We love this Bungalow!
We have been using Beach Realty/Kitty Hawk Rentals for 25 years and they always do so well! We found Beach Bungalow in 2000 and our young family of 5 fell in love with it. It took many years to rent this house again (it's popular!) but the past 7 years our now family of 9 has vacationed at Beach Bungalow! It is so well maintained and offers everything—close to the beach (super easy walk), pool on main level, screened back porch and well stocked with all we need. We swim, look for shells, eat on the porch, relax in the hot tub and kayak in the sound. Kuddos to the owner and Kitty Hawk! Can't wait to return in 2026!

Highly recommend staying at Beach Bungalow! Our family had the best week. The house has a great lay out allowing for lots of family time in the common area, the kitchen was equipped with lots of tools and supplies making it easy to cook meals. It was clean, the pool access on the main floor was so nice and lots of neat spaces for the kids to play and hang out to have their own spaces. The beach is a short walk making it wonderful to run and back and forth when kids forget something :-) We would definitely stay here again!

We did enjoy our stay and loved the convenience to the beach. The door to the outside screened porch was difficult to maneuver and seemed to not settle well into the track. The door to the screen porch off of the bedroom was not a real lock and did not fit easily into the wall. The pool turned green quickly and we asked for assistance and never received it. The realty office said they would come out on Saturday, however we left Saturday. That was a disappointment. The pool is what my children look forward to the most. I did think the house came well stocked with items to be used, which I am not use to when coming to the outer banks.

Great Week at the Outer Banks
This was our 4th year at Beach Bungalow and we love it here. Short walk to the beach, short drive to Harris Teeter, easy drive to the shops in Duck. The weather this week was outstanding! Spent most of the day on the beach, followed up by relaxing in the beautiful pool. The owners continue to make upgrades, and this year was an upgrade to a new King bed in the master. Beautiful Week at Beach Bungalow!!
Our family has been coming to Ocean Sands off and on for over 40 years. Beach Bungalow has everything you need for a terrific vacation. The location is perfect; a quiet street and easy access to the boardwalk. We had only one suggestion...a stool to get into the king bed. It is very high. The screened porch off the living area is adjacent to the pool which is great for kids. We enjoyed the ease of 1 floor living which is not usually found in a beach house. Another Great Week at the Outer Banks
We had a great week at Beach Bungalow, our third year at this property. Short walk to the beautiful beach, the pool is beautiful and right off the main floor. Can view the spectacular sunsets from the top deck. House is always clean, appliances are well maintained, kitchen is well-stocked. Very close to a grocery store. In my opinion, the beds are not very comfortable which doesnt make for a great nights sleep. Also be aware that we have seen ants the past 2 years, so you need to constantly wipe down counte

An absolutely great vacation rental home!
This vacation home had every amenity you could want for your Outer Banks vacation. This home was in a quiet neighborhood, close to beach, also had its own pool, hot tub, indoor jetted tub, washer and dryer and outdoor grill. It was comfortable and very clean and dog friendly! Realty rental Company was easy to work with. We will definitely be back!

Great week at Beach Bungalow
This is my second year at this rental property! The house is great! Everything is there for you. You want to go to the beach, the walkway is right there. Want to swim, the pool is right there. Relaxing in the hot tub? Right there! Restaurants and shops within a mile. Cant imagine renting anywhere else!

We have stayed at Beach Bungalow many times over the years and love everything about it. We have spent time with extended family, and sometimes just two of us. Really enjoyed our week. Very short walk to the beach, and after a few hours there, its a short walk back to enjoy the beautiful pool. Awesome house, great vacation!!
It is a great house!! Lots of room. You can see the ocean from the decks. Very comfortable, and clean. Peaceful and relaxing! You can hear the waves crashing. Grocery store is 0.5 miles away. Lots of little shops, a light house and horses on the beach within 10 minutes!! Close to Kill Devil Hills for history buffs!! I cant wait to return!!

Had a beautiful week at Beach Bungalow. Short walk to the beach, and we loved, loved, loved the pool! Also loved the privacy of this property. Our week at Beach Bungalow
Beach Realty of NC never disappoints and neither does our favorite house— Beach Bungalow! Our house for the week was clean and welcoming (kudos to the cleaning team!) Great Time at Corolla with Family
The house was perfect for our 3 generation family. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. There was enough dishes to feed all nine people and enough seating. The house was clean. Mostly a great vacation in OBX!
We have always loved this house and have rented it for 15 years had stopped renting for 6 years since fewer people and it was going up in price and came back for our third year now. Our washing machine broke on Sunday night and contacted Monday morning first thing with the problem. It waslate in the day Wednesday before someone came out since I believe they had to go back and forth with the owner. I felt a day was wasted with no contact after I called first thing Monday morning I heard nothing for the rest of the day and had to make contact on Tuesday morning to see where we were at with the ticket. A washing machine is a big necessity for us for washing beach and dish towels as well as clothes since we don't bring a lot with us since there is a washing machine. Otherwise very nice, although the bed in the 2nd master is not very comfortable way to soft and needs replacing if anyone moves in the middle of the night the whole bed shakes.

