Great place to stay in Duck
House was clean and well appointed. Close to beach, and easily walkable to town. Great house, only item that could be better is deck by the pool is old and starting to break apart.

Very Nice
The house was very comfortable for my family.
It was clean and well stocked for what we needed. Although I'm glad we brought our own beach chairs, because although the description said they were provided at the house, we did not find any. The pool water was nice and clear, although it didn't appear that it was vacuumed before we arrived. beautiful new decking everywhere except the pool area which is in need of replacing. Nice location and the walk to the beach wasn't bad. I was surprised how narrow the available beach space was. Not much room for people and we weren't even there during peak season! I realize there's nothing anyone can do about that but just thought I'd mention it. It's a short walk to to town for shopping, eating or taking a nice walk on the boardwalk. Overall, really enjoyed our time and stay at the Duck R Way! I would stay here again!

Perfect location, excellent house
We really enjoyed our stay at Duck R Way. The house was clean and comfortable for our family. The location was great for walking or biking all around Duck and a short walk to the beach access.

Decline in quality of Home
Overall, we loved the home, and this was our second season in a row. The home provided for most of our needs with a reasonable and competitive price. On the downside, our list of areas that needed attention, were not addressed nor attended to. The home did receive a fresh coat of outside paint which looked good, but the dollars invested should have been made to the dangerous nails and splintering deck in the pool area. The home was looking tired in many areas. The pool deck, toilets loose with sewar odors and a grill that did not work. All of these items were pointed out last year and despite a request for the grill and the toilets to be repaired during our stay this year, there was NO response. In addition, one of the burners on the stove was not working. In spite of the problems, we loved the location and decided to rent next year. We were very surprised at the large increase of 27% in the rental fee and being charged for linens instead of them being included in the house fee the past two seasons. In addition, the processing fee increase by 35%. Not a good feeling with the service received. Our phone calls and emails to the realtor took a long time to be returned and addressed, which did not encourage us to believe that the house would be any better next year. To complete our frustration and disappointment, we should have also received a %5 discount for our second time and did not receive that value this year until it was pointed out. Beach Realty was diligent in pestering for us to sign for next year but took a long time to return calls to address our issues. In short, not a very good experience and the value, condition and service simply does not support the increases.

Great spot!
We have stayed in Duck for a few years and this is our favorite house. A very short walk to the beach and quick bike ride down to town. The house is well kept and comfortable! The pool area is awesome so you can swim without running back into the house. We were happy with communication from the rental company as well!

Fun at Duck NC
We had a great stay in DuckRWay in Duck, NC. This house was in a great location between the beach and the little town of Duck. We love Duck Donuts and could walk there. Very nice beach house and pool/hot tub.

Great stay!
We had an amazing stay. The beach is truly only about 3-4 min walk away. The pool was absolutely pristine and the house was very well kept. Would definitely stay again!! Only complaints would be that we requested a few items from the property company (broken screen and missing tub stopper) that were not resolved during our stay.

fit our family of 6 adults and 4 kids well. Was impressed with the pool area and size of the pool. Very short walk to the beach, easy for small children to walk back and forth.

Family Get-away
Our family had a wonderful time at Duck R Way. During our week, we had high winds from an off-shore hurricane so we couldn't go in the ocean.
Thankfully the landscaping around the private pool sheltered us from the winds so we could really enjoy the pool. The fact that it has a bathroom and kitchenette in the pool area is awesome, minimizing the in-and-out of the house. Still enjoyed long walks on the beach and appreciated how close the house is to the Beach. Great stay!!!

Great place to stay
We had a great vacation at Duck R Way. We had two families with three young kids each stay together and it was perfect. Location was great - 3 or 4 minute walk to the beach was super convenient. You're a short walk to lots of shops and restaurants too, if you're lucky enough to go during non-COVID19 times. The pool set up was great as well. The master bath is a little tight and awkward, but who cares. Great place, we all agreed we'd stay there again.

Wonderful Family Vacation
We stayed for a week at Duck r way. We had 3 families - 6 adults, 4kids and a baby. The accommodations were very comfortable.loved the dining room table that could seat us all at the same time for dinner and games. The location was perfect for going back and forth to the ocean beach. The pool was fabulous! The house was well stocked. Our only complaint was the master bathroom. It was very dated and the shower was difficult to access - needed to climb into a whirlpool tub that was a high and awkward step. I ofter used the pool shower! But overall the location made it fabulous!
