Older house with issues like storm doors don't close snugly to keep out flies, refrigerator outlet usually needed to be reset when running the dryer, bathroom tiny, and mattresses saggy in the middle. Ground floor entry made sand management difficult. Crumbs on many surfaces on our arrival put cleanliness in doubt; dirty laundry from prior guests on front porch all week long. Great location on the beach and in a quiet cul de sac; allows pets! Satisfactory stay but did not inspire me to make future reservations at same location.

Aqua nights
The property needs to be updated. The main floor bathroom is too small. The front downstairs bedroom was too hot, there were fans but they did not help. There were ants in the upstairs bathroom. The ice maker did not work properly and would run out of ice. The refrigerator stopped working one evening, we had to pull it out and reset the plug. Overall it was well stocked and had everything we needed. The location to the beach is great and we enjoyed our stay. We do feel the price was too high for the accommodations.

Aqua Nights
Great older oceanfront home for a smaller family or group. Location of this home is perfect. It’s close to grocery stores, restaurants, aquarium and sits between Jennette’s Pier and Outer Banks Pier. The view from the upstairs deck is amazing. The deck has just been renovated. The neighborhood access to the beach sits beside the house so you will see people come and go but it was generally quiet. The walk to the beach is very easy. Only a slight small incline when coming back. No high dunes to walk up or stairs to manage. The sandy area between the house and dune was just perfect for the small kids to play in the sand and kept them entertained when not at the ocean. The latch to the storm door going out to this area was broken so we had trouble keeping flies out. The only other issue we had was a broken shower head which was fixed shortly after we contacted Beach Realty. The only recommendation would be to add screens to the sliding doors on the upstairs deck. Also, make sure you always wear shoes outside in the front and when stepping on door mats (sand spurs everywhere). I would definitely stay at this home again!

2024 Spring Break
Great older home oceanfront! Pool table and hot tub much appreciated! The chairs on the top deck were just plastic - not as pictured. We had an issue with the main floor shower flooding, but the owner and realty had folks on it within hours! Great Spot for hitting the thrift stores too! Andy was a hands on owner and that was much appreciated!

Cozy cottage
This home was great for us as a small party of 3 with dogs. The location is wonderful and you can’t beat being oceanfront. We loved the cozy, old Nags Head cottage feel of this home. The upstairs space was so sweet and I could see a small group of kids absolutely loving it. The view from upstairs is fabulous. The kitchen was well equipped and even had decent knives. Unfortunately, the weather was horrible during our entire week. Better luck next time.

We had the best vacation that we have ever had in all our years. The house was so quaint and had everything we needed. Right on the beach. We woke up to the sunrise sitting on the deck drinking our coffee. The house is so close to everything. The realtor tended to our questions quickly. We will be back!

Great Place to Stay
We enjoyed our stay in Aqua Nights. Had terrible weather for four days, but the cottage was a great place to be if the beach was off limits due to weather. It could have been cleaner when we arrived; the a/c wasn't working but was fixed the day after we called. It's a little "rustic" in places but the location is great and it's much larger that it looks. We highly recommend Aqua Nights and Beach Realty.

A wonderful stay!
We stayed at Aqua Nights for the first time in June. We loved this amazing and quirky beach home! It was spacious and we loved the layout. The beds were comfortable, and we found the property spotless on arrival. We appreciated all of the little extras the owner has provided at the house. From the variety of kitchen appliances and dishes, to games and a pool table, they have thought of everything. The location is another high point of this property. It is a pristine beach with clear water and great waves for boogie boarding. We felt like we had our own stretch of beach to ourselves most days. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, but close enough to all of the stores and restaurants that you need. We we charmed by this property, and will love to stay again in the future.

The house was nice. Only a couple things to make it great. The house sleeps like 10-12 people. The dining room table only sets 6. And a place for everyone to sit outside and chat.The beds where comfy.

A cozy spot right on the beach
My family had a wonderful vacation and stay at Aqua nights. I enjoyed the eclectic and cottage feel to this beach house; it truly has a personality! We loved being able to step right out onto the beach and the beautiful view from the upstairs porch & bedroom. The house is also situated on a nice private court and located conveniently right near lots of restaurants, ice cream shoppes and family activity spots like putt putt and such. The kids loved the hot tub. I thought the house was perfect for us. Appliances worked well. The beds are very comfortable. Cute decor. Kitchen is pretty well supplied. TV's in every room. Good WiFi.
The only cons: The house did not have a grill. The front screened in patio was not cleaned or "opened" for the season. Overall it was a lovely time and I would rent this location again!

Its a great little house. Right on the beach. We enjoyed our week, even though the weather didn't cooperate--it was about 10 degrees cooler than average. Because it was so close to the beach we could easily go back and forth when the weather permitted. The view from the upper deck was great!!!
The house itself was older, but it good condition. It is close to stores, and other activities, but not too close. The beds were all comfortable, even the bunks!
The house itself was older, but it good condition. It is close to stores, and other activities, but not too close. The beds were all comfortable, even the bunks!

On the beach
House was charming and comfortable. Liked the location of a cul-de-sac, off the road that made things quieter. Front screened porch was nice, but the screen in the door needed repair.

Relaxing Vacation
We enjoyed the quaint charm of this home and appreciated the mix of old and new. The house was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The view off the deck from the second floor bedroom was amazing and it was a treat to fall asleep each night to the sound of waves crashing.

Great home!
Gorgeous little home that has been beautifully upgraded yet still has some old home charm. Can't get any closer to the beach! We will stay here again.

incredibly relaxing week
fantastic week at the beach, weather was perfect. It was as good a location as one could ask for, being right on the beach. we could hear the waves crashing at night.great time to bring our boston terrier because the beach was not crowded. view from upstairs bedroom was to die for. house was clean and well laid out. we will return

Jordan's week at the beach
We can to Nags Head to provide our 31 year old granddaughter a week to remember. Jordan is Autistic and loves to travel. Jordan loved the house we stayed at and felt very comfortable there. The beach was right out the back door of which she thought was the greatest with the one exception of the four wheeling trip to see the horses.
Well enough said , the entire family had a great week after being in lock down for several months.

Fun in the sun
We had a great week 85-90 degrees plenty of sun and cool breezes all week.The home was great and had plenty of room for everyone.The pool table and hot tub were great amenities.I recommend this stay for anyone that likes staying right on the beach.

It’s All About the View
This wonderful house is in the perfect location to enjoy the beach and all it has to offer. Step right outside your door and onto the beach! They are doing beach restoration but lucky is the pipes weren’t outside our door this week, and watching all the ships come and go gave the older generation some added excitement! The house was a bit sandy when we arrived, but the layout was nice and worked for this family of 5 plus grandparents. AC was awesome!! Every rental we’ve ever stayed in it was hot inside, not Aqua Nights! Could have used some more mixing and serving bowls. The upstairs shower has moldy caulk that needs to be replaced, and the area around the hot tub has some junk that needs to be removed and tossed out. But we thoroughly enjoyed our week and made memories to last a lifetime! Thank you!

Family Vacation
Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend a stay here! It was perfect for our small family! There were a few hiccups such as poor drainage in the showers, but only very. very, minor things that we easily worked around! No home or person is perfect of course! My family all agreed that the home was beautiful inside and had a great layout to enjoy our week together. We will be considering this as a rental option again next year if the dates are available!