Beach Bungalow was lovely and beautifully decorated and so close to the beach!!! It was very clean and well maintained. We were provided any information we needed during the week before we even asked. This was my first trip to OBX and this house was perfect for our party of 3—with plenty of extra space, to say the least! Even though the house sleeps 18, the living spaces still felt intimate and the layout spacious without feeling cavernous. I think the owners have done a really nice job with the decor and quality. Our family had a wonderful time at this property. It was 3 minutes walking distance from the beach. The house was clean and perfect layout for our family.
The kitchen was well equipped with everything you can think of. The location was very serene and quiet..we were minutes away from where you access the beach with your vehicle and drive up on the beach to Currituck and Carova to look for the wild horses.
All in one day, we visited a great Aquarium on Roanoke Island and the Wright Bros Memorial!
The kitchen was well equipped with everything you can think of. The location was very serene and quiet..we were minutes away from where you access the beach with your vehicle and drive up on the beach to Currituck and Carova to look for the wild horses.

Beach Getaway 2020!
This was our 20th year vacationing in OBX and our 19th year using Beach Realty of NC! We LOVE Ocean Sands Community and especially LOVE, LOVE, Love The Beach Bungalow! We stayed here in 1998 and have been trying to return each year (but it is a popular house!)... it finally happened in 2019 and we returned in Aug 2020 for our 40th anniversary and vow renewal on the beach. Wonderful Time Despite Storm!
We had a wonderful time at Beach Bungalow - what a beautiful home! You can tell the owners take great pride and care and judging by all the lovely notes (ours included) in the guest book you will know why. Unfortunately, during our stay, Hurricane Dorian impacted the NC coast and there was a mandatory evacuation. The management at Beach Realty were wonderful, sending updates and guidance and even called to check in. You can never predict these things but the gorgeous Corolla coast is worth it! More about the house - you are a stones's throw to the beach and having all the bedrooms on the same floor (same as the pool!) was great. The crows nest gaming area and extra TV lounge is a tween's dream! Plus, there are two master suites that are amazing. I can't say enough about this place. We want to go back next year!

We love Beach Bungalow!
This home never disappoints. Fabulous location very close to the beach on a quiet street also close to shopping. Not for a large group, but we travel as a family of only four, so it's hard to find nice, smaller rentals. This one hits the mark!

Beach Bungalow Review
I loved that the kitchen provided essentials such as trash bags, dishwasher detergent, soap, spices, lots of dishes, and even laundry detergent! That is so helpful when traveling so one doesn't have to bring all of this stuff. My only suggestion is supplying small bars of soap for the showers. Other than that, this place was very clean, with a great pool, deck and hot tub!

Our summer escape
We had a great house with all the bells and wistles. We were close enough to shopping and miniature golf we could ride our bikes. The new Greenway made it so much easier to get around. We hope to be back again next year.

This was out second year in this house. My family loves this house with everything on one floor and the loft for a game room the older children appreciate it. The owner has supplied everything needed to prepare a family meal. We have already reserved this house for August 2017.

Wonderful Family Vacation Location in the Outer Banks!
We absolutely loved the Beach Bungalow property. It had all of the amenities we could possibly need and the location of the home was wonderful. We split most of our days at the private pool and then took a short walk to the beach in the afternoons. We absolutely loved having coffee each morning on the screened in patio, which was perfect for my one-year old niece to have free range without having to be being concerned she would be near the pool. Besides being close to the beach, the location of the home was perfect because it was only a few minutes away from the local grocery store and many restaurants. My entire family loved this home and would be so happy to come back in the future! Great customer service experience leading up to the vacation as well. Thanks for an awesome vacation that we will always remember!

Amazing week at the outerbanks
Beach Bungalow was an excellent choice for us. The house was fully equipped and needs for the age range we had staying. Cooking area and utensils were very good and very good quality. Proximity to the beach was perfect and cozy neighborhood allowed for evening walks. Looks like the owner continues to improve the appearance of the house as minor construction seemed to be in process. Again great home for our Thanksgiving week 2015. The only short fall was that the fish did not bite!

Wonderful 7th year!
