Perfect location, house has it all!
We rented this house because friends were hosting a wedding nearby and it was pefect for our party of 6. The hot tub and pool are fantastic! The kitchen is well equiped with appliances and utensils. Even though you are a road back from the beach it still provides great views of the ocean. Central location to shopping and restaurants was nice too! Our bed mattress was a little too firm, but other than that fully recommend this house and location.

Loved Bre Ale's Lighthouse
I've already reviewed our stay, which was GREAT. While I mentioned the issue with the oven door not closing properly which allowed heat to escape, I failed to mention the screen on the kitchen sliding door to the deck had an enormous hole in it when we arrived. I reported it the next day and John came the following day and replaced the screening. Staff response was excellent. We would be staying at Bre Ale's Lighthouse again next year, but we'll need a larger house. I would definitely recommend it to a

Fantastic house, large kitchen, elevator and close to beach
We rented Bre ale Lighthouse twice this year. The house was clean and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and roomy. It is located in a quiet neighborhood; the washer and dryer were a huge help on us not needing to overpack

Awesome Beach House!
Bre Ale's Lighthouse was a comfortable and beautiful house. It has enough room for everyone to spread out, yet still be close to each other. It was stocked very well! The pool and hot tub were excellent. It is close to the public access on the beach, ocean view from the top balcony, close to Bob's and Millers. We definitely enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Bre Ales Lighthouse
Overall we were satisfied with the house. The house was very clean and the location was great. Very convenient to beaches, shopping and restaurants. Several restaurants were within walking distance as well as the beach. A couple things that could have made it better. The patio furniture on the decks needs upgrading. The plastic chairs are very uncomfortable. The addition of an ice machine and a larger fridge on the 1 st floor would be nice. I did report by text 2 things that need repaired. One was a large

Outstanding House, NOT A SINGLE ISSUE
Bre Ale's Lighthouse was fantastic. Perfect walking distance to the beach. This by far was the best house we ever stayed at. The elevator, pool, washer/dryer and well stocked kitchen were a huge hit. We had no issues period. The beds were very comfortable and entertainment system was perfect

Another great year At Bre Ale
We spent another wonderful year at the Bre Ale. I believe its 5 straight years at this great house. We love this house and it always feels like we are at home during our stay. The place has a perfect design for living. The kitchen is fully stocked and spacious with a table for 10. Having the elevator for our family is a necessity and it addresses all of our needs. The pool was wonderful this year since the weather was so hot and the pool temp was perfect. Beach Reality does a great job of getting this

A Beautiful Gem in the OBX
A wonderful property in a central location in Kill Devil Hills. Well appointed with quality furnishings, an elevator and great audio visual equipment. Three items from my point of view, there needs to be a landing at the front door, hard to handle luggage and groceries, no K cup coffee maker, hand held showers would be a help. Otherwise a great property, pool, hot tub and location. Another plus when you leave the property in either direction there are traffic signals to get on main highway.

Very pleasant stay.
The house was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, cups, utensils etc. The pool and hot tub are very nice options if not wanting to go to the beach. The elevator was awesome for my mom who does not get around well due to Parkinsons, without it she would not have been able to make the trip. Highly recommend this house for your beach stay.

Home Away From Home
This was our 4th straight year staying at this house. It was a wonderful stay as usual. Pool was great although I thought in previous years someone came to treat and clean the pool midweek but not this year. But it didn't prevent us from enjoying the pool on hot days. Having been at this house for several years allowed us to be more comfortable with the layout. The elevator worked fine and with several people needing to use it it was key in having a comfortable and safe stay. Our family enjoys this place

Great first OBX experienc!
Bre Ales Lighthouse made for a great first experience in the OBX! The house layout was great, everything we needed was there! The location was exceptional! This will not be our last stay here!
My only ;complaint; would be that the rental company leave more toilet paper/paper towel. There werent even enough rolls for each bathroom.

Summer Home
This was the third year in a row for our family at this property. The property was clean, as was the pool. Elevator worked which was a necessity for slightly disabled folks. The place is in between route 12 and 158 so ideal for getting to restaurants, groceries, etc. The property is in very good condition, AC worked fine as well as the the TVs, internet, etc. we already booked for next year but anyone wanting a great home to stay in would do well to select this house.
