Great House
A great house. The house is equipped better than any other place we have stayed at. I hope there are no maintenance issues, the rental company will not resolve them.

Gone With The Wind rental review
We had a great time with our whole family (7 adults & 2 kids), plenty of room. The kids liked the play area under the house and the pool. It was a short walk to the beach and not far from Duck and Corolla. Plenty of fun things to do.
The house was nice and fairly well maintained. Loved the covered decks but they need to fix the loose boards. Bathrooms were good but could use some upgrades. The fan in the upstairs bathroom needs to be fixed and a screen put in the window. We don't expect a rental proper

Three family vacation
The house was awesome. Plenty of room for the family. The kitchen was very well stocked and the beds comfortable. The teens really enjoyed the Foosball. The walk to the beach was easy except Grandma may need help to cross the dune. Beach was very nice. The pool was clean and warm. Enjoyed every minute.

Great stay at a lovely home
I stayed here for a lovely week with my husband and 2 year old. We got lots of beach and pool time in, and made good use of the play area and toys provided. The house was very clean but I wished the outside had been a bit better. Lots of pollen / debris in the pool area and under deck play area had spider webs, dust, and pollen coating everything before we cleaned it off.

Good home
The house is perfect for kids with the pool and sand play underneath! All resturants had several hour waits around dinner, other than that it was a good area. The beach wasn't very busy either since it's secluded to the houses!

Summer Retreat
Our entire family joined us in the Outer Banks. We have perfect weather and very much enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and ocean. The house suited our needs perfectly. We enjoyed all the deck seating and the large well equipped kitchen. A bonus was the large variety of pool and beach items available. We used them all including bikes and wagons.

Top of the lot. Great Family place
With many years of experience renting in Duck and Corolla, this hhouse was the best equipped ever. We were a family of 6 adults and 3 young children. The playground at the garage level was a treat with swings, slide, etc. The amount of beach equipment was huge. The kitchen had everything and then some. On top pf this, the house is in excellent shape. The walk to the beach is about 275 years. The drive to Duck is 5 minutes.

SPRING BREAK STAY AT GONE WITH THE WIND
This is our first time staying in Duck NC. We usually vacation farther south. We have been converted!! Duck is the place to stay and this home was perfect for our large family. Plenty of room for everyone. Very spacious and within a bike's ride to downtown Duck. We would definitely choose this home for future vacations.

Beautiful Stay!
House was clean, great pool and a short walk to the beach. Numerous beach chairs, beach cart, bikes and sand toys. Great for a family.

Great location and spacious house.
We were a family of 13 staying at this location. The house is very spacious, especially the kitchen, living room and dining room. Kitchen is well equipped with dishes and gadgets. House was very clean when we arrived. Hot tub was not working and took a few days for the repairs to be done. The exterior back of house should have been power washed prior to the rental. Overall very pleased.

Our stay was great. The house was close to the beach with a private walkway and close to the shops in town. It was perfect for the kids with the little play area stocked with toys and the pool. They had everything you needed for the beach and my husband was thrilled with the fishing cooler as well. The only negative was that this house was not clean, there was no way any cleaning service came in to even check on it. There were water bowls left out and dog hair everywhere, and some random socks. A Wonderful Visit to OBX!
The house was beautiful and super close to the beach, and we arrived to a welcoming note from the new owners as of December 2020. The photos need to be updated to include the hot tub (which was great!) and the old grill is gone and replaced with both a gas and a charcoal grill. In addition to a Keurig, there was also a Mr. Coffee machine. There were blenders, and basically anything you would need in a kitchen for baking or cooking. We definitely brought way too much with us!

Summer vacation
We had a wond erful stay at Gone with the Wind. It was a very nice place to stay. We loved the pool and jacuzzi. It was clean when we got there. The beach was a short walk down the street. There were shops about 10 minutes away that had a variety of stuff. We loved the house and had no problems with it. It was spacious and the table fit at least 10 which was wonderful as we had 12 of us. There was room for around 20 with the bar stools in the kitchen.
