Ashley's Espresso Parlour
Ashley's Espresso Parlour & All Time Coffee Roasting Company is located on Helga street in Kill Devil Hills. You can't miss it, as it's located directly on the bypass between 168 and NC12 (the beachroad). Not only are the beans roasted on site, but you will enjoy the vibe with lots of places (inside and out) to enjoy your beverage surrounded by art from local artisans.

Front Porch Cafe
Front Porch Cafe has locations in Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head, and Manteo. They offer wireless internet at all locations, so it is a great place to sit and get some work done if you need to. They roast their own coffee beans with their roasting company, Kill Devil Coffee Roasters. They source their beans from independent farmers all over the world, so you know that you are supporting a good cause when you a buy a cup, or bag of coffee! You can also order their beans online.
Duck Cottage in Duck, NC
Duck Cottage is located in the Waterfront Shops of downtown Duck, which is just off of HWY 12. The building used to be a hunting cottage in the early 1920's. They are known for their coconut crunch coffee, which you can buy a bag for yourself. They sell baked goods as well, so it is a great spot for a quick breakfast! This is the place for you if you are a book lover. Sit and read while you drink your coffee, or buy a book to read while you're on the beach. They also own a book store in Manteo.
Higher Grounds in Kill Devil Hills
Higher Grounds is a coffee and ice cream shop located on Colington Island in Kill Devil Hills. Built on stilts, they have awesome views of the Kitty Hawk Bay. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, baked goods, Hersey's and homemade ice cream, plus awesome coffee. They allow dogs in their shop, so bring them by for a pup cup! Wave Riders in Nags Head, NC
Located in the Pirates Quay Shoppes in Nags Head, this is not your ordinary coffee shop. It's also a deli and a pub too! They serve breakfast and lunch. Not only do they have beer on tap, but you can also buy packaged beer and wine. This place is so cool, you can't miss it with the big lighthouse in their roof! They suffered from a fire a couple months back, so it would be awesome to stop by and support them!
