Hammer Family September vacation
We enjoyed our stay for the 3rd year in a row and have rebooked for next year. There was more discussion this year as the price is getting very high. We love the Nags Head area and the house fits us very well. We especially like being able to bring our dogs as they enjoy the beach as much as we do.

Great house for families with young kids!
We really enjoyed our stay here! Though it is an older home, it had every amenity we needed and the layout in particular was perfect for us with 3 small families and young children (fewer stairs, a bathroom for every bedroom, and the back TV room that functioned as their play room). The pool and direct beach access across the street were huge added perks, and we noticed this area around MP16 made for far fewer crowds on the beach too. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was spacious and the kitchen well stocked. The management company responded quickly to request for pest control, rescreening of screen porch door, and burnt out lightbulbs. The pool, hot tub, and quick walk to beach were enjoyed by all. I don’t think anyone found the need to watch TV! Would recommend the horseback riding, kayaking for families with teens.

Loved the set up of the house. It's perfect for multiple families. Loved having king sized beds in the rooms and how each bedroom had it's own bathroom! My only complaint would be that the furniture needs updating. The couches and chairs were old and not very comfortable to lounge around on after a long day on the beach.

We were overall very happy with the stay! This was the PERFECT house for 5 couples as every room had its own bathroom (amazing!). The pool and hot tub were excellent. Our only concerns were the linens were lacking (a few beds were only provided top sheets and NO mattress cover. We also had concerns with the draining of one of the baths. We did have a few kids with us and the stairs are way to wide for a baby gate which was unfortunate. Otherwise - zero concerns. Kitchen was well equipped. Would recommend to couples!

Great stay!
This is our second year staying here and we love the location and the amenities of the house. Easy check in and easy / quick communication with rental agency. This house was great for our family! We had eight adults and two small children and everyone had their own room and bathroom. We really enjoyed the pool and pool table and large kitchen table for eating and playing games. The beach access is really close and convenient and the beach wasn’t crowded. Stayed last week of April and got beautiful sunny weather as per name! Clean and convenient to restaurants and groceries. TV was a bit on challenge at first, but then figured out to use Hulu. Only other minor thing was no garbage disposal. Ocean too cold in April but will come back again in August. Cheers!

Amazing amount of space and literally across the street from the ocean and the sound. Very close to shops and many sight seeing places. Loved the hot tub and game room. The kitchen is well stocked and we really liked having a bathroom attached to each bedroom. We had an issue with one of he bedrooms doorknobs but the owner fixed it immediately no problem. The upper deck was wonderful because you can see amazing sunsets and sunrises. Absolutely gorgeous. Be sure to bring your own beach chairs and fishing gear. We hope to visit again in the future.

Fall into Fun N' Sun
This was our 3rd stay at Fun N' Sun, but our first in the fall and our first since 2015! We had a great time and had great weather for all but one day. Fun N' Sun continues to be our favorite house in OBX. It's somewhat unassuming and maybe doesn't look like a classic beach house from the outside. But, the 5 masters plus a den that also has an attached bath mean you can sleep a large family more comfortably at a much more reasonable price than other houses. In addition, everyone loves the access to the pool, hot tub, and pool table. Finally, the beach access directly across the street makes quick fall trips, that might not last long if it's chilly, perfectly doable!

I took a vacation in mid October with 6 other friends and had a great time! The weather was permitting and the house was awesome! We had a great time and would totally book this place again. Just a few minor things with the house that I would fix but all in all, it was a good choice.

Disrupted by Dorian
House was awesome and we wish we could have enjoyed it longer but our trip was disrupted by hurricane Dorian. We were only there than 42 hours because of the mandatory evacuation. We made the most of it and enjoyed what time we had. Plenty of room with everything needed to have a wonderful vacation. Loved the rec room with wet bar and full size refrigerator. Hope to rent same house again.

The beach access was great, pool larger than most, and the location was close to grocery stores, There was a bathroom for each bedroom and the linens were provided and beds were already made when we arrived:). The kitchen was well stocked and there were only two flights of stairs to climb. The pool table was a hit with the kids!

Wonderful Ammenities
We have been vacationing in Nags Head since the late 70’s. This was by far our favorite house we have ever rented. From the direct access across the street to the more “knee friendly” public access right up the street it met our beach needs. We loved the pool, hot tub and pool table and the view of the sound from the crow’s nest was beautiful. The lay out of the house with bedroom suites both up and downstairs was perfect. We especially likes the two refrigerators and all of the bathrooms.If we can get our schedules synchronized we hope to come back next year.

OBX Seafood Festival Weekend
Perfect location for OBX Seafood Festival weekend! A sort walk, no shuttles or parking necessary. Great house to multiple adult couples. Hot tub temperature and location was perfect for the rainy, chilly fall weather we had one day. Checkin using the Hospitality app was easy!

