A/C COOLING: Thermostat Settings to Ensure Your Vacation Homes HVAC Can Optimally Cool
PLEASE NOTE: On check-in days, doors to the home have been open for departing guests, inspectors, and housekeeping.
Follow these steps to ensure the homes hvac can come back to temperature more quickly
1st: Verify that all doors and windows are closed and blinds are lowered (Keeping the blinds and drapes closed as much as possible will help keep the temperature down so the system can cool more quickly)
2nd: use ceiling fans where possible to circulate cooler air throughout 3rd: ensure all easily accessible vents are fully open in each living space (This allows proper air flow throughout the home)
3rd: Ensure the thermostat is set no lower than 70° to avoid system failure. Please set between 72° and 74°
Touch Screen? Some systems require touch activation first to wake up the screen; simply tap the screen to view system options.
Remember keep blinds & drapes closed as much as possible, keep doors and windows closed, use ceiling fans, allow 1-2 Hours for the system to cool. Please allow 1-2 hours for the system to cool down prior to requesting service. If the temperature displayed on the thermostat does not lower within 1-2 hours please give us a call at (800) 635-1559.
