Beautiful location
This was the second year we stayed at Atlantic Paradise. The location is great. It is close to everything you need (beach, stores, etc). The front balcony is the perfect location to watch the sunrise. The only negative things I could say is, It could use a few more chairs on the balcony and on the back balcony and they need a better vacuum cleaner. The one they have now did not work so we were not able to vacuum. But other than those two MINOR things it is great!

Great stay with family
This was our third year at Atlantic Paradise. As always it did not disappoint. Clean, roomy and comfortable. Just a few steps to the beach. Nice pool and yard. Wish the pool furniture was bit more comfy. I brought my own chair this year

We loved the location and size of the house. There are a few complaints...the dishwasher is not attached and one didn’t work. The grills were not cleaned and trash left in tiki bar area, mold in the shower on third floor and kitchen equipment was old and some were rusty.

Atlantic Paradise
We loved the efficiency of the home and the proximity to the beach. The private beach for the Southern Shores Community was wonderful. The road out front is busy but cars immediately stop at the crosswalk for pedestrians to cross. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool as well after a day at the beach. The maintenance of the pool was impeccable, it was crystal clear, as was the hot tub. House was clean upon arrival and the amount of bedroom /bathrooms were sufficient for our large family. There was an ice cream, donut and many shops within walking distance and grocery stores etc. were a few minute drive. All made for a great week with family. We hope to rent it again some day!

What a great vacation!!!
Our group was a total of 12 people representing 3 generations. And everybody had a great time even though the weather was pretty awful. It rained almost every day. But Atlantic Paradise did not disappoint! Plenty of room to spread out and to all be together in the main living area comfortably. Great location! Very nice pool. Large bedrooms. Plenty of bathrooms. (A gas grill would be a nice upgrade). I highly recommend this place.

Pros- Great location of home. Nice pool. Nice layout of house. Easy access to beach. Could watch sun rise easily from front deck.

Great Location and Layout for Large Family Group
The house is in a great location with quick and easy access/walk to the beach. Although the Ocean Ave. is very busy with cars, it is central to most of what OBX offers up and down the coast. Layout is great for a large family group. Pool and hot tub in good condition and great for days when beach weather is not ideal. Great kitchen layout with 2 dishwashers and sinks not to mention refrigerator and sink on bottom floor for easy access when at pool. Bedroom furniture in good shape but other common room furniture showing signs of age/use and could use updating. TV system/service was very difficult to operate and did not include major networks...tech support was responsive but ineffective so although the equipment was modern enough the TV was not good for watching major sporting events. Grill was adequate but could be upgraded with minor investment. Decent outside deck space and room to air-out.

We were very pleased with this house overall. Great beach location. Very clean. We did not have internet/ cable for 4 days which was a problem. Also, TVs in bedrooms did not have connection our entire stay. A recommendation would be to have a gas grill. The tiny charcoal grill not effective.

We had a wonderful week staying at Atlantic Paradise. The house was exactly as the pictures showed and even better. It was clean, very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The pool, elevator very great bonuses. It was an easy short walk to the beach and the 2 outside showers very great for showering the grandkids. The rental company was very quick in responding to one minor issue we had. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Atlantic Paradise Aptly Titled
We had a great gathering of old friends (six couples) for three days here. The house was beautiful and well maintained and conveniently located to the beach and local amenities and facilities. On average we get together about every two years and this was the first time we stayed together in just one home. I think we all agreed that this spacious house, with the benefit of an elevator for an individual recovering from surgery, was perhaps our best gathering ever. We had plenty of space and being under one roof simplified everything and allowed us to focus on the important things!

Early June 2021
Our stay at Atlantic Paradise was very satisfactory. We were a group of 12 (6 adults and 6 children) The weather was partly rainy and partly sunny. In spite of the weather we were able to enjoy the trip. The home was large enough for the times we were unable to go out due to the rain. There were sufficient bathrooms for our group. The rooms were large and clean. The kitchen was large enough to allow three people to prep and cook easily. We really appreciated having 2 sinks and 2 dishwashers. All in all we would highly recommend the beach home.

It would have been nice to have a few more deck chairs on the decks so that more from our party could enjoy the ocean views. As well, the light fixtures and fans need a good dusting. The fan in the mid level twin bed room was very noisy and rocked a lot. It needs some attention. Also, the couches in the main living room should be replaced. The springs have given out on them and one sinks down quite low when sitting on them.
