Sandi Hill - C7026

Location - Great! Close to major shops, and easy beach access. House built on slight hill and lots of space between homes. Bedroom/bathroom set up is nice, but kitchen is too small for the number of people the house can sleep. Kitchen is in need of upgrade - pots & pans past their lifespan and very limited. Some drawers were broken and paint on cabinets was chipping. Wi-fi was spotty and slow. The Ship Watch room was great for people who stayed up late or woke up early and didn't want to disturb the others. Pool and hot tub area was well designed but could use more comfortable chairs around the pool. Overall - we would rent again if the kitchen is better supplied.

Overall great location, while surface clean it could use a more detailed cleaning ie: under beds and living room furniture. This was our 2nd stay in this house and by far was much better than the first time. Again thank you for an incredible stay.

We enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and ready on time, which both are important to us, after a long trip from PA. We had no issues with our stay at all. Only downfall for us was, we cook all meals when we stay and the kitchen was small with only two people trying to prep meals. Also there is not a lot of items you need to prepare meals. Other than that things were good! Would recommend this house for a small group, or people who don’t do a lot of cooking while on vacation.

Our family had a wonderful week at Sandi Hill. We had 12 people which included our children and grandchildren. The fire station across the street was a definite plus for the boys. The hot tub was great and the pool was fun even though we had some cool days. This is a great rental for a family with the bedroom connections set up.

Our stay was wonderful. The location of the house and distance to the beach is perfect for a large family with small children. The dryer was broke upon our arrival but maintenance responded timely and it unfortunately couldn’t be fixed. We made due for the rest of our trip and it was a perfect week.

The location of the house and the house were perfect! Would rent this house again. Was perfect for 6 grandchildren and 6 adults!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Sandi Hill. The location is perfect. The house, decks and pool were great! The view is beautiful. We have rented with Beach Realty of NC for years and have always had great service. With that said, in most of the bedrooms, there were food wrappers and pieces of candy scattered in the rooms. We started dinner, we found that the stove was unfunctional. Upon contacting the management company, we learned that they were waiting on a part to fix the stove and it would be at least until Monday that it could be fixed. The management team would provide some appliances to cook with the following day, but in the meantime, we spend $300 going out to eat when we had plenty of food in our house. A skillet and a crockpot carried us through until the stove could be fixed and were very appreciative. A few days later, we had a problem with one of the toilets and a plumber was not able to come during our visit. A minor inconvenience because of the number of people staying with us, but an inconvenience none the less. I feel like I needed to provide the feedback to the management company, but I don't want to discourage anyone from renting this house or from this company. We had a great week and would stay again in a heartbeat.

We visit Corolla every year, by chance staying in a different house each time. This time we ended up at Sandi Hill & it's our favorite! We hope to come back! The location is perfect, close to shops and an easy walk to the beach. Being across from the fire station is actually a plus because it's a low building and you can see the ocean over it! The house had plenty of space for our crew - we travel with our 3 boys (10-15yrs old), my mom and my bother & Sister-in-law. Plenty of space to spread out and hang together. The basketball hoop was a hit! The only negative was the cleaning - the general in between guests cleaning was good, it was the "pay attention to the details" cleaning like light fixtures, etc that could use a good once over. We had 1 need to reach out to the mgmt company & they responded quickly and we resolved the minor issue (with the tv/wifi) in minutes.

We enjoyed our week away. The pics weren't completely representative of its current condition. The house could use updating. The pool company put a signup saying it was closed but we got it resolved but it could have been a big issue. Regardless, we had a good week. Loved the pool since the waves were a bit rough. Would go again though!

There wasn't anything we didnt like about this house... very comfortable, a space for the kids to hang out, huge basketball court, nice with outdoor minifridge near hot tub, gas and charcoal grill, great pool. Perfect location... so close to the beach. The beach chairs there were in pretty bad shape, but we brought our own bc we know how renters treat them, so no big deal. Great house, memorable week. We'll stay here again.

We had a very good time while we were down at the beach!! We enjoyed the house very much, nice fenced in area for our 2 dogs, they were comfortable and that makes it a little easier on us!! Only issue was the internet was not working, we were able to mobile hot spot and after that worked we didn't care about the internet. We did have a hiccup with checking in, but management took very good care of us during that process!! We will stay with the house again when we return to the OBX in the future!!

This house was perfect for our week trip with 2 families and my in laws who joined us for a few days. The house was extremely clean and had everything we wanted (pool, hot tub, short walk to beach).

