4th Of July Fireworks & Events
The Outer Banks is the best place to be to celebrate Independence Day! With several fireworks displays on the beach such as Corolla, Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head and Roanoke Island, you'll have plenty of options for enjoying brilliant fireworks with a picturesque background! Fireworks spectacles typically take place after dark on July 4th. The Town of Duck has a daytime 4th of July parade and celebration.

41st Annual Rogallo Kite Festival - June 16th & 17th at Jockey's Ridge State Park
45th Annual Wright Kite Festival - July 15th & 16th at Wright Brother's Monument in Kill Devil Hills

Summer Music & Concerts
Summer 2023 has a full line-up of concerts to take place. There will be several big names appearing at the beautiful Roanoke Festival Park.

Also, the Town of Duck hosts a weekly Music on the Green series with live music on select Thursday's through Summer. In addition to music events, Duck's town park also hosts weekly magic shows, yoga and movie nights!

The Outer Banks Running Company has so many exciting running events taking place this Summer.
One of their newest events, H2OBX Dash & Splash will take place August 6th from 8am - 10am at H2OBX Waterpark in Powells Point!
