Amazing location and comfortable home
This was our first time staying at Family Tradition and we had such a wonderful stay. The location is amazing -- right on the sound with a dock that we used for kayaking and SUPing and a few minutes walk to the beach. The beds were all very comfy and the house got such great light. We had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking dinners. I can't say enough about the location! The deck was also so nice for hanging out in the evenings. We had a group of 6 adults and 3 kids and were all very comfortable

Make Family Tradition your family tradition!
Our family loves Family Tradition. It is the perfect house to enjoy a week at the beach. It is located sound front where you can enjoy the sunset every evening but only a few minutes walk to the beach. The kitchen is fully equipped and the accommodations are great.

2 a weeks at the Beach!
Weve been coming here for years. This year we hit a weather pattern low the whole vacation. The Sound was blown out, it was foggy and chilly, but you cant beat the view and we left very relaxed!

Weve been coming to Duck as a family for 10years and to this house for 6yrs. This location is perfect for our love of paddle boarding, kayaking and sunset gazing on the sound side and beach walking, sunning, and swimming in the Oceanside. Our ages range from 27 to 85 and its perfect for everyone!

Great Week at Family Tradition
Wonderful home where we was able to gather three generations for a wonderful week. The house was warm and inviting. We enjoyed family time in the great room and sharing meals ar the large dining table. The views from the deck were amazing of the sound. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. The dock was great for fishing and launching the kayaks. It was a very short walk to the beach where everyone enjoyed the spring weather. Loved shopping in Duck and visiting the Whalehead Club for the Easter Egg hunt. It was

Great soundfront location!
Would highly recommend Family Tradition for a stay on the Outer Banks. This was our second time at the house, and I would definitely rent again. It was wonderful to wake up to soundfront views, but only be a 5 min, or less, walk to the ocean. The house is nicely appointed and the layout allows guests to congregate easily, or spread out and have their own space.

Loved Family Tradition!
This was definitely one of the best houses we've stayed in - have been coming to OBX for 20+ years. The sound views and proximity to beach can't be beat! And the house is very nicely decorated - the view of the sound from the master bedroom was what sold me and it did not disappoint! Absolutely loved this home and will be back!

A Wonderful Family Tradition
This was our 5th year staying in this lovely home. As the family grows older and we are now empty nesters, having a whole week of family time is even more precious. Our 14 1/2yr lab even made the trip and got to splash in the waves one last time. We look forward to coming back!
