Wonderful house and great view. Disappointed in kitchen amenities. Broiler doesn't work and no colander to drain shrimp after boiling. Having all the pool chairs and tables on our upper deck made the stairs and half the deck unusable.

Return Family Beach Vacation 2024
We just love the outer banks. This trip is a escape from reality for us each and every year. The rental process is super easy and we try to renew our week each year. The cottage provides the best of all worlds: semi-views of the ocean, community pool, and homelike atmosphere. The property has provided the basic needs we have needed over the years including high chair, pack-n-play, washing machine/ dryer, and basic kitchen/cooking utensils. Only word of caution, is be a morning person as the sun comes shining in by 6 am if you don’t remember to add towels to the blinds to keep the sun out, you might be up early. Also the furntiure and decor is slightly outdated if you may attention to that kind of thing. Regardless, we just love our experience and “little beach house rental.” Looking forward to 2025.

Overall, the house (Atlantic Vu) was great! Our family loved the location and the large living area on the second floor. It is steps away from both the pool and the beach. Also, there are so many restaurants nearby! The staff who clean the house need to check under the beds, though. We found oranges, cereal etc. under the beds. Also, not all the lights were working. The master shower had rusty shower curtain rods. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a few items that need to be taken care of. Thanks!

Very clean and inviting space. Quick walk across to the beach and easy accessibility to the pool. We had a really nice stay over all. The beds really need some work. Ine you could feel the springs in the mattress and another made a lot of noise when you moved around but we got through that. Some of the furniture was getting thread bare or was stained. Some slip covers would work well to remedy that. The tental staff were awesome. They answeted my concerns immediayely and kept us up to date on all storm issues through tropical storm Elsa. The house was nice and in an excellent location for beach access. Having the community pool was a major plus for us as well. Great vacation for our family.

Was a very nice house. It’s a little dated could use some new things. The view is amazing watch the ocean while you eat. Air conditioning could use a tune up the bedrooms got very stuffy at night. All in all good trip would stay there again

We had a great week, this realty company is wonderful to work with. This house has the basics you need for a nice trip but the beds need updating. They are very noisy and the covers are very outdated. We were constantly waking each other by just rolling over. The shower curtain in the master really isn't functional.

Great house to stay in, close to the beach and swimming pool.
We all enjoyed staying in this house. The kitchen had everything you would need. Close to the beach and swimming pool. However the beds were sqeaky and the bedrooms and bathrooms were warm, no ventilation at all in the bathrooms, except a window.

associate was very helpful.gentlemen met and helped us find the location. wish the air conditioner worked better as 76 was too warm. one shower leaked and one didn't have much water pressure.

Great week in OBX
It was a great week for my family, including our two girls (8 and 6) and dog.
Pros:
- Pretty clean home. I was expecting a pet smell since the house allowed dogs, but surprisingly the smell was not there.
- Awesome location. Beach is literally across the street (3 minute walk lugging beach stuff). Also centrally located to major attractions.
- Community pool is very convenient and clean as well. We usually used it later in the day (no shade) and had it to ourselves for the most part.
Cons:
- Could use some TLC. Vacuum was ineffective. Hose sprayer outside is broken. Shower curtain has black mold. Squeaky mattresses.
- Grassy area outside has little picky things that got caught in the dog's paw pads and irritated them. Also got caught in shoe/sandle soles and got tracked into the house. Ouchs in bare feet.

The house was in a great location. Having the pool so close was very convenient. The house was great for kids. Appreciated the extra details of the owner for the kids. There was a closet of toys and beach gear. The building blocks and construction paper allowed the adults some down time.