Great house, great location!
We had a fantastic time at this house! It's spacious, and we loved the rec room and pool table. There were 8 adults and a baby in the house and we didn't feel cramped. The private beach access right across the street was convenient, and there were a ton of restaurants just a few minutes away. I had an issue with a running toilet that the management took care of right away, and even though it appeared to "fix itself", the maintenance person still came by to check to make sure it was working 100%. The property management was responsive and very helpful. We loved the private pool and having our dogs with us on vacation. I highly recommend this house!

Best Vaca Ever
The home was spacious, clean, and tidy. Loved the pool table downstairs and the private swimming pool as well. The walk to the beach was pleasantly shorter than we thought. Also, my boyfriend and I got engaged on Friday, September 21 watching the sunrise. Perfect stay!

We rented the same house this summer we had for last summer. We did our original booking on line very easily but went to the rental agency last summer to put a deposit on this house for summer 2018. This was our interaction with the staff but they were very helpful. I also needed to call to update credit card info because I wasn’t able to do it on the website. I also like that they called to make sure we had our door code.

Amazing Getaway
Everything about the house was extremely clean, and well maintained. Pretty much had bathrooms in every room (though some bedrooms shared a bathroom on each floor). The rooftop balcony was perfect for chilling at night and watching the sunrise/sunset. Parking lot can fit up to 6 normal sized cars which was perfect. It was only a block away from the beach and more or less on a not-so-busy street so it was easy to get in and out! Just around the block was the main street to get to the rest of Nags Head. The hot tub and pool were perfect for relaxing when it was too hot outside or great for BBQ'ing and chilling at night. I would definitely go back!

The week started rough with Hurricane Maria impacting the weather but ended with beautiful weather. House was wonderful as usual with no complaints. This is our second visit to this house and is a great house for a fair price. We hope to visit the area again in the future and will certainly consider Fun 'N Sun when we are looking for a home to rent.

This was our family's 2nd time vacationing in this house, and once again it was a great time. The house itself is in good shape, plenty of bedrooms with a bathroom in every room, an added bonus. The views of the sound and the ocean from the crow's nest are amazing, and not to forget the pool and hot tub in the back. All in all, this house has everything you could ask for - the owners seem to have thought of every little need you would have while away from home. Highly recommend this house for a relaxing beach vacation.

Home Away From Home
We love the keyless entry so we can get in on arrival and all the beds being made and towels for everyone. It's nice not to have to bring these things or have to make beds. The home is so comfortable and has everything you could need. The beach access is right across Beach Road. We reserved this same week for next year we liked the house so much.

Our family's first time on OBX. Price was right and location was fabulous. Kitchen well equipped with one exception - only one frying pan for 10-12 people. Basement had musty smell. Otherwise very clean and well equipped.

Our first vacation as a family
11 people were comfortable for one week at this vacation home (6 adults, 2 children, a toddler and 2 babies). Having a bathroom for each bedroom was very nice. The pool and hot tub was nice for the adults during the babies nap times after being at the beach all morning. We thought we had a problem on our first day when we discovered our grill was broken. But before we could make the call to beach realty, a new grill was being put in our backyard. Thank you for a good experience. We will be back next year.

Fun N Sun rental

Family vacation--1st time in Nags Head for many of us.
We were very pleased with the house and the many features offered. Unfortunately, I was too late in requesting an early check-in and will know to do so in the future. We very much enjoyed the pool and game room each day. After spending time on the beach we came back to the house to swim and get dinner started. The number of bedrooms/bathrooms was ideal for our group. We liked the location--not crowded. I called on Monday morning with some issues and the owner came quickly to resolve the two most important. We didn't go out much but two of our group went to Millers for lunch and a few of us went to the Dunes for Dinner and breakfast. I would recommend both. We were able to sit down and eat our meals together.

A great stay!
A great location, a lovely home, direct access to the beach, and seven days of enjoyment, describes our vacation here. A Sunday check-in (express check-in) is much better than Saturday with less traffic and hassle of getting into the area and into the house. The house was well equipped, nicely appointed, and laid out nicely. The pool was a nice size and a welcome reprieve after a chilly ocean. The only rainy day proved the pool table could use refurbishing but other than that, there was plenty to occupy both kids and adults. The beach was close and inviting, some of us even swam very close to dolphins chasing a school of fish and watching the Pelicans fishing was very entertaining.

Sunday check in is a great option for trying to stay out of the busiest traffic time. This home is in a great Nags Head location with so many things to do! The nature and wildlife of the Outer Banks is a reason so many guests come back year after year, we are so happy you got to experience it! I will pass along the information about the pool table.

History Group Trip to See Lighthouses
We had four couples for a long weekend in October, and found the house to be an excellent choice. We all had our rooms with private bath. A must for us.
The spaces worked well for our group. The house is remarkably well insulated between rooms for noise. There is some traffic sound, amd outdoor noises do penetrate, but the inside is really nice.
We single handedly defeated hurricane Joaquin, had a beautiful sunny Saturday, and enjoyed our stay.

This was our first vacation as a family with parents, children, and grandchildren. This was the perfect house and location for our vacation. The house had everything we could ask for. The Best Vacation Home Ever
