Great location with just a few hiccups.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Outer Banks this summer and this property very much helped that experience. Close proximity to the beach, restaurants, and entertainment was a huge perk. The swimming pool and pool table were a delight to my family. Just a few things should be addressed...a lot of window blinds were damaged prior to our arrival, the hot tub ran too hot often and the temp button didn't seem to help, and a burner was out on the stove. The newer AC units worked wonderfully as it was 95 outside everyday! One last suggestion...correct the fire stick problem with the TVs. Most of the remotes didnt work with any fire stick.

The house was ok, some of the appliances could be updated. The dryer The clothes got hot on medium. Windows need curtains to keep the light from the plaza & some sunlight so you can sleep. Bottom fridge made noise. Mattresses on bed need changed out. Could use new couch & love seat. There's a fence around the pool, but a small tall fence needs put up on both side very annoying when people parks you get the headlights shining & people in line can see you practically if your in the hot tub. I liked how close to the beach it was. Would I rent this again, probably if it was all I could get .

Great Home!
We had a great time at this vacation home. It was close to pretty much everything and has a restaurant, ice cream shop, and a little “bar” right beside of it. The ice cream shop stayed pretty busy all day but didn’t really bother us. There is a fence around the pool but you can still hear people talking and socializing at the places next door. It wasn’t a problem to us!

We had a great week at this property, The only real complaint was the ice cream shop next door. We had no privacy while grilling as it was right next to the people trying to enjoy icecream, and so was the hot tub. People could see right into it, possibly a fence would help this situation. Overall was a great stay!

Clean, fun house
We had an amazing time while we stayed a week in this house! The house was very clean and had all that we needed in the kitchen. The walk to the beach was extremely short which was wonderful! There's a delicious ice cream place right next door which was great for a late night sweet treat. Definitely a place to stay again!

This house is in a great location - directly across the street from beach access road; ice cream stand right next door, a few restaurants in walking distance. House was perfect for us. Could use a few updates, but in good shape and clean. Kitchen could use some more supplies, pots, pans, bowls, etc.

We stayed during May. The weather was a bit cold but enjoyed the stay anyway. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean. Beside the house is a Cafe and ice cream shop, which was fun to have. The overall decor and furniture needs to be updated. The pool table is in pretty rough shape. The beds were comfortable.If you have any problems with physical movement this is not the place for you. I'm pretty young and the stairs were hard for me to climb over and over. The kitchen is on the top floor. There is a door to access the outside in every bedroom, which with young children made me nervous. The house is right next to the public beach access. The company kept me up to date on everything, through a app. Overall we had an amazing experience as a family. The little details did not interfere with my time there. Thank you

I stayed in this rental for a week with some family. I would recommend this rental. It’s close to the beach (walking distance). The pool was nice. The only downfall I would say is all the stairs. It’s hard for people with bad knees and back to climb all the stairs. Overall I was very satisfied with my stay.

Day Late was right on time for us!
We had a great time staying at Day Late. It was perfect for our family and friends. There was enough room for everyone to spread out and plenty for the children to do to keep them busy. The walk to the beach was easy and the outside hoses and shower were great for clean up when we got back to the house. We loved using the pool and hot tub at the end of the day. A couple of things for renters to know- the windows have blinds but no curtains. It gets bright VERY early and the children were unable to sleep past 6. The beds are VERY firm. Sheets are provided but you will want to bring your own pillows and blankets.

This was a great house. The location was great and had an easy walk to the beach. There is an awesome sandwhich shop right next door that we would get lunch from. The pool was great also. The beds were a little uncomfortable but the house was very clean when we arrived. Overall a great stay!

OBX vacation
The house was very sufficient for our needs. It was very clean, very nice furniture and very comfortable beds. A few maintenance problems the first 3 days but they were handled very efficiently by Ken of Beach Realty making the remaining stay very enjoyable.

The bedroom with the king bed had a broken mini blind laying on the dresser when we arrived. There were no other window coverings so the room was open and exposed to the house next door. It was immediately reported to the rental agency, but nothing was done to fix it. I was disappointed that there was no pool maintenance all week so the pool got quite dirty. The sofas in the living room are very old and uncomfortable and the glass top tables are not child friendly, very sharp corners. But the house is in a good location, and has great space.
