First Timers!
We were very happy with our first OBX beach rental. Beach Realty could not have been more thorough and easy to communicate with. This house was perfect for our group. We did not use the bunk room - but if there were children, you should consider this property!

Looking Glass at Nags Head NC
The location is perfect. Restaurants, shopping, grocery stores are all in very close proximity. The beach access is awesome, being only 75 yards from the ocean! The house has everything you need for a week of vacation. The floorplan is typical for the Outer Banks. The house is dated. The exterior needs attention, carpets are old, the living room furniture is nearing the end of its useful life. Some of the mattresses need replacing and the bathrooms are very dated. We had a very strong pet odor in the house

Great location
We enjoyed the house and it was great to be right on the beach. Also easy access to local attractions such as mini golf, Jockey Ridge and Wright Brothers national park. There are a lot of nearby restaurants. We enjoyed Millers and Mulligans. I was disappointed that there were a number of maintenance issues that would be relatively easy to correct that had not been addressed. Such as- Burnt out bulbs, florescent lights in kitchen barely worked, switch for pool lights is broken. one jet control knob on hot tu

Perfect Location
This beachfront home offered a perfect balance of privacy and accessibility, making it convenient to grab last minute items. The public access nearby made it easy for friends to join us on the beach. The comfortable beds and clean rooms were appreciated, although some rooms could benefit from updates to cabinets, dressers, and fixtures. Mother's day week escape
We stayed at The Looking Glass cottage on oceanfront and thoroughly enjoyed the cottage and all its amenities. The cottage is well laid out on basically four floors. The top floor provides an escape with a day bed, views of the beach, wet bar, full bath and flat screen. The weather was not conducive, but being in an area that we could access many restaurants, seafood and food markets made the weather a non event. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and brand new gas grill. All in all a pleasant experience.

Family vacation to celebrate mom's retirement
We loved the rental and especially the separate enclosure for the pool and hot tub. Our family spent most of our week vacation on the beach on at the pool enjoying each other's company.

Moore's beach vacation @ Looking Glass
We were taking our adult sons, their wives and our 3 grandkids to celebrate an anniversary. Had been to OBX previously. This property was a great choice. The property was clean when we arrived. Kitchen was very well equipped and having the rental company leave the CoolCabanas tent was a very nice touch. (We bought one upon returning home).

Great week at the beach
The only downside of this house is that the deck with the view of the ocean is on the second level off a bedroom. The outside shower is located by the pool in front of the house so one would either walk through the house or walk around through the beach access road and cross over to the shower. Bit more sand in the house from the kids. Living room/kitchen very receptive to everybody being together. Ship watch level is great. Perfect week on the OBX
Really loved this house. It wasnt perfect but close. The construction next door was loud and inconvenient at times but that will take care of itself. Everything was cleaner than places I have stayed in the past and we really appreciated that. Our only disappointment was the huge price increase for next year. Guess we wont be back

Would stay again
The house is a little worn, as is typical of Outer Banks beach houses, but it was PERFECT. Clean. Lovely. Right on the ocean. The pool and hot tub are in the front yard along the road, not between the house and ocean, but this worked well as we had small children that could not get in without help. We loved it and would book here again.
