Perfect single family beach house
Duck Dazed is the perfect little beach house for just us, the kids and the dog. Great location, beach access just down the street with lifeguard stand. Short drive or bike ride into Duck town, easy drive north into Corolla as well. House is well kept, kitchen has everything you need to cook, although there is not a lot of available cabinet space for food storage. Porches are great place to sit, especially the crows nest.

The property was clean and well kept. The location was excellent. A nice stroll to the beach with access right at the end of the street. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The bathrooms were a little cramped but that's not why we go on vacation. Overall had a great time and would stay here again. Getting in and out of duck at peak time takes patience so keep that in mind

We had a great week at Duck Dazed. Very convenient to beach access. Well stocked kitchen. Only complaint is that the realty company did not respond to a question regarding the use of the beach cart. Highly recommend Duck Dazed!

We had a really wonderful stay at this beach house. It was super clean and seemed recently updated. A really easy walk to the beach, lots of fun stuff on site (corn hole, badminton, etc). The hot tub was great. It fit our group of 4 adults and 3 kids really well. Would highly recommend!

perfect location!
first time in OBX and I couldn't have been happier. House location was steps to the beach and close to town some places even close enough for a bike ride if your up to it. Clean house, layout perfect, kitchen well stocked for cooking. Had to contact rental company for a few things and they responded very quickly and had the minor issues fixed ex slow draining tub. Washer and dryer on site was very helpful. Washer broke during our stay and the next day we came home to a brand new unit- this was amazing and something we were not expecting since it was not an essential appliance. Would definitely return without a question and would defiantly recommend.

Great Beach Vacation!
We had a great vacation! The house was a good size for our group and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, etc. It was clean, except for the tub not draining (fixed with some drain cleaner). Duck Dazed had lots of extra activities to offer such as basketball, horseshoes, a hot tub and plenty of deck space. I especially loved the screened in porch. The house was in a great location to the beach, there was plenty of space for everyone, we even did some sand casting one afternoon. We spent one day at H2OBX where the kids had a great time. We enjoyed some great food at Captain George's, Treo and Barefoot Bernie's. The Escape Room was a great way to spend a hot Friday evening, and yes we got out with 7 minutes to spare. Great little house for a week of fun.

Great beach house
We had 15 people in our group. We also rented the house across the street called Bowen. Nine of us stayed in the duck daze and six across the street. Both properties are no more than a football field away from the beach. Both houses had everything we needed for cooking. We cooked every night. The hot tub‘s at both properties were just perfect. Both houses are ideal for people who want plenty of space and don’t want to share one massive house. The duck house has an awesome double outside shower underneath the house. We all love that very much. For the price you cannot go wrong with either one of these properties. Bowen had a little more square footage but other than that they are both identical to each other.The management company was very easy to work with. They answered questions via email or text very quickly.

Home Away From Home
This vacation rental was wonderful! It was the perfect place to spend much needed time with family. The staff ocean was a short walk away from the home. Everything you could possible need for a day at the ocean was provided at the house. A cart to wheel down to the beach, a beach tent, beach toys for the grandkids. The house was perfect. We purchased groceries at a local store and cooked on the grill every day. They had so many great outdoor games on the premises along with a relaxing hot tub! The kitchen had everything you could possible need to cook. There were so many great bike rental places nearby. My daughter and granddaughter enjoyed biking each day. We went the week a hurricane was expected to come and the management company did a wonderful job keeping us up to date with the weather situation. This made us feel at ease since they new the area and conditions. We will definitely be returning.

Wonderful Week
This was our second consecutive year at Duck Dazed. It's exactly what we hoped for - affordable, clean, close to the beach, and quiet. The property was in fantastic condition. The only bad part was leaving!

Great Beach Cottage!
The house was well equipped, had a great layout with rooms and bathrooms, and the decks were awesome. The AC worked fantastic, and the kitchen was wonderful to work in, I cooked in most nights. Location to the beach was a breeze, and convenient.

It's a good day to get married!
My (now wife) and I rented this house for us and our adult children for a week at the Outer Banks. We got married that Monday in Nags Head. The beach house was perfect. Neither she nor her children had been to the Outer Banks before. This house was clean, airy, had amenities, such as games, hot tub, etc.. that made it perfect after a day at the beach. Loved the fact that there was only carpet in the bedrooms, made sweeping out the sand easier.

Duck Dazed - A little slice of heaven!
From the moment I called to ask about available rentals, to the user-friendly website and throughout the stay I was thrilled about the service provided by Kitty Hawk rentals.
I needed a place that was pet-friendly and also provided close access to the beach. This was my first trip to the Outer Banks and I loved it.
I was worried that the listing would not be as described in the photos and to my surprise it exceeded my expectations!
Jane at the Kitty Hawk office was very friendly and helpful. I stopped by the office to inform them that I couldn't locate a working beach umbrella so they should note it for future reference. I was shocked, thrilled and grateful that within 24 hours one was delivered to the home - by the owner!
I look forward to returning.
