Our family had a great time at the Green House.

When I first walked into this house, I was shocked that the furniture was so 1960's. The kitchen had been remodeled, but some cabinet's laminate was coming off. It ended up being one of the most relaxing vacations we've have ever had. My son pointed out that the house and furniture were not so pristine that it made you uncomfortable. We loved the screened-in back porch and the pool. The property only had one neighbor, two snakes and occasional golfers looking for their lost balls in the woods behind the pool.

Overall the weather was not the best, but we made the best of it! This home was a great vacation home, and I would definitely stay again. The previous renters left a mess at the pool but other than that nothing but good things to say about the house and our stay.

Love the layout of this house, the pool and screened in porch. Placement of the dishwasher was weird and inconvenient but no biggie....just wanted to mention that because it was super weird I had to unload the dishes on the counter, close the dishwasher, and then put everything away from the counter. Other than that it’s a really great house!

The rental was perfect for our family the only thing is please get a new grill. The grill burners were completely corroded. We couldn't grill so we had to use the oven or a small charcoal grill to cook which doesn't help with a bigger family. The screen porch was great.will most likely rent this place again

The house was not as close to the beach advertised. A few things need to be updated like the grill, toaster and washing machine.The kitchen was well stock with dishes, pots, pans and utensils. The pool was really nice and there were beach chairs and sand toys to use. The house is very close to many shops and places to eat.

The vacation home was perfect for our family. We had six adults and a 2 year old. The house was very well maintained and was perfect size for us. It was only a quick bike ride to the beach and is close to almost everything you need. Would highly recommend.

The house has a great outdoor area. The screen porch was one of the best features along with the pool. Great for families with or without kids. The inside could be updated but functional. The layout gives privacy for everyone. The kitchen and bathrooms have been renovated and looks good. I would stay there again.

The house had plenty of open space in the great room. We liked the bedrooms with bath on opposite ends of the house for more privacy. The screened porch and pool area allowed for a choice of places to relax. The house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood.

Nice house...Grandkids loved the pool and searching the rear of the property for wayward golf balls. Loved the screened in rear deck....pictures on the reality website didn't give it justice. Very clean upon arrival. The only negative was having to wait until late afternoon to check-in, but appears that is the standard check in time.

We had a great vacation. We picked this house for the pool. We usually rent homes walking distance to the ocean, but decided this year with COVID, staying closer to the house was a better option. So, we chose this house for its pool. The outdoor space is awesome. The pool is isolated off from the neighbors to make it our own little oasis. It has lights that kept the pool well lit for evening swimming with the kids. The interior is very dated. Think Brady Bunch at the beach with Cooper and orange beach decor. The mattresses sleep horrible. If the owners would invest in a bed in a box memory mattresses that can be placed on top of the existing boxsprings - it would help tremendously. As it was, we were all waking up moaning and groaning every morning with back aches. Otherwise, this is a good option. The washer and dryer is in the garage. We had to carry our wash through the front door to access the washer. There is a very narrow, twisting staircase but except for the kids - none of us felt safe maneuvering them esp. with your arms full of clothing!

The house was wonderful. Everything was clean and comfortable. We loved the peace and quiet as well as the seclusion the property provided.

This was our 5th annual trip and one of the best places we've stayed out. It met all our needs from having private pool, allowing our dog, and being close to stores.

The green house is a wonderful little home! Loved the open floor plan and the sliding doors in the bedrooms where you can sit and enjoy the outside. Nice pool and screened in back deck.

Nice quiet location. Pet friendly rental

This is our second time staying at the green house. Great house. Pool is big and clean. Tucked away and secluded yet 3 minute drive to the beach. The house could be cleaner. There were starburst wrappers all over, but not the end of the world. Both our trips involved hurricanes but we were lucky and everything went well. We would stay here again

If I was rating the property on the pool and back deck only it would be 5 stars all the way and then some. I knew this was an older home and was prepared for dated décor. I was not expecting brand new or 5 star but I did expect furnishings in good repair and comfortable. The living room furniture and master bedroom mattress are well past their prime. We loved the location.

This home was great, all of my family really enjoyed it. Nice pool, backed up to a golf course. Quiet location. I would highly recommend this property to families.

The house was everything we needed. Secluded yet close to everything necessary. The pool was excellent. The front and rear deck were recently redone and it is beautiful. My only complaint was the company themselves. When checking in, the person helping me stopped to count on her hands how old I was. I'm 24 which is the house requirement. No one cared how old I was when cashing my check. Overall great house, would stay again.

We had another great vacation at our favorite beach with family and friends! The house looks great with a lot of new improvements ! Love , love the back porch and as always the pool!

We've been to the beach a few times but never to the Outer Banks until this year and i have to say for all my family that went with us. We Loved it. The house we stayed in (The Green House in Kitty Hawk ) was just perfect. Everything so clean and nice. The pool was kept very clean for when we got there and also we got discounts to the water park thanks to the rental company ( Beach Realty ) something that you probably cant get in a hotel or other places . so yes i definetly recomend it to anybody . i will be going again next year for sure . ☺☺☺������������

The Green House was perfect for my family. It was clean and well equipped. The pool was well kept. The neighborhood seemed residential and quiet. There was plenty of space for privacy and plenty of room for family togetherness. We loved the home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at the Green House. The pool is such a nice feature and provided us hours of relaxation. The property is also pet friendly which allowed us to bring our two dogs with us on vacation. This is our second stay at this property and were definitely impressed with the improvements they have made from last year!

Loved the pool,a/c was great and ceiling fans. It could have been a little more cleaner. It needs a new refrigerator and some updating paint,and decor.

Really a great vacation house with a wonderful pool. This was our 4th year at this same house and I just booked it again for next year.We will take advantage of the early check -in this next year though and start our time at the beach as early as possible.

House is very nice. Area is very quiet. It is centrally located to the beach and shops.

We were very pleased with our stay at The Green House (BTW - it isn't green, but belongs to the Greens!) The neighborhood was quiet, the house was clean and laid out perfectly for our group. There was plenty of seating, inside and outside. The pool was perfect for the kids and adults. We had hoped to be closer to the beach. But as it worked out, we were right where we wanted to be. Really hated to leave!

Over all, it was very nice. Great weather. Nice place. You could tell that they have done some work to it on the inside, but the outside was a little rundown.
