You should spend at least one day of your Outer Banks vacation exploring lower Currituck. Places like the Cotton Gin, Sanctuary Vineyards, and the H2OBX waterpark are important to the local culture here. Somedays when the beach is packed, or the sand is too hot, it's nice to escape to the waterpark for a day of fun with the whole family!
Outer Banks Family Fun
H2OBX is fun for the whole family! They have areas to lounge and relax group slides that hold up to 6 people and areas for younger and older kids. Mom and Dad can lounge and relax while they watch their younger kids go down the slides, and the older kids go off to do the bigger slides.
Kids Attractions
There is so much for the kids to do at H2OBX! There is Calico Jack's Cove, which is basically a waterpark playground, multiple slides, and a smaller wave pool called Twin Tides. The slides are perfect for adults to go down with their kids, so you can have fun together!

Rent a Cabana
It's so nice to have your own spot to put your stuff, and where everyone can meet up at. They have cabana's in different sections, so you can reserve one closer to the rides you're interested in. Cabana's come with waiter service, bottles of water, fruit in the morning, and treats in the afternoon. Deluxe cabanas have a flat screen and hold more people.
