A Summer Nights Dream 2024
This house has everything you need in a great location. Seven houses in from beach access, no need to bring chairs (but bring an umbrella), hot tub ready for cool nights. Love the big table with benches in the dining area - plenty of room to sit the whole family. Kitchen was adequate, but builder's grade. Beds were comfortable. It could've been a little cleaner... Hasn't had a deep clean in a while but not bad enough to make us call and complain. Overall, it was a great week!

Lovely place to stay!
My family and I stayed for a week at A Summer Night's Dream and it was great! Property was very clean and comfortable, located close by to walking/running paths and the beach. Had everything we needed and loved the feel of the home. Really enjoyed the property. The only downside was two nights before we left some very loud college aged neighbors arrived to the house next door and stayed up in their hot tub & had a wild party both nights. The houses are so close and their hot tub and deck are adjacent to three of the bedrooms so not much sleep was had those nights due to the loud, partying neighbors. Otherwise, the stay was great and the rest of the neighborhood seemed very pleasant and respectful with no issues.

We loved our stay! It was located in a small neighborhood, which meant the beach was not over crowded. The neighborhood was within walking distance to the grocery store, the main shopping plaza and many restaurants! The house was clean, updated and cozy. We would stay there yearly if we could!

GREAT LOCATION RENTAL
Our first trip to OBX and we were all very happy with our trip. The house was very clean and had all the necessities needed from the kitchen to boogie boards, beach chairs and books, as well as being only a few houses from the beach and very convenient to restaurants. Would definitely rent again.

Awesome time!
This house had more than enough room to keep our family of four comfortable. We could even bring along another family next time! The owners clearly take pride in their house and check on it regularly. The kitchen was well-stocked. The bathrooms had some great reading material. It was only a short walk to the beach and a short drive to shops and restaurants. We will return next summer!

The house had adequate room for all, and the premises was clean and tidy. The beach was a very short walk from the house so this was convenient. The property was pet friendly, which my dog appreciated. Kitchen met our needs. Linen service somewhat lacking in that only one towel was provided for each person. I’m glad I brought some of my own. I could not find sheets to put on the futon; perhaps I didn’t look hard enough.

Wonderful Stay!
My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this home. It was a great distance from the beach and the perfect size for everyone. The loft area was great for an extra bedroom as well! The fridge and toaster definitely need to be replaced but other than that everything was great!

perfect stay for family!!
This was our first stay in OBX! We got so lucky picking this house!! It was perfect! Less than a 5 min walk to the beach! Quick bike ride to stores, bagel shop, & much more!! We had two small children ages 3 & 10 months with us and the house was great for them! We appreciated all of the beach toys and chairs to use! We can't wait to stay here again in the future!!

We really enjoyed the house. The little extras make a big difference, like the container of toys, books and games. Having the salt and pepper and other things to use that you don't have to go and buy is nice. The layout for us was perfect and the proximity to the beach was the best! Just wish the outdoor picnic table had a screen, it looks as if it did at one point.

Late Summer Treat
We stayed the last weekend in September and had a wonderful time. The house was great, an easy walk to the beach. Comfortable, very pretty home with plenty of room and well-equipped. The linen service is a big plus. There were a few minor maintenance issues (not unexpected at the end of the season) like burnt-out light bulbs and nail pops on the deck, but overall a wonderful stay.

The house is very clean and spacious. The keyless entry is a nice touch, but the handle is a lever, not a knob. My dogs learned how to break out of the house within a day. The locations is within 50 yards to the beach, which was great. You could hear the waves from the decks. We have been vacationing in the Outer Banks for years, this was one of our favorite houses.

What we did on our summer vacation
The rental experience was great. The owner was very accommodating and answered questions promptly. I enjoyed the Facebook group. Experience with the realty company staff was also very positive; every one was pleasant and professional. They went out of their way to accommodate a delivery from a medical supply company so my elderly mother could join us and still be able to use her CPAP machine at night. The repair man also responded promptly to a call about our clothes dryer, it was fixed and worked like a dream afterwards!

Great time at Corolla and Summer Nights Dream
The house itself was excellent in location to beach, shopping and pool! Very comfortable for our family of 7. Our first time at Corolla, and we have found a new beach, and home! Lots of chairs, boogie boards and little things that we did not have to bring! We ended up "fighting" over the upstairs reading room with nice breeze from the back of the house! The only downside,'maybe the smart tv's that we weren't smart enough to figure out...only got a few channels, and one of them was not news....which was fine for me but hubby felt disconnected ��Not a deal breaker at all!! I did not think we would use the hot tub, but it ended up being a nightly activity after beach/ghost crab catching walk. The rental company was very attentive as was the owner with a very small glitch upon arrival. We highly recommend!!

Great family vacation spot!
We greatly enjoyed our stay at A Summer Nights Dream. The set up of the house was perfect for the family and everything was clean and ready t go when we arrived. It was close to many of the amenities of Corolla and a very short walk to the beach. Highly recommended!

Perfect family getaway!
The house was warm and inviting with really nice homey touches. The owner has definitely used it for their family as attested by old photos framed throughout the house. The hot tub was a welcome sight at the end of the day and small surprises like the nicely stocked bookshelves in the upstairs bathrooms made this house very inviting.

Dreaming of Summer Nights at the Beach
This was a beautiful house in a convenient location. Close to the beach and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Our few complaints were that we had ants in the kitchen and the screens on the screened in porch had been torn out, presumably by bad weather before our arrival. The reservation staff were professional and helpful when we spoke with them before our stay. My favorite spot was the captain's watch, which quickly became my reading nook, and my husband enjoyed eating breakfast on the deck. Both spots provided views of the ocean. Overall, a lovely house for your stay at the beach.

Comfortable Home
Nicely attired home, adequate kitchen. Living space was larger than it appeared on the pictures and the beds were comfortable. Maintenance folks were responsive and very polite. Hot tub was very clean and well maintained.

Cute house, convenient location!
We enjoyed 'A Summer Night's Dream very much. The TVs were tricky - the instructions on the fridge for them were not super helpful, but we found instructions taped to the underside of one of the remotes. The house is located a very short stroll to a really nice beach, and has a convenient wash station in the garage area. The homeowner is easy to communicate with and very helpful, The management company responded well to my parents who are older and didn't realize there is a separate thermostat for downstairs vs. upstairs and called them before my family arrived to help out. The kitchen has enough supplies for you to cook and eat at home. The house is close to shops and cute restaurants. The Food Lion within walking distance was also super helpful. We loved the location and the house!
