Great Week at the Outer Banks
This was our 4th year at Beach Bungalow and we love it here. Short walk to the beach, short drive to Harris Teeter, easy drive to the shops in Duck. The weather this week was outstanding! Spent most of the day on the beach, followed up by relaxing in the beautiful pool. The owners continue to make upgrades, and this year was an upgrade to a new King bed in the master. The property is clean and the kitchen has everything you need. We like the layout being mostly on one floor, with the pool just outside the living area, so no treking up and down steps. This year we did the mini golf on the Grass Course for the first time and it was a lot of fun.

Beautiful Week at Beach Bungalow!!
Our family has been coming to Ocean Sands off and on for over 40 years. Beach Bungalow has everything you need for a terrific vacation. The location is perfect; a quiet street and easy access to the boardwalk. We had only one suggestion...a stool to get into the king bed. It is very high. The screened porch off the living area is adjacent to the pool which is great for kids. We enjoyed the ease of 1 floor living which is not usually found in a beach house. We saw the July 4th fireworks from the top deck and had a view of the ocean as well. There were 2 outdoor dining options and we used them both at different times. It was a GREAT house and we will definitely return in the future!!

We love Kitty Hawk Rentals and we LOVE Beach Bungalow! This is our 23rd year in OBX with our now adult kiddos. Beach Bungalow has everything we need and that makes it very easy. Another Great Week at the Outer Banks
We had a great week at Beach Bungalow, our third year at this property. Short walk to the beautiful beach, the pool is beautiful and right off the main floor. Can view the spectacular sunsets from the top deck. House is always clean, appliances are well maintained, kitchen is well-stocked. Very close to a grocery store. In my opinion, the beds are not very comfortable which doesn’t make for a great night’s sleep. Also be aware that we have seen ants the past 2 years, so you need to constantly wipe down counters, do your dishes, and secure your food. That said, Beach Realty was very responsive to our concerns and quickly took care of our small issues. We are planning to rent this house again next summer because all of the positives well outweigh the negatives, and our family feels very comfortable there. I would recommend this rental.

An absolutely great vacation rental home!
This vacation home had every amenity you could want for your Outer Banks vacation. This home was in a quiet neighborhood, close to beach, also had it’s own pool, hot tub, indoor jetted tub, washer and dryer and outdoor grill. It was comfortable and very clean and dog friendly! Realty rental Company was easy to work with. We will definitely be back!

Great week at Beach Bungalow
This is my second year at this rental property! The house is great! Everything is there for you. You want to go to the beach, the walkway is right there. Want to swim, the pool is right there. Relaxing in the hot tub? Right there! Restaurants and shops within a mile. Can’t imagine renting anywhere else!

Really enjoyed our week. Very short walk to the beach, and after a few hours there, it’s a short walk back to enjoy the beautiful pool. Enjoyed morning coffee on the screened in porch, and beautiful sunsets on the upper deck. Had a minor issue and the realty company took care of it immediately. Really nice kitchen and appliances. Location is great. Also enjoyed the bikes! Only complaint is that it’s time to replace mattresses and water pressure in bathrooms was not great. That said, next year will be our third year in this very nice rental.

Awesome house, great vacation!!
It is a great house!! Lots of room. You can see the ocean from the decks. Very comfortable, and clean. Peaceful and relaxing! You can hear the waves crashing. Grocery store is 0.5 miles away. Lots of little shops, a light house and horses on the beach within 10 minutes!! Close to Kill Devil Hills for history buffs!! I can’t wait to return!!

Beach Realty of NC never disappoints and neither does our favorite house— Beach Bungalow! Our house for the week was clean and welcoming (kudos to the cleaning team!) Our early checkin was worth the cost. This was the rainiest beach week we’ve had in our 20 years of vacationing in OBX but there were plenty of games and activities at the house to entertain us. Plus the covered hot tub! ❤️ We enjoyed going to the four wheel drive beach on Monday but then traveled the very short path from our house to the beach anytime the rain stopped. Morning and evening walks were very nice! We have reserved the Beach Bungalow for the same week in 2022! If you can find another week that isn’t already reserved I recommend you jump on it!!! Best house in Ocean Sands!!!

Great Time at Corolla with Family
The house was perfect for our 3 generation family. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. There was enough dishes to feed all nine people and enough seating. The house was clean. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit. The beach was only a five minute walk. The beach was beautiful. The owner also provided bikes and beach chairs. My family had a blast. We parasailed, photographed the wild horses, and visited the lighthouse. We thank the owners for their hospitality and would highly recommend the home. We would definitely stay at the Beach Bungalow home again.

Fantastic beach house
Beach Bungalow is a beautiful home. Well appointed and comfortable. We felt at home immediately. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and all the home’s amenities. We plan on rebooking this home as it’s become our ‘home away from home.’

Beach Bungalow
Beach Bungalow was lovely and beautifully decorated and so close to the beach!!! It was very clean and well maintained. We were provided any information we needed during the week before we even asked. We would definitely recommend this property for the perfect Corolla beach getaway!!We had several beautiful beach days, swam in the pool everyday, went putt putt golfing, jet-ski/watersports one day and ate at several fantastic restaurants in the area!! Will definitely stay again!!!

Lovely house!
This was my first trip to OBX and this house was perfect for our party of 3—with plenty of extra space, to say the least! Even though the house sleeps 18, the living spaces still felt intimate and the layout spacious without feeling cavernous. I think the owners have done a really nice job with the decor and quality. We loved using the fireplaces in the living room and master during our unseasonably chilly March stay. The owners might consider updating the 2 master bathrooms sometime in the near future (they're very clean and lovely, just not quite as current-feeling as the rest of the house), and it might be nice to have a hammock on one of the many porches, but I'm really grasping at straws for constructive criticism! Would definitely stay here again.

