasher worked but lower rack is need of being replaced. We used it all week but loading and unloading it was difficult. Having a kitchen broom (and fly swatter) would be handy. They only provided a vacuum cleaner, which was needed most at the basement entry to keep the sand under control and not easy to lug up to the kitchen area. The washer and dryer worked great. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table and there are also games in one of the lower kitchen cabinets. The house has a nice view of the ocean from the upper level and it is an easily manageable walk from the house to the beach. We also enjoyed using the pool over by the fitness center. It was clean and well maintained. We loved the beach, 4x4 beach ride in our own vehicles, Historic corolla park to fish and go crabbing with the kids,Jockey Ridge, etc. We had a great week!

Fantastic Beach Week????????????????????????????

The ladies at the rental office were very accommodating. The day we moved in with my son's 17th birthday. The bakery closed at 1:00 and I needed somewhere to store his cake until we could get into our beach house. She immediately said she would make room in her refrigerator to make sure the cake was safe until our rental was ready . When I took the cake to the office the lady surprised me and said our house was ready! They were very helpful. Can't wait to rent from them again ?? Thanks ladies??

Family Summer Vacation 2016

This rental home is perfect. Beautiful Ocean views from the deck, short walk to the beach and short bicycle ride to the pool. Volley ball court directly in front of the house. The home is roomy, big kitchen and large table. It's only downfall...hot water. We had 12 people in the house and the hot water would be gone after 2 showers. I read many reviews prior to renting. There was one about the ice maker, which was true but that is easily solved by buying a bag of ice. The home says it has a ping pong table but there was none

Overall good experience (despite comments below) as the house was large, with lots of room. However, needs some work (which in part may relate to the end of the season). Blinds in master bed allow too much light in the am; stove and sink not clean on arrival; the statement that there was a rec room was way overstated, given that all that was there was a relatively old ping pong table and nothing else. would be better to state there is a ping pong table room. Kitchen very basic (although large with lots of glasses), and was missing the broiler pan. Ice maker was very slow in making ice (although sufficient for the 4 of us; if more were in the house would have to buy ice daily).

Family Fun!

Our rental home was clean and comfortable. The deck was perfect for early mornings and evenings. Thank goodness the house was air conditioned as the weather was hot and humid. The beach was a short walk away, but watch out for got asphalt and scorching beach sand! Traffic on and off the OBX is pretty bad, but worth it once you get there.
