We had a nice stay, but one problem
The house was very nice and accomodated our large family well. We stayed a week and were able to take advantage of the many facilities in the community. Very close to shops in Duck, NC. However, one the first day (Monday) we reported several issues with the house. Called back on Wednesday. No one came out. One item was all the pool cues were damaged beyond repair. So, we drove to Kitty Hawk and purchased one so we could play pool. Left the cue so the next renter could at least play pool with one stick.

Great OBX Vacation
We just came back from a great vacation at Clearview by the Sea in Duck. The property accommodated our large multi generational family with ease and there was plenty of space for everyone. The description of the rental was very accurate. The house was a little dated, but very clean and functional. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need. We loved the location with a short walk to the beach or to town and with the great amenities in the Four Seasons community. I would definitely rent again and recommend for anyone hosting a large group in Duck.

Spring Break
This was the third year we rented this house. The house is located perfectly; three minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes to Duck. The house was clean when we arrived and stocked well. Overall we had a great stay, but a few things did not meet our expectations. Usually we have a starter gift bag from the management company waiting for us- this year there was none. When we went to use the hot tub for the first time, there was a 2 inch scum layer around the waterline of the hot tub. We reported and it did get cleaned before we left. The management company was incredibly responsive when we called or texted.

Family Reunion
Overall great house for the entire family, plenty of room. Great proximity to the beach. Smell of propane/gas from fireplace.

Due to the fireplaces not being used often when the pilot light is turned on for the first time it does tend to give off little smell of gas. Clearview by the Sea
Pool was a big hit. Kids, grandkids enjoyed walks to town. Golf cart is a worthwhile rental. House adequately accommodated our big crowd (18, including toddlers) Would stay here again.

Multi-Family Vacation
Location was great. The kitchen was well stocked but very unorganized. Stove was on upon arrival which seems crazy dangerous. Never had that happen in all of our years renting! Bathrooms were not very clean but we always bring a few cleaning supplies. Pool was not serviced during the week- we know because someone was always at the house as we traveled with a 2 month old. Overall still very nice and would stay again!

Family Reunion
We rented Clearview by the Sea and had our first extended family vacation. With my brother serving in the Navy, moving around the country and being on deployment, we never had the opportunity to bring our families all together. He is now retired, has 3 grown daughters and 2 grandsons. I have my 2 teen/preteen boys who have only met their cousins a handful of times. This was the perfect place for my parents to have their kids, grandkids and great-grandkids all in the same place. Thank you for a great vacation and family reunion.

Great Location - minor issues
We loved the location of the rental to both the beach access and the shops in downtown Duck. The house was a little dated in the furnishings. Everything was clean and operational. Pool furniture could have been a little better grade. The drip plates in the grill were rusted out and fallen on the burners. Could not lock the kitchen back door. There was a little mold in the third floor bathroom on the shower curtain and around the drain. I did clean it.

Lots of room!
Lots of stairs. The house has lots of space and windows. Windows sure nice until dinner time . Sun is right in your eyes would be nice to have shades. It would of been nice to have tables outside on deck to eat. The top king size bed was too hard. Having 2 dishwasher is nice with everybody here. The pool was perfect depth. The handrail needs some work. Too loose. It was nice having two outdoor showers which is great with all the kids. Location is close to beach and clubhouse and playground. We will stay here again.

Nice but Tired Home
We had a good time. The rental process went smoothly. The and the house had a large open top floor. Guests could move from the kitchen to the family sitting area and decks very easily. The Community is very nice and walkable to both the beach and village. That said, the house looked tired. It needed a fresh coat of paint inside. The deck and pool furniture were entry level; much lower quality than a renter would expect from the rental cost of this house. The rental property is good but not great for the price.

gorgeous house, wonderful amenities, overall satisfied with stay,reasons for 4 out of 5 stars are the grill was not in working order, thought it was an empty tank, called for new tank, it took 2 days to get it. Location was deceiving on the website, thought it closer to the beach, thought there was a beach view but there was not. Although the property was clean on the surface, it could use a deeper clean.

