Bring the kitchen
Overall, as good as always, but the kitchen is very poorly stocked to the point that you can't cook and end up buying the things you need. The regular coffee pot is also broken and leaks water. Not everyone uses k cups .

The kitchen inventory has been properly restocked, and a new stove has been installed as well. House fit the bill. The electric outlets in the kitchen need attention. Toilet in jacuzzi tub room needs to be looked at. Should not clog during normal use.

Great Location Comfortable House
Although the property definitely needs some maintenance and repairs, overall we were pleased. The kitchen was one of the most well stocked we’ve had. We did not like the beds especially the one in the ground floor level bedroom. There’s some room for improvement there. The layout of the house was nice and definitely gives a multi family group room and privacy. The “in town” but beachfront location was great. We were not impressed with the exterior rear and side doors that do not lock. The doors are warped with defective locks and could literally be pulled open from the outside when they were supposed to be locked. Some members of our group did not care for the all streaming TV experience. We appreciate the pet friendly policy but would have appreciated access to basic cleaning tools like a swiffer mop and a vacuum cleaner so we could keep up after our pets. Cleaning crew should check and clean under beds to ensure nothing is left that could harm a child or pet. For example, we found spilled medication under one of the beds. Also, the cleaning crew should check the laundry machines. We found extremely soiled unwashed bed linens in the washer.

Best Beach Vacay
This house was the perfect setting for our family of 5, a boyfriend, a friend from Chicago and 2 dogs! The location right on the beach was fabulous! The neighborhood is lovely and felt extremely safe. The kitchen cabinets are in rough shape but is stocked very well for anything you want to cook. We will definitely be back!

Awesome location, house needs some updating
We are OBX veterans, having stayed at numerous properties over 20+ years up and down the OBX. This is a great location - proximity to the beach, shopping and restaurants, as well as a great section in general. The house is in need of some updating and had a few minor issues. The property management company was reasonably responsive however so no major concerns.

Great Beach Vacation!
Perfect location. Quiet, clean beach and close to restaurants, food store, shops and attractions/activities. The house was just what we wanted for our stay. Private access to the beach and nice views. The attached sun deck on the dune was perfect. Quiet neighborhood. House was very comfortable and while it had a need for some very minor updates, the layout and location more than made up for it. Would stay here again!

We loved the location and the decking on the house. Thank you for letting us have our kids' dogs there, they were the highlight of the stay! The house could use some TLC - there was paint chipping, and we could have used a larger kitchen table (we had 7 adults there). But the house worked out well and it was so nice to have a beautiful ocean view. (Beach view would have been even better but it was nice to have the big dunes too.) One problem we encountered was that twice workmen were sent to work on the property (we had not requested them, it was the owner or previous tenant.) Although I requested they wear masks when they entered the house, and the realty agreed they would, they didn't. ("It's in the truck.")

Good rental in great location
This is a good rental home that allows pets. Our stay was comfortable. The description of the rental is accurate, and the property was clean.
During our stay the televisions were not all working and the remotes did not have working batteries. We swapped out batteries, and the management company was notified and very responsive.
We do wish there was a television in each bedroom (especially for rainy days when everyone wants a place to escape and enjoy a show - and everyone wants to watch a different television program). We were unable to get all televisions to work (or it was remote related). Instructions for television use would be beneficial on site.
