Our stay was Doggone Perfect
My family enjoyed our stay in this home. We had plenty of space to spread out but also were able to come together for some fun as well. The pool and hot tub were terrific. The yard was perfect for the dogs. The view was beautiful. We would love to come back and stay again in the future.

Amazing place for families ..and dogs!
The house was simply amazing. Surprisingly it looks better in person than it does in the pictures and the location is fantastic. Our family probably enjoyed walking 75 feet out to the sound and spending time in the water there than we did on the beach. The kids also loved the spa, the pool and the pool table and my wife and I really enjoyed having some drinks on the upper deck while enjoying watching the golfers go by (its a really fun golf course to play by the way) and then the amazing sunsets.
Hard to imagine a scenario where anyone could be disappointed in this wonderful gem of a home.

Great sounds ideal vacation house
We had a great 2 weeks at Doggone Perfect! One thing might need to be addressed is the back railing from the queen/ bunk room. It is very rough and very easy to get slivers. We also couldn't use the 2nd floor master, because the bed is so high. Other than that, a perfect 2 weeks! Pool and hot tub were great too! Soundside sunsets were gorgeous!

Perfect Weekend Getaway
Perfect weekend getaway for our extended family for my daughter’s wedding at Vista Creek. House was wonderful, plenty of room for my out of town family too. The best perk was not having to kennel my dog and grandpup at home.

It was Doggone Perfect!
The house was exactly what we were looking for. It was pet-friendly, with a fenced yard and plenty of places to walk our dogs. The location was easy to get in and out of from the bypass, and the views were spectacular.

Great Vacation
The first time we rented a house on the sound and found it a totally different experience than renting a house on the ocean beach. Plan on renting the house again next year.

Wonderful Location
The location is wonderful with amazing views from the deck and easy access to the sound. The neighborhood was quiet, and people were friendly. We enjoyed a day trip up to Corolla and another down to Hatteras. A 10-minute drive over to Manteo was also a nice treat. We are looking forward to our next stay!

Most relaxing winter vacation ever! It’s located in a very quiet golf community on the sound side. The sound views from the sectional sofa and upper level were gorgeous. We’ll stocked kitchen and there are bathrooms attached to every bedroom.

The house suited us just fine but there are some things that renters should know. If your dog can't manage circular stairs (as mine could not), the only way to access the fenced yard is from two of the five bedrooms, or to go out the front door, down the front steps and then walk around back. I had hoped to use one of the two bedrooms with a fireplace and that turned out to not be an option for me.
That said, the fireplaces didn't work out for my guests who did have those rooms. One fireplace was too loud (a noisy fan) and one simply didn't work. Maintenance came right away for this and another issue that they quickly resolved. I was pleased with maintenance response.
We were eight adults. The living area was a little tight when we were all there and we often had to bring in an extra chair or two from another part of the house on those occasions.
But what a lot of great memories we built over the week! It was truly a great winter beach getaway.

great family bonding
we all enjoyed our stay and have booked same week for next year. my only suggestions, gas grill, we had to go buy one because grill there was in terrible shape. your cleaning ladies need to clean under beds and furniture! It was filthy with dog hair white , not my dog who is black!! I ended up cleaning my room before I settled in for week along with other bedrooms!!

Great vacation, this house is definitely dog-gone perfect!
The house is unique, it was an ok size for 5 adults, any more than that is a tight fit in the living room. The yard and pool were perfect. Heads up to any renters, the waterfalls in the pool must run, or it doesn’t filter. They were off when we arrived. The pool was cleaned during the week and pumps left on when we returned, so clean! The location was perfect, the bay was awesome for the dogs! Definitely would rent again. The house was clean except for all the dog hair under sofa, beds, tables! It would have been nice to have that swept up. We found out the hard way when the dogs would lose the ball under furniture.

Wonderful week overall!
Overall we enjoyed our stay at Doggone Perfect! In addition to my husband and I, two adult sons and their girlfriends, we were joined by three of our large dogs. We actually found the unusual glayout of the home and multiple stairs to be fun. The location on the sound and off of the golf course couldn’t have been better. We enjoyed many sunsets and played golf as much as possible. The home was beautifully decorated and the beds were comfortable. We spent many hours in the pool and much preferred it to the ocean even though the pool waterfalls were not working. Our only complaint was the housekeeping. There was a lot of hair and some garbage under furniture. The appliances and kitchen drawers were dirty/sticky. The garbage in the pool area was not emptied and smelled terrible. The prior occupants did not pick up after their dog(s) so there were many piles to pick up on the grass in the backyard. One tub drains was full of hair and had to be unclogged. In short, the housekeeping was a disappointment but the house itself and the location were awesome.

Beautiful Home with the BEST view!
We enjoyed our stay at Doggone Perfect. It was so relaxing. We got a workout with all the steps but we didn't mind at all. The pool and hot tub were awesome! We watched the golfers tee off while we drank our morning coffee on the deck. We will definitely return to this house!

Doggone Perfect Vacay!
Great stay at the Doggone Perfect house! Amazing accommodations! Couldn't have asked for a better pool/hot tub area set up.
The house is a little disjointed in trying to access the outside area (go through others' rooms to get outside) but minor concern for our crew.
The Beach Realty crew was extremely helpful and attentive when we experienced a slight issue.

Beautiful view, pool and property
House is beautiful and recently updated. It was very clean. We loved the view, pool area is very relaxing and private. Convenient location and quick drive to the beach if you went to leave. We also enjoyed the community dock. As others have mentioned, there are a lot of steps, which was fine for us but our senior dog struggled. You can’t see the pool from the house, which is fine but would be nice to see the kids while preparing meals. Overall, we loved the house and would return.

The property is beautiful, relaxed comfortable feel. We had a few minor maintenance issues that were resolved very quickly. The view is amazing. The pool is gorgeous. Very private even though you have neighbors.

Family vacation
The house was great. Right next to the sound with a wonderful view. We took full advantage of pool, hottub and gazebo. Public beach access/parking was only a minute or two away. The whole property was fenced in which was perfect for our dog. He roamed the yard freely while we were enjoying pool/outside area. Quiet and relaxing would best describe this home. We liked to “people watch” the golfers from the top deck every morning while sipping our coffee. There are quite a few flights of stairs. This wasn’t a problem for our group but helpful to know for anyone with physical limits. We would stay here again.

Pretty close to perfect
We really enjoyed it. Location is great, but took us all week to realize we could walk down to the pier in the community park and get to the sound from there. Deck is older, have to be careful of splinters. Pool is shaded by a tree, lovely but we did skim every morning to keep it clean. We had a wonderful relaxing time as did the dogs and we would stay again.

It was beautiful. Amazing landscaping and lovely home. Terrific view. The only compliant is those that are unable to climb stairs, as this could pose an issue. Otherwise, perfect!

Perfectly Charming
A gem located in a golf course community. Beautifully landscaped. Not handicapped friendly and lots of stairs. Beautiful view from the back deck and the pool area was extraordinary. Hope I am able to stay there again.
