Attention Wine Lovers!
You can't miss the 30-acre Currituck vineyard to your left on 158 Caratoke Highway when traveling from the North to the Outer Banks. Make sure you stop in for a tasting or to pick up some choice wines for your stay.
Avoid the traffic and enjoy some time on the water! We have hundreds of homes located just across the Currituck sound in Corolla and Duck. A fun way to get to the vineyard is via a Private Vineyard Cruise that can take up to 18 passengers by boat from Duck across the sound.

Take the group out sightseeing. There are three of the five Outer Banks lighthouses located in our stretch of the Outer Banks. If staying up North in Corolla, the Currituck Beach Lighthouse is located adjacent to the Historic Whalehead Club. Consider a guided tour, perhaps the thrill of a ghost tour event for your group!
About an hour south, you will find the Bodie Island Lighthouse located in South Nags Head on Pea Island and the Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse in Manteo on Roanoke Island.
Manteo is also home of the award-winning Lost Colony outdoor live production, which offers group discounts.
Another visitor hot spot is the historical site where motorized aviation was born! The Wright Brothers Memorial and Museum is located in Kill Devil Hills. The monument sits atop Kill Devil Hill, marking the spot where brothers Orville and Wilbur first took flight. Visit the monument and take in views of the ocean and sound. Walk along the path marking locations where they landed to the reconstructed camp buildings and museum.
