Beach week 2024
The house was cute. Smaller than I expected. The master shower was tiny and new mattresses are needed in a couple of bedroom, as well as a full size fridge in the man cave downstairs. The house was advertised as having bicycles for riding but the 2 bikes chained to poles downstairs were not in working condition and we were not given a key to unlock them. We also did not have access to the room downstairs for the first 24 hours. I was also disappointed with the proximity of the house to actual beach acc

The views from the top deck were amazing for the sunrise and the sunset!! The views from the top deck are amazing you can see the ocean. The house was in a great location. The house was so cozy!! We had the best time hanging out on the decks and it was just a short walk to the ocean!! We would definitely stay here again!!

My family and I had an amazing time at this location! Easy walking distance to the beach. The property was super clean on arrival, not even any spider webs hanging in the outside areas which is plus for me! Loved that there was a extra bathroom downstairs for extra privacy for those who wanted it. The only con I could see is the walls are paper thin, you can hear everything that goes on in every other room. I would absolutely stay again!

I rented After Dune Delight for 11 total nights and I loved the property. I am an owner as well in OBX and the house was very inviting loved the floors and couches and very well decorated. Simply relaxing
The Outer banks is one of my favorite places to vacation, it is truly relaxing for people of all ages. One of my favorite places to visit is the Wright Brothers National Memorial, I enjoy the simple things in life, when in the outer banks it is a must that I visit Duck Donuts. (Donuts are made to order). However due to COVID we choose not to visit to many restaurants we choose to order in. The tides were a bit rough and we could not walk the beach, But we still had a great vacation.

It's a nice place with basic amenities and furniture, but has all you need for a simple stay at the beach. Location is great, close to several beach accesses and many shops and restaurants. The decks on the home are nice for relaxing. Overall, nothing extravagant but a good value for a vacation home for a small family.

Our stay at First Wife's was wonderful! The best thing about this place is the location - just a short walk to the beach. The top balcony was a plus and the parking and overall room space was great for all 8 of us. Beach Realty was convenient to work with and I would definitely recommend this cottage to a friend.

Family time.
House was nice and clean, needed a little maintenance tho,hvac vents were rusty, living room ceiling has 2 long cracks and different shades of white paint on ceiling, and all the light switchs in the bedrooms only turned off tvs and not lighting. Amenities said horseshoes I did not see, and volleyball, there was poles for net but did the net was missing. But would still stay here again.

Great Beachside Value!
We were a bit apprehensive to book this home because there are some unflattering reviews, but we went for it and we had a great time! We are a family of five with kids 8, 10 and 13 with two dogs. It was the perfect fit for us; easy walk/bike ride to the beach a few blocks away, quiet neighborhood safe for the kids to play, house is a perfect layout and tons of space under the house for all the gear. The location is excellent to restaurants, groceries and stores.

My Happy Place
We spent 2 weeks here for our anniversary, Oct/Nov. The property was exactly as described, and clean & well-maintained. It's not super-modern, but so comfortable. I cannot say enough about Beach Realty's courteous service. From the rooftop deck you can see the ocean, & the Wright Bros. Memorial to the west. First Wife's was a verycomfortable place to stay
After paying for this rental, I read the reviews further and seen where others were voicing that the beach access was very far away, So we became concerned that we might be inconvenienced. But after getting there and seeing the property our worries were unfounded. It's only about two blocks to the side and one block up to the beach access, which worked out fine for us as we like walking with our dogs in a relaxed easy pace. 40th Anniversary trip
Overall, very pleased. The carpet was worn, with pet stains, some large. The furniture was comfortable. The location was central to most everywhere we wanted to go. Office personnel were very friendly & answered any questions we had. We had one minor maintenance issue, & that was corrected the same day.

Bike Week - Weekend Rental
Came down for the beginning of Bike Week and was familiar with this house as it is close to another house we routinely stay at. I was concerned when I learned that the house was open to smoking but after arriving didn't notice it at all. Great location and Nice house. Would definitely stay there again.
