Rental was wonderful the property was in great shape and the house was well kept. Mattresses were a little worn but comfortable.

The home was spacious and had great amenities. However, updates are needed for flooring and locks on sliding patios, one patio door in a bedroom was very loose from the frame.

This house was a nice short walk to the beach. Very quaint and we felt like we were at home. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone. Really liked the view out of the kitchen windows, you could see the ocean while you're cooking dinner.

Eagle Quay had a fully stocked kitchen with every utensil to make gourmet meals.
Tranquil location, beautiful views from Crows Nest, hot tub for relaxing. More than enough sleeping quarters for 15. Linens furnished, washer & dryer, dishwasher of course.. Child& dog friendly. Only wished for a small fenced in area., since backs up to a creek, good area for it. Could be better some updates & larger screen TV.
Location was great , short walk to ocean and beautiful pool. Amazing how Corolla has developed boutiques & grocery stores. Could use a few more restaurants.
But considering location, Corolla is surprising with its cleanliness, amenities it’s a 10 , compared to Nags Head (5) overdone tourists!

The home offered what we needed. It was clean and a nice distance to the beach. The grill was not useable which was disappointing but we did ok without it.

Planned a vacation for two weeks to reconnect with my adult children (we vacationed regularly on the banks until 2000) and got a pet friendly house oceanside. It was nice. There were six of us and we weren't crowded. The community pool was a nice surprise for me, and I swam laps every morn. A nearby restaurant that was surprisingly good: Urban Kitchen. We played in the surf everyday too.

Location - about a 5 min walk to the beach. Anyone not familiar with Corolla beaches, beware. You have to climb about 25 steps on a wooden boardwalk to get over the dunes to the beach. It is quite the feat when you have 4 small children and a big beach cart. It is extremely difficult to get your beach cart down to the sand, so we opted not to bring it subsequent visits. Beautiful beach, but definitely a work out to get there. The beaches are not like that where I am from, so I was surprised by this.

It is about a 5 min walk to the pool. The pool is big and clean, and there is a separate children's pool. I definitely recommend.

Outside the House: There may be games outside, but don't expect to use them unless you want to be eaten alive by mosquitoes. There was a swampy area behind the house so I am not exaggerating when I say there were hundreds of mosquitoes around the house. Not the fault of the owners, but just a heads-up to future renters. Also, there was a charcoal grill on the property (not on the listing and when I called the rental agency, I was told there was no grill, but there was) and my brother was eaten alive by the mosquitoes when he grilled the one night. It was actually pretty funny to everyone else inside the house.

Inside the House: very big and pretty clean. We did have an ant outbreak in the kitchen about 3 days in, but we moved the food and cleaned the area and didn't seem to have a problem later on. I didn't contact the rental agency about the ants because we had a refrigerator issue earlier in the week (the fridge took over 2 days to actually get cold) and that took forever to resolve. The kitchen is well stocked with almost anything you'd need. The microwave is probably older than me, but it worked. Also, no kcup machine.

The house needs a bit of updating. The windows are rotting and some water damage on ceiling but that happens in that area.

The house was great. The location was perfect. We would stay there again. The house was very clean. My only complaint would be not having a shower on the top floor. There were 12 of us in the house using 2 showers (3 if you include the outdoor shower). However, we made it work and had a great vacation. It would not stop us from staying in the house again. The house is located 5 minutes from the grocery store, gift shops and restaurants. It was very close to the ocean too. You could not beat the location. The community pool and tennis courts were awesome too.

My stay was great, but there was a smell that was in the house like something dead. I tried to keep from calling to complain to the reality company. I opened all doors, windows to try to let the smell out. did not work. called on a Monday sent 2 different people out then on Tuesday sent a plumber because they thought maybe sewer he was not sure, plumber came back out on Wednesday morning the plumber was positive it was not sewer that it was something dead, then they sent someone out that evening to get what ever it was out of the wall. Then Friday the day before we were departing all toilets started stomping up we had to plunge every toilte in the home. But other than that my stay was great.

This was our family vacation so we needed a house with at least five bedrooms and this fit the bill. The beach access was fairly close as was the pool. The house also had a hot tub which was an added bonus. The house looked well cared for and was in good condition. There was enough space for everyone to sit at the table for meals and to sit in the living area when we were all together.
The house had a lot of things you need to take to the beach and plenty of sand toys for the kids and adults. I don't think we really used a lot of what we brought except for some chairs and a beach cabana/ umbrella.
The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need which was wonderful. Everyone seemed to like their beds and bathrooms. The only bathroom where there was a problem was the upstairs bathroom. It was a little small and it had a jacuzzi tub with a shower head on the side. There was not a separate shower and it was a little hard getting in and out just to get a shower.
Over all we really enjoyed the house and would stay there again.

This home was perfect for our specific needs. The layout was great and was spacious enough for the 7 of us with our dogs. Could definitely have gotten a few more people in no problem. It had the perfect amount of seclusion while being close to the beach. The walk was a little more than we are used to. We usually stay semi-oceanfront, but for the price you are getting a lot.

We have stayed in Eagle Quay 4 other times and have always enjoyed it. Plenty of space for our entire family. Love the big kitchen and the ping-pong table outside.

We have stayed in a few different rentals there. This house by far had the best stocked kitchen! The house is well maintained and we spent a ton of time enjoying the many decks and board games! We were slightly disappointed with the hot tub, but I think all of us still had an amazing vacation.

Love the design of the house. Newly painted decks. Needs new deck chairs and tables. Took occupancy early, house was clean. Kitchen fully equipped. Stayed 2 yrs in a row and considering another year.

The house was great for all 13 people in our group. Plenty of space and close to everything. Can't wait to visit again!

My family and I had a wonderful time. The house is a short distance to the beach. The house is also spacious and very equipped. But, it has not been maintained. Blinds broken, Sliding doors don't lock and broken. Non-the-less we had an enjoyable time.

Just terrific! The house is perfect for our family. We love the quiet street and short walk to the beach. Access to the community pool is really fun for an end of the day dip for our young grandchildren. Thank younger sharing your home with our family.

We have stayed in this vacation rental home twice before and really enjoyed it. Its nothing fancy but works well for our family. We love the access to the awesome community pool and the short walk to the beach access.
