A great getaway with your pets
This is a great house. It’s spacious with a small view of the ocean. It’s also right across from a public beach’s access point. The only downside of its location is that it is right behind a small hotel. The house had a lot of great amenities like a hot tub, heated pool, and a poker table. However, we wished it had smart tvs to have movie night or watch sports. We had to hook up our laptop to the tv, which was inconvenient. The WiFi was also too weak to use it. But don’t get me wrong, this was a great house and we had a fantastic time. We would definitely rent again. Property management team were top notch.

Overall I was satisfied with everything. The only problem we had was the day we got their our pool was green someone did come the next day and put chemical in that dis clear it up fairly quickly the man said it was due to flood waters, but the neighbors both had crystal clear pools. My opinion it should have been done before I got there for the price we paid to stay for a week.the pool was a big thing with the house so not having it for a day of our stay did stink.management did not mention anything about the pool or that they would be having a man stop by unexpected But besides that everything was awesome! The house was big enough and had everything we need as a family. Would recommend

Big, Close and full of Deck
if you are a fan of sitting outside sipping your morning coffee or your evening "tea" this is the spot for you...ample bedrooms, seating areas and bathrooms made this an easy stay for my crew. 3 minute walk to the beach, 5 minutes to two great restaurants, the YMCA and within 10 minutes you are at any grocery or convenience store needed...highly recommend...the management company is highly attentive, very communicative and easy to work with...large heated pool and hot tub round out the amenities...highly recommend.

Great time at Island Time!
Island Time is a great property. Very clean, awesome layout and great location. The house has all new decking on both sides of the house. The street side (ocean side)was bit noisy as it was bike week for the first few days and then hot rod week. Both events provided great people watching time from the top deck. The slider on the top deck really needs some tlc as it was difficult to open as was the shower door in the top master. It appears that the interior has been recently painted and newer flooring. The pool and hot tub are great. The only thing lacking was a fenced in yard for the dogs. Would totally recommend staying at Island Time.

Family Time at Island Time
My family enjoyed our week in Nags Head staying at Island Time. The house needed some upgrades but overall it worked for us. We had 2 volleyball players unhappy because the net area had not been mowed and they were unable to play. The heated pool and hot tub were both a hit with the grandkids. The heated pool was worth the $250 however when I read that there was a "free heated pool special" for the month of April, I was not happy.
The location of the house was perfect for us. Unfortunately, Nags Head Pier was closed but we were in walking distance to ice cream and a nice restaurant. Overall, its a wonderful place for a family of 10.

Great Location & Ocean views!!
We had a great time on our Fall vacation! The home was clean and had all the amenities you will need. The interior was updated and well taken care of. The King mattresses in the 3rd floor bedroom and the 2nd floor bedroom should be replaced, the felt worn out. The exterior window on the 3rd floor leading out to the deck had rotten wood on the bottom right side & a gaping hole in the siding. The home is convenient to the fishing pier, beach and restaurants. Beach Realty was extremely helpful and called to check on our stay. The goody bag was a nice touch and extremely thoughtful. Thank you Beach Realty, we will be back soon!!

House was amazing but reality company came up short
We were traveling with several dogs and babies so we planned our stay carefully. Paid for early check in. Called the Wednesday before and got confirmation. When nearing the latest early check in time called realtor. Was told that former employee messed up reservation and they would call me back as soon as the talked to housekeeping. Two hours later I called again. Previous agent had done nothing. Was told to go to property and stay in pool area until house was ready. Housekeeper was very apologetic but said they were called 10 minutes earlier. So not only did we miss out on a day on the beach, but we had to deal with dogs and babies. Next day spoke to manager who was very apologetic and promised to deliver bagels at 9 the next morning. Bagels were delivered around 11 AFTER I called to ask about them. Hope to rent the house through another company next year. Yes they did refund early check in.

Great vacation!
House was very clean, with an amazing location and plenty of room! Very few houses allow more than 2 dogs, so this house was ideal to accommodate the pets from two families traveling together. Kids loved Surfin Spoon just a few houses down. I have to echo prior comments about the beds, all except the queen bed were extremely uncomfortable (worn, creaky, sunken in). Pool turned green from the tropical storm, and was reported to the realty company but no one came out to check it before we left. It was disappointing not to be able to use the pool our last day given the beach was closed for swimming. Overall, a really nice trip and we'd rent this house again assuming mattresses were replaced.

When we arrived we found out the elevator was not in operation. Was told an email was sent, I never received the email. Has to get an electrician in to fix the game room recepticals there was no power there
The TV in the game room didn't work, dog poop outside the sliding door to go to the pool. Obviously some maintenance needs to be done to the deck upstairs. The beds were not comfortable. Location was good, weather was terrible, left before week was up.

Very pleased with the house and location. Exactly as described. Pool heat made for a very enjoyable spring vacation. Elevator was worth the extra cost for age 62+ guests. Kitchen was equipped better than most and everything was in working order. If available for our desired week next year, we will definitely re-rent.
Only negatives ... When I inquired about baby equipment, I was told that none was included, resulting in me renting some items that were already in the house. Beds were not comfortable for some, but I realize that is a very personal preference.

