Great getaway and family fun location!
Our family of 5 adults and 2 children had a wonderful week at this vacation rental. It was exactly as described and clean with a well equipped kitchen. The house is older with steep staircases, but well cared for and comfortable. They provided a tension gait and high chair which were essential for our 1 year old. The beach carts were convenient as we spent a lot of time at the beach which is less than a 10 minute walk away. Afterwards we enjoyed the pool, hot tub, outdoor shower and screened in porch . It’s also a short walk into Duck for shopping, ice cream, Duck donuts and sunsets on the boardwalk.I would recommend the NC Coastal Grill there as well. The management company responded quickly to my concerns. I would definitely recommend this rental!

Awesome time
The home was in an excellent location as we could walk to the beach in less than 10 minutes and into town in less than 5 minutes.
The home was nice but a few things need to be addressed as the refrigerator was broken inside shelves and drawers kept falling down!
One screened door was broken and one post holding the deck up was extremely bowed and cracked down the middle of the post!
With that said we still had an awesomely relaxing enjoyable fun filled week! The beds were comfortable and plenty of comfortable space!
The home was nice but a few things need to be addressed as the refrigerator was broken inside shelves and drawers kept falling down!

Wonderful Spring Break Vacation
We enjoyed a great week at Shore Is Fun. There was more than enough room for our family of 5. We could walk to so many places we wanted to go, from the beach to town and the boardwalk over the sound. We enjoyed the hot tub every day and made use of the screened-in porch for breakfast and dinner. We even played a spirited game of 3v2 basketball in the driveway. Such a great place for our memorable week in Duck!

Shore is Fun stay
The house worked great for our 2 families. It is in a perfect location. The pool was absolutely necessary. The drain was clogged and the repair team was responsive. I feel if you invested a few dollars and switched out the tennis balls on the chairs for appropriate sliders, it would look much nicer. Also there is a set of rusty chains on the lower deck that can be easily removed as a hazard. THhank you for the wonderful vacation.

Great stay at Shore is Fun
Shore is Fun is a great house to stay in Duck. Close to town and not a bad walk to the beach. The house is clean and has everything. The screened in porch is great, and the fenced in pool and patio w/hot tub is as well. This house really offers a lot for the money. I would stay here again next year, but we will be taking our dog and this is not a pet friendly property.

Close to beach and sound (and Duck Doughnuts)
Pros: in the heart of Duck; close to everything. Quiet street with lots of other family renters. The air in the house works GREAT! Decking to have meals outside, and a screened in porch too. Small but great pool with great spacious pool decking and plenty of chairs. Large hot tub at the pool area. Cons: I don't know if it is due to covid, but there were not any dish towels or paper towels or trash bags that normally we have had in many other OBX rentals. We normally stay in Southern Shores and decided to stay in Duck this time. Great decision as we were so close to everything and still ride our bikes to Southern Shores to see family members who are locals. The kids especially liked having an ice cream store at the beginning of the street of this property. We were pleased with our rental this year.

Our linen packages for 2021 will include kitchen towels though. We are terribly sorry you were not left a roll of paper towel and trash bags. We do typically provide one roll of paper towel (in the starter kit) along with one trash bag per trash can to help start our guest's vacation. We look forward to seeing you back next year!

Very enjoyable stay!!
Had a great vacation with our 2 granddaughters. The house was very nice, well appointed kitchen, everything we needed. Equidistant to the beach and the shops at Duck. Walked out in the evening for dinner, ice cream and of course Duck Donuts in the morning. The small pool is a plus on hot days when you return from the beach. Would love to stay here again!!

This was a very nice house to stay in and would stay again.
Lovely house, great location and very homey. Only thing was the table on the top deck did not lock in place and poses a safety risk, the hot tub had trouble maintaining the temperature and the tub in the downstairs bath sounds like it isn’t seated correctly because it creaks really bad.

Shore was fun
We wanted to be able to walk to the beach and also to the Duck Shops. Shore is fun is equidistant from both. The house had everything we needed for comfort. The rooms are attractive and the bed we used was very comfortable. We enjoyed using the pool. The wi-fi is spotty and I would recommend that instructions for using the electronics be made available. Despite Hurricane Michael passing by, we had a great time!

Had everything we needed. Did not have keyless entry and beds needed made but linens were provided. Kitchen had everything to cook some great meals which saves on money. Directions for the TV would have been helpful but able to play around and figure it out. Close walking distance to all the Duck shoppes. Overall would recommend.

We stayed 2 weeks in this comfortable house that felt like home. We had everything we needed for a great vacation. The house is Truly 5 minutes from the beach and 3 minutes to shops and boardwalk. We are already planning for next year!

Second stay at Shore is Fun
We had a great time again this year. We love the privacy of the pool and Jacuzzi. The distance from downtown Duck and the beach is very convenient. My only complaint would be that there were no dish towels provided. That is not something that I would want to purchase for a 7 day stay.

Shore is Fun sure was fun!
Great vacation! We had 3 families staying in the Shore Is Fun house and it was clean, comfortable, well equipped and the location was excellent! We are already planning our next trip back to the OBX!

Awesome Vacation!
We had a perfect vacation..Shore is fun 220 was a perfect house...great location to the beach and Town of Duck...great pool also! We truly enjoyed our vacation and will be back next year!!
