Best House In 43 Years of Coming to Outer Banks

We have rented many homes over the last 43 years of coming to the Outer Banks. Blue Angel was by far the best in the layout, size, multiple kitchens, and family areas.
It was close to the beach and had a great size pool. Each bedroom had it own bath, plus half baths in the living areas and a full bath by the pool.
Great view of the ocean. Only thing missing was an elevator, but even that proved to not be an issue. To say we loved and enjoyed our stay at Blue Angel would be an understatement. Until

Just fantastic

We love the separate areas of the house:barbeque pit, hot tub, pool, pool table, cooking and tv area, game area upstairs. Suits our family ages 1 to 76. Many kitchens helps chilling water and beverages. Extra ovens for grilling and keeping food warm. Love balcony on second floor for quiet time. I could go on and on...great place

Blue Angel 2024

Weve stayed at the Blue Angel several times over the years and love this house and location! But PLEASE update the kitchen appliances!! When large groups of people stay in this house, there is a lot of cooking going on. The appliances are broken and outdated!!! The dishwasher is missing parts and doesnt work right, the refrigerator has broken shelves and needs replaced, the microwave handle is broken, and the stove is awful to cook on.
Other than that, its a great place to stay!

This home holds a special place in my heart. Im 2017 I took my last vacation with my youngest daughter and we stayed here. She was killed in a car crash in 2019 at 18 years old. We stayed here again this past September. We loved it in 2017 and loved it just as much in 2023. Great location and such a homey atmosphere. We will rent it every year.

Great Getaway And A Great Value

Overall a tremendous time at the Blue Angel with family and friends. Perfect location as it sits directly in front of beach access and is an easy bike ride to the Wright Brothers Memorial (a must see spot). Treated to some beautiful sunrises enjoying coffee on the balcony. Enjoyed some 8-ball competitions late into the evening while others chatted in the game room.

Perfect house for a large family bacation

Blue Angel has the best layout and location that weve ever stayed in. All bedrooms being primary bedrooms with their own bathrooms is HUGE! The side yard is perfect for yard games and being the party back from the beach to the house. We love it and booked the same week next year. Our only draw back is there is no longer an ice machine which is disappointing. Its still listed as having one. None of the refrigerators produce ice properly so be prepared to buy ice on the regularly for coolers.

Perfect Family Vacation Spot

This house allows for family gatherings as well as a lot of privacy for everyone if desired. Having a well kept fenced yard was a real plus for fur babies. Pool, hot tub, grill and a house well kept was outstanding.

Love the side yard for games. Pool and hot tub a big hit with all. Top story great for games. Balconies a fun coffee and drink place. Kitchen is easy.

Wonderful place to stay

The Blue Angel was a great house for our family vacation. There was plenty of room for us and everything was clean when we arrived. Any maintenance needs were handled promptly and the maintenance men were very polite and friendly.

Overall great stay!

This house was perfect for the amount of people we had. The location was great with easy beach access. The inside is nicely done there are a few things that definitely could use updating but honestly for the amount of time spent actually in the house it wasnt a huge deal. The fact that there was 3 fridges alone was AMAZING! Definitely a great price and great house for big families.