Would stay in this house again.
Our family had a wonderful time at this property. It was 3 minutes walking distance from the beach. The house was clean and perfect layout for our family.
The kitchen was well equipped with everything you can think of. The location was very serene and quiet..we were minutes away from where you access the beach with your vehicle and drive up on the beach to Currituck and Carova to look for the wild horses.
All in one day, we visited a great Aquarium on Roanoke Island and the Wright Bros Memorial!
It was a pleasure working with Beach Realty and would absolutely use them again. They were very professional and accommodating.
It was a memorable vacation for our family. Hope we can do it again someday!

Beach Getaway 2020!
This was our 20th year vacationing in OBX and our 19th year using Beach Realty of NC! We LOVE Ocean Sands Community and especially LOVE, LOVE, Love The Beach Bungalow! We stayed here in 1998 and have been trying to return each year (but it is a popular house!)... it finally happened in 2019 and we returned in Aug 2020 for our 40th anniversary and vow renewal on the beach. Best house ever. It is perfect for our family and the pool is exceptional. Love that it flows from the house...and makes for a great family atmosphere. Love everything about Beach Bungalow! I would definitly recommend this house-- if you see a week when it isn't rented, grab it fast!

Wonderful Time Despite Storm!
We had a wonderful time at Beach Bungalow - what a beautiful home! You can tell the owners take great pride and care and judging by all the lovely notes (ours included) in the guest book you will know why. Unfortunately, during our stay, Hurricane Dorian impacted the NC coast and there was a mandatory evacuation. The management at Beach Realty were wonderful, sending updates and guidance and even called to check in. You can never predict these things but the gorgeous Corolla coast is worth it! More about the house - you are a stones's throw to the beach and having all the bedrooms on the same floor (same as the pool!) was great. The crows nest gaming area and extra TV lounge is a tween's dream! Plus, there are two master suites that are amazing. I can't say enough about this place. We want to go back next year!

We love Beach Bungalow!
This home never disappoints. Fabulous location very close to the beach on a quiet street also close to shopping. Not for a large group, but we travel as a family of only four, so it's hard to find nice, smaller rentals. This one hits the mark!

This was our 4th time at this property. Property was fine.
We had some inconvenience with the check in. We arrived at a time set by the office that the house was supposed to be ready. . When we arrived we saw a vehicle and two men in the driveway. I called the office, they sent an agent to check. An hour passed and we were contacted by the agent stating that the homeowner was there doing work on the house .
Apparently there was a miscoomunication between the owner and the office and we were stuck in the middle until the owner finished his work and left.

Beach Bungalow Review
I loved that the kitchen provided essentials such as trash bags, dishwasher detergent, soap, spices, lots of dishes, and even laundry detergent! That is so helpful when traveling so one doesn't have to bring all of this stuff. My only suggestion is supplying small bars of soap for the showers. Other than that, this place was very clean, with a great pool, deck and hot tub!

Cozy and comfortable
We've stayed in Beach Bungalow for 5 years. It's a perfect house for smaller groups like ours (just 4 of us!) and because it's smaller, we can get amenities like the private pool and short walk to the beach within our price range. The house is kept up very nicely with upgrades throughout the years.

The location and amenities of the rental were excellent. Once again, Beach Bungalow provided a family-centered vacation rental. The owner has considered family needs. This year, besides the kitchen amenities, we were greeted by several bikes of all sizes! Every year there is something new for families. Oh, I forgot that the pool deck was renewed. This owner wants to provide a good, safe, and fun family vacation. What are you waiting for, plan your trip to the outer banks now!
Truly a wonderful place any time of year but driving out of winter in Jerz to meet Summer in Corolla for the week was amazing. Sea breezes were chilly but great weather overall. The area and the house was top notch.

This home was immaculate!!! We loved the layout and enjoyed every square inch!! Our only issue was that the pool had sand on the bottom and was not cleaned while we were there but that didn't stop us from using it. Also wished the hot tub and pool were closer to each other. Great home and would use it again!!

Our summer escape

This was out second year in this house. My family loves this house with everything on one floor and the loft for a game room the older children appreciate it. The owner has supplied everything needed to prepare a family meal. We have already reserved this house for August 2017.

Wonderful Family Vacation Location in the Outer Banks!
We absolutely loved the Beach Bungalow property. It had all of the amenities we could possibly need and the location of the home was wonderful. We split most of our days at the private pool and then took a short walk to the beach in the afternoons. We absolutely loved having coffee each morning on the screened in patio, which was perfect for my one-year old niece to have free range without having to be being concerned she would be near the pool. Besides being close to the beach, the location of the home was perfect because it was only a few minutes away from the local grocery store and many restaurants. My entire family loved this home and would be so happy to come back in the future! Great customer service experience leading up to the vacation as well. Thanks for an awesome vacation that we will always remember!

Amazing week at the outerbanks
Beach Bungalow was an excellent choice for us. The house was fully equipped and needs for the age range we had staying. Cooking area and utensils were very good and very good quality. Proximity to the beach was perfect and cozy neighborhood allowed for evening walks. Looks like the owner continues to improve the appearance of the house as minor construction seemed to be in process. Again great home for our Thanksgiving week 2015. The only short fall was that the fish did not bite!

Family time 11year same house

We came to relax and enjoy the area without an agenda. Beach Bungalow is Lovely. The one floor layout is superb with very tasteful decor. We loved the large screened in porch off the deck pool side. Easy walk to beach and you can hear the ocean from the decks.
The only negative is temperature differences in living room (cold) and the master bedrooms( very warm with fans on). The privacy and cleanliness of
the hot tub is excellent. Nice gas grill too. We loved this property.