Ideal for our family
We were happy to find a house that could accommodate us and the dogs for the holiday week. Being near the beach access was ideal and since it was the winter there was little traffic and noise. We enjoyed using the hot tub and having two living room areas. Kitchen was the perfect size and had everything we needed for the week. We appreciated the welcome bag and were able to settle in quickly. Having the beds made was wonderful since we arrived late in the evening.

Loved Island Time! Distance to beach access, pier & Surf & Spoon ice cream, along with the nice sized heated pool, made our beach week very enjoyable. Doggy area could have been larger, but our pets were still happy to be with us! We normally like to try different houses, but we may come back to Island Time! The only complaint would be the house could use some TLC. It shows its age.

Nice House, Great Location
The weather was terrible, but the house was nice. We opted for the pool heat, which I am so glad we did. The house is in a great location, very close to the beach. They allowed my 3 Dogs to stay which was awesome, the dogs did not care for the large river stone in the doggie play area. The yard is not fenced in, so walking them was a chore, But we managed. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything one needs, the bathrooms were huge and the elevator was very handy. The management company texted me updates along the way for check in - check out - garbage days. Great Experience.

Great Place to Stay
We had a great week at Island Time. We had 13 family members and it was very comfortable. The elevator was a huge help loading and unloading groceries,etc. and perfect for our 80-year old parents. The house is perfectly located steps away from the beach!
The only thing to note is if you have dogs, the back area is not fenced in. The pool area is fenced in but the grassy area isn't. We didn't realize this but it wasn't a problem with leashes. The chairs in the family room around the extra table were a little hard but overall the accommodations were good.
Plenty of nice restaurants, shopping and groceries close by - very convenient.

We love Island Time!
I have nothing bad to say about this property! My family loved it! The house is huge, it was very clean and we own a cleaning company so we are clean critics lol. Everything was just like the pictures. All of the amenities worked fine. The location was perfect the beach access is literally across the street. The hot tub was a nice size and very clean. Long story short we will definitely return to Island Time! Lastly Beach Realty of North Carolina, had great customer service and that means a whole lot to us. If you are on the fence go ahead and book it you won't be disappointed!

First time at The Outer Banks
We had a great trip to Nags Head in November 2021.Island Time was just perfect for us. The floor plan is very convenient for a large family. The location is great. It is right across the street from the Nags Head pier with easy beach access. It is close to stores and restaurants. The furniture is very comfortable. The mattresses all seem new. Some were more firm than others but all were comfortable. We were glad we could bring our dog and we saw no sign of previous pets - no fur, no mess.
A previous review said there was no outdoor furniture on decks or near the pool. This has been addressed. There were plenty of outdoor chairs and tables. We enjoyed our stay at Island Time.

Rental was clean and location was good. Pool area was most amazing part of the entire rental. Take your own pots and pans if you plan to cook - kitchen not well stocked. House could use some TLC but can't beat the beach access which is most important part of any OBX stay

Great location. House needs some TLC. New mattresses needed. They replaced one after we reported springs poking through. Other furniture and appliances need replacing. Overall, we loved the house and would stay here again if the mattress's were replaced.

Bliss at Island Time
The cleanliness of Island Time made this OCDer oh so happy! We felt so at home here, four-legged family members included.
Despite cooler temperatures and some rain our stay was lovely. Even a gas shortage didn't get us down. Proximity to the beach, restaurants, and stores meant we didn't have to venture far or even drive unless we wanted to. We got Acai bowls from The Spot practically daily :)
When I needed assistance with a few minor issues, staff were responsive and very helpful. I couldn't have asked for more.

Vacation stay at Island Time
It is a very nice house though it could use a little TLC. The kitchen could be stocked better and with items that were in better condition including fry pans, etc...
The house has nice decks throughout but there were NO chairs/furniture on any of them except the very top deck that had 2 chairs. The pool area had only 2 plastic lounge chairs and one broken stackable chair and we had 10 people. Called the realty company and received 2 more chairs. But nicer furniture by the pool would go a long way. It is a nice house but really just needs some updating and TLC. We did have a wonderful vacation with gorgeous weather.

Family October trip
We try to stay here every year. It is a great location for our needs, our age group is from 4 to 64, so we don't need to travel very far to keep all happy. The property is well maintained and clean.

I needed a lot of "Island Time"
The house was very roomy and had the extra pack and play, a high chair, and roll away as described. The house was pet friendly but did not have any odors. We spent the nights playing games. The poker table was a big hit. The downstairs game room was used as my daughter's "apartment" because she had a one year old and 2 year old. The pool was very clean. Would rent it again.

