The house has an great layout that let everyone have their privacy. Direct beach access was close and convenient. The kitchen was well stocked but the quality of the pots and silverware was low. There was a musty smell in the main living room and dead flies in some bedrooms, but overall pretty clean. Wish the trash cans had lids

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dunes for Days. Being across the street from Austins was a big plus, we all like their fresh seafood. The house has plenty of room, the loft was great for the kids to hang out.

My stay was amazing a couple of things to bring to your attention. the toasters did not work, the 4th floor shower feels like your going to go through the floor, and the master bedroom with the sliding glass door maybe should have black out curtain I know that this is great for seeing the amazing sunrise but sometimes you just want to sleep on vaca and not be woken up at 6 am because the sun is blinding you. Again just wanted to bring it to your attention but the house is beautiful and this was my second

Good choice for a large crowd, but there are issues

One the plus side---This house has a great location. Size is wonderful for a large crowd. Bedrooms are large, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are clean and functioning. Kitchen is large.
On the not so good side--beach access is currently limited--sand is completely covering steps down to beach, making it difficult to get to the beach for most and impossible and dangerous if your mobility is at all limited.
Carpeting on main floor is old and dirty--the kids feet were black if they walked on it bare

Great ocean front home

Loved the layout of the house. Great homey feeling very spacious rooms and absolutely loved the screened in porch!! The only downside was the steps to the beach were covered by the sand so it was like climbing a sand dune it was a workout but will definitely stay here again! Loved the locyand the parking accommodations were excellent!!!!! as weve had trouble in the past at other rentals I highly recommend this property!

All-the-family summer vacation

The house was perfect for a large group. The bedrooms were on all 4 levels giving plenty of privacy. Many rooms had stunning ocean views and the numerous balconies offered either sunrise or sunset options.
The location across from Austins, Brew Thru, produce market and 7-11 was perfect.

Wonderful Family Vacation

We had a wonderful vacation. There were some issues that could use some attention but overall the house was well stocked especially the kitchen, however a 2nd refrigerator would have been nice for a house that accommodates so many people.

Dunes for days is a not just a brag, it's also a warning!

Despite the rainy weather and gale-force winds we had a perfect family get together. Thank you for a wonderful beach week.

BTW, they're not kidding about the sand covering the stairs. It's now up on the walkway and halfway to the deck.

Terrific views, comfortable home

We had a great stay at Dunes for Days. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds as well as the furniture in main living area were comfortable. We especially enjoyed spending time on the dune front deck and watching the sunset from the covered west side porch. Unfortunately, several storms over the winter caused sand to completely cover the steps down to the beach. We managed to get up and down the steep slope, but it was definitely a challenge.

Winter Visit to Nags Head

We spent the winter break at Nags Head. It was not crowded, which we loved! The weather was a perfect 68 degrees. The home was large and comfortable and everything went smoothly. The staff were responsive to our needs. I would suggest that more attention be paid to cleaning the bathrooms. Also, prior to arrival, I suggest the staff ensure the stairway leading from the house to the beach be cleared of sand so the beach is accessible.

This is a large house that was perfect for our group. It was clean and well maintained. It is even larger than it looks in pictures. We thought it could use a couple more tvs in some of the bedrooms and/or game room. But we were very happy with this property.

A spacious house right at the beach with plenty of ammenities

A very nice house (and pet friendly) with room for everyone including a lovely deck leading to a private boardwalk to the beach. We pitched a sunshade on the deck leading to the beach and spent most of our time either on the beach or on the deck overlooking the ocean. It was idyllic.