Our family has been looking for a house in Corolla to book multiple summers in a row for a while, and we all agreed (there are 13 of, 8 adults, 5 kids) that this house has been the best we've stayed at so far. There were some minor things with the house that could be updated. The deck could definitely use some updating, my niece and my kids and husband got multiple splinters in their feet (so wear your shoes when you're outside on the deck). The kitchen is pretty small, and the fridge is also small for 13 people (it would be great to have a larger fridge on the deck near the hot tub, that would help a lot with the drink overflow). There were a lot of things we liked over all. The room set up was key for us. Having 2 Masters so that grandparents were semi-separated from where we were with the kids was ideal and the bonus room up the stairs from the living room/kitchen was great for the kids to play and watch TV and hang out after the beach. This may not be for everyone, but I really enjoyed that there was a cable box in most of the bedrooms where the kids could wind down if needed at night or if adults needed to get away from the other people in the house. The 2 masters didn't have a tv or a box, but it worked out with the bonus room and the main living room area. The hot tub tiki bar area was really nice also. We enjoyed coming home after the beach, hanging out in the pool then the hot tub and having snacks/drinks on the bar.

The washer and dryer are small, they could use new ones, the bathrooms were all updated, the pool is a nice size for the kids. The grill also worked fine.

Being across from the fire department was interesting. We saw some action a few nights, nothing major. My boys loved seeing the trucks and the guys would come out and say hi to them on our way to the beach. The walk was really short. It was one straight path to the public beach access walk way. Food lion is also really close!

We stayed at Sandy Hill and we really enjoyed this home. The home had everything we needed, it was clean, spacious and most importantly the beds were comfortable, which makes all the difference in the world when your away from home. It's located directly across from the fire station, so it was interesting to watch those folks do their daily chores. The beach is just a 5 minute walk away from the house! I will definitely be returning, Corolla was a awesome place and we even got to see the Wild Horses on the 4x4 side of the beach, which was only 5 miles up the road! This was a AWESOME vacation experience!

We stayed here the last week in August and had a great time. We brought our dog with us and he felt very at home, he didn’t want to leave at the end of the week! The beach is about a 3 minute walk from the house. The food lion is right around the corner, which ended up being very convenient. I would suggest not going food shopping until Sunday morning if you arrive Saturday because it was a mad house that day, you could barely get around in the food store, we ended up just ordering a hoagie from lucky’s which is in the same shopping center.
Overall the property was as described. Clean and comfortable and it really felt like a home away from home.

Our group of 14 had an awesome week at Sandi Hill. Management company was great and the passcode was nice not having to stop at an office for a key.House had everything you could ask for. The pool and hot tub were great. Being a short walk to the beach was a real plus. Would definitely rent from again.

We had a Wonderful time. Every year for the past 6 years we get together with friends from college we haven't seen in awhile and stay in a 'Beach Realty' house. Beach realty is always really good about addressing any concerns we have. First the good: We loved the pool and hottub area, I had never seen a sitting area set up next to a hottub like this before and it was a great way to converse with everyone. Who ever owns the house has the internet set up very well the router was set up with the back facing you so it was easy to plug everything, small detail but still nice. The beach is only a block away and you feel safe with the fire department being across the street. There is also plenty of parking and the grocery store is in walkable distance to the house.
now the not so good: This house is a little old, and with that came some problems. The dryer hose to the outside was very old and broke while we were there and using it, leading to the smoke alarms to go off and the house getting very hot. Also the outflow vents for the A/C unit doesn't cool the 2nd of the 3 levels leaving one bedroom to stay very hot. Beach realty sent people out right away to try to fix these things. the dryer was fixed but there was nothing that could be done about the A/C problem, so be aware of that issue.
Only other complaint is more of a learning experience then a complaint and that is that the discription of the house needs to be changed. It states that it sleeps 16 people, I would disagree. We had 16 adults exactly and it was a very tight fit. We needed 3 air mattresses to make it work. So I would put the description as sleeps 14 if its 2 to a bed.
along the same line the kitchen is very small for that many people and there is only one regular refrigerator, and the house didnt have anything to store your leftovers so plan your meals accordingly. Other than those small issues the house was very nice.

The house was perfect for our family! Lots of space, and we really enjoyed the location and proximity to the beach, as well as the pool and hot tub!

We had some difficulties with the stove - only 2 burners worked, and the oven would turn itself off randomly while trying to heat it. We also had some difficulties with the refrigerator not being cold enough, and with the freezer not making ice.
We worked around it all, and it was not enough to ruin our stay.

Overall, we loved the house and would definitely consider staying again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sandi Hill. The home was clean with plenty of room for all of us. The extra living space was a plus.
The one negative comment I would have is when we had a toliet issue a few days before leaving and left a message for the maintenance department no one called me back or came out to fix the problem. We would definitely rent this property again.

We had a great stay here with our pets. The house has everything you need and is in a great location! The grocery store, restaurants, and putt putt are within walking distance, and the beach is only about 1-2 blocks away. You can see the beach from the top deck. We also really enjoyed the hot tub and private pool.