Location can’t be beat !
This home is right across the street from the Nags Head Fishing Pier. From the top floor, you can see the flag and check the wind conditions on the pier. The best restaurants in Nags Head are within walking distance. We enjoyed the Lucky 12 Tavern, Tortuga’s Lie, and the giant oysters at the restaurant at the pier. The home is comfortable and roomy, and the new couch upstairs is nice and cozy. We experienced some chilly days during our stay (mid-May), and everyone appreciated the heated pool! Loved that grocery shopping and coffee shop was 5 minutes away by car. Also a short drive away is Kitty Hawk Kites, Jockeys Ridge, and our favorite shop, the Seagreen Gallery. Beach access is easy, and did I mention the location is amazing!

Good. Nice place. Several TV did not work (management company fixed, took time). Master Bedroom lamps broken (management company fixed, took time). Several other items were taken care of by management company. Overall it was due to the management company's wonderful and timeless effort to make things happen. There is no GRASS area fenced to allow our dog to do its business. all rock! Had to walk the dog in the front grass area every time to pee. Yes our miniature schnauzer is spoiled! We would consider this property again.

Our little Island stay

The location was great.
The location was great. We could not have been in a better place to see the fireworks off The Nags Head Pier. The cleanness could have been better. Room floors and showers could have been cleaner. There was an issue with ants around the kitchen sink. Furniture needs to be replaced on the third floor. Even with the few minor things I would stay there again.

Perfect fit for our extended family vacation.
Kids, grandkids , grandparents and dogs all found this beautiful house to be a perfect fit . Lots of brightly decorated spacious rooms with multiple balconies gave us the comfort and space needed.. Beach, restaurants , mini-golf and ice cream were conveniently within walking distances. Elevator, dog area , hot tub and pool were appreciated. Foos ball table was a life saver with keeping the kids busy too. We are so glad we chose this house. The grandkids ( and adults ) did not want to go home.

Beach Week With Our Family & Dog
The house was exactly as described and had a great central location. The kitchen amenities were exceptional with an abundance of Calphalon cookware, dishes, glasses, etc. It had everything we needed. The elevator was operational, but had no light. It was finally fixed on Friday. All of the mattresses were less firm than we prefer, but we slept ok. The pool and hot tub were terrific & we loved being able to bring our dog!

We stayed at Island Time 1114 in Nag's Head, the house was perfect for us, four couples traveling together. We had a slight issue with the gas fireplace, made one call and someone was sent right away to take care of it. The pool and hot tub were also nice. We would definitely recommend this property.

60th Birthday Celebration

Miller Family Vacation
We love the location of this house, the elevator and the pool. It's a great set up for our family. The house is in need of some repairs and updating. Sliding doors and very difficult to slide, there was a leak dripping into one of the mid level bathrooms. Living room couch is worn out and not comfortable. Television/cable was hard to figure out.

Great Stay!
Just across the road from Nags Head Pier. It's very close to attractions. Dog area was great and very convenient.

Happy Dog Days III
We had a fabulous time! Location was great, right across from a beach access, great restaurants within walking distance and the Nags Head fishing pier/restaurant and tiki bar just across the street. We were there July 4th and had a prime view of the fireworks.

Happy Dog Days III were Happy!
We had a marvelous time! Love the house, love the location, all was amazing except for the pool maintenance. After several bad storms, the pool turned green but despite us repeatedly calling, no one came to fix it. It was towards the end of the week so it was ok for us but I felt bad for the next family that had to come in to a green pool.

Relaxing Home Away From Home
This property provides you with everything your family needs for a relaxing fun filled beach vacation at the Outer Banks. It was clean and comfortable. The beach access was very convenient and the beach was beautiful. The pool was a great way to cool off at the end of the day. It is conveniently located to many grocery stores, restaurants, poinra od interest and entertainment.

Happy Dog Days Indeed!!!
We had a little trouble getting into the house but that was because there were two keypad locks on the house, we were trying to use the wrong one for the first 20 minutes. Eventually one of my group walked around the house and found the sliding glass door was left unlocked. Once instead we found the door we were supposed to be using (side door next to parking area rather than the front door). Management company was very responsive trying to help us figure it out albeit a little confused when I explained the keypad we were trying to use.
The house was in very good condition with some minor issues here and there (small tear on comforter, couple throw pillows had holes in them, the surround sound system had only two speakers wired improperly (me being a tech head I rewired 4 of the 5 speakers so they were working properly, the rear right speaker has a broken connection at the speaker and we did not attempt fixing it), the downstairs door latch was severely damaged so I used an old carpenters trick and tightened it up a bit (I work in home repair and tend to be a do it yourself kind of guy) but it really should be fixed properly by the owner (deadbolt works fine, its the handle latch that has the issue so security is not a problem just more or less peace of mind). I reported multiple other issues but there were all minor and truly did not diminish our experience at the house. My entire group is a laid back bunch, it would have taken quite a bit to throw us off our vacation game.
The location is nice and has very easy access to the beach. Pool was awesome and the hot tub got lots of use! There is a great restaurant called Lucky 12 Tavern half a block away, amazing pizza and good drink selection.
To the owners, thank you so much for sharing your house with us! My family, friends and our pups loved our stay. We did everything under the sun (and in the rain) with Happy Dog Days III as our home away from home. Truly a vacation to remembe
