Comfortable home away from home
De-Duck-Tible was a wonderful beach property that we enjoyed for 2 weeks this summer! It was a great home away from home for our beach stay. The location is great, 7 minute walk to the beach. The house is clean and well equipt. It is a little dated, but nothing was dirty or broken. IT's been well maintained.
We spent every morning and evening outside on the balconies enjoying the ocean breeze.The mini-fridge on the porch was great to have. The upstairs bedroom had twin beds making for an awkward Master, but it still suited our family fine.
We hope to return next summer!

Awesome Place!
We loved this house! We've stayed in many places up and down the OBX coast, and this was a very clean and well kept property compared to most. It is only a 5 min. walk to the beach, with private community access. Even during peak season, the beach was not overpopulated and packed.

Wonderful Week
We loved this little house so much that we had to reserve it for next year. The perfect size for my family. The house is bright and comfortable with a happy, peaceful vibe.

Quaint cottage between sound and ocean.
Enjoyed the cottage. Nice decor. Upstairs beds very squeaky. Nice view of sound. 10 minute walk to beach. Lots of decking to sit outside. Good size kitchen. Lots of cooking supplies. Would not return due to traffic. Had to empty charcoal from previous tenant. No grill brush to clean off grill. Have to reserve restaurants a week in advance or wait 2 hours for a table which is not practical with children. Probably a great place in early September without the crowds. Take your own beach wagon. Beach is beautiful.

Delightful DeDuckTible
Clean neat house. Easy walk to beach. 3rd floor door to screened porch needs some sort of latch to keep storm winds from blowing it open (during the night!). Overly equipped kitchen with good workability. Fish market and farmers market about a mile down the road have great fresh selections and good prices. House is very comfortable for family and friend (s). All in all, nice place to stay in Duck!

Nice pandemic getaway
Rented this cottage to have a get away to someplace different after going nowhere for 6 months. Plenty of space for a couple, as it was set up for 1-2 small families. Some decent views of the sound from the upper floor/deck. 5-minute walk to beach access. We appreciated getting notification early that the property was ready and having the keyless entry. No complaints except the bedsprings were pretty noisy and the toilets were low, might be OK for small kids but so much for older adults. Otherwise, it was very clean and well-equipped. We had no issues so not sure how Beach Realty would have responded but they did send an initial text to find out how things were going.

A Return to Duck
Very enjoyable week. Walked to beach everyday, added to my shell collection, missed seeing the ghost crabs��. Home was very comfortable & clean, a great time for a couple of seniors.

DeDucTible in Carolina Dunes
We love DeDucTible and have been coming here for years. Two decks porches on either side with a screened-in porch in the middle. Comfortable rooms and the location at Carolina Dunes can't be beat!

Great Time in Duck
This was our first time in the Outer Banks and it was a wonderful vacation! The staff was friendly and quick at check-in and check-out. The house was clean and had a great open area for our two families to hang out. It was about a 5 minute walk to the beach and a wagon was provided to haul everything there. If we go back next year we will definitely stay in the town of Duck again, despite the traffic on the weekends. It was beautiful and quaint, whereas, Kitty Hawk and Nags Head had a very commercial feel to them.