Great Family House
The house was great. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach. Pool and hot tub were great. Owner needs to invest in some fresh sand for the volleyball court, a new propane grill, and a new mattress in the first floor queen bedroom, but overall a great trip.

Perfect - beautiful home away from home
Every thing was perfect. The house had been sanitized and was extremely clean. The kitchen has absolutely everything anyone could need. The location is safe and beautiful - perfect for adults and children. Already booked again for next year.

Great Place to Stay
Great place for a beach visit for 10-12 people. Nice pool and nice house with great A/C. Very close to the beach (3 min walk) and super convenient to downtown Duck for shopping, eats, etc. House has space to spread out or gather all together. Kitchen well equipped and spacious.

Great location, home needs some TLC
Located in the Four Seasons community this home has a great location to Duck, beach and community amenities. However, the owner needs to update the kitchen, get rid of the old purple carpet, put a table on the deck and the pool deck-with an umbrella, get new lounge chairs-most were cracked, add more seating in the basement, buy some nice deck chairs for large porch area in front, and repaint the outside. Walking around the community you can see the different level of home care that is taken or not taken!

Wonderful Vacation Place
We had a great time in a great area. The house met our needs well for 14 people, including six of them 10 and under.

Having the house located in the Four Seasons community is such a great experience with all the amenities located within the community for their guests. Especially the trolley to and from the beach. Where else can you simply stand and be picked up along with your beach equipment and be taken directly to the beach and picked up and brought directly back to you beach home. Especially knowing now that you had many children under the age of 10, this trolley sure made your vacation even more enjoyable. Great home - Just in need of a few upgrades
This was our second time in Four Seasons, a great community, but first time in this home.
Pros: We were very pleased with how clean the home was, the amount of space, close walk (couple mins) to beach access, amenities provided (beach, hot tub, grill, pool table, volleyball), general comfort.
Cons: There were some minor maintenance issues (pool light didn't work, ants in the kitchen), but property manager quickly addressed these issues. The fridge was somewhat small for the number of families staying there (luckily a second on the ground floor, but alot of back and forth walking). As others have mentioned the furniture in the family room (two recliners in particular) are old and worn. Plenty of light around dining room but it could use window coverings as family members complained about sun in their eyes in evenings.
Overall, a very nice home and perfectly adequate for a week-long stay, it could just use a little updating/maintenance to really make it stand out.

Especially the trolley running throughout the community, so guests can simply ride to the beach ride home again as well. Enjoyed our stay.
House was very convenient to the beach and the outdoor community pool and playground. Shuttle ran all day and it was fun to ride and see the neighborhood area. Also very convenient to the town of Duck which had everything you need. Great trip.

Great home!
We had a wonderful trip to the outer banks this year! We usually stay in a town more south (waves, salvo, rodanthe) but we decided to try out duck this year and we were definitely not disappointed! The four seasons plan was amazing and had something fun for everyone, and our house was in an awesome location, just a short walk to the beach. Overall it was probably our best trip to the outer banks yet!

Overview of stay
All in all it was great. There were several maintenance issues that should have been taken care of well before we arrived. One bedroom had a missing door nob on door, same room had a non operating television .
It took 3 days of calling to get a gas tank delivered to use the outdoor grill.

Nice house, great location
Large house with a great layout. There were some ants in the kitchen sink area. Could have used some more pots with lids.

A great time was had by all !!!
It was a great house to vacation in. There was something for everyone. We had ages from 5 to 70 and everyone had a great time. Our family rented a house in the OBX 4 years ago and this house was much better. Beach Realty is great to deal with. Thanks.

Wonderful week at Clearview by the Sea
This was the first time we stayed in the Four Seasons development and this house was a great choice! Our two labs loved it too!

Lovely Stay in May
My extended family stayed at Clearview during the week of my niece's wedding. We were very pleased with the house overall. The beach is a short walk away without crossing any busy streets and the house was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans etc. The pool table, the beach toys, and all of the book choices were also very much appreciated. My personal favorite was the porch swing in the back of the house -- a very nice place to just take a break. My only suggestion is that some curtains/blinds/shades be added to the upper level in the living room/dining room area. I would recommend this house to others and would gladly stay there again during a future visit to Duck.
