Absolute Paradise
We have stayed at many houses throughout the years in Corolla, and Mabuhay was one of the best houses for a family of four with a dog. The location is ideal, with a short walk to the beach in a lovely neighborhood. The entire family enjoyed the spacious pool after a long day in the surf. The house grounds are well maintained, and we loved that the owners have not cut down the trees and shrubs surrounding Mabuhay, giving it a feel of seclusion. The house was clean upon entry, and the cleaning crew finished early, allowing for a half day on the beach, a thoughtful gesture that made us feel genuinely valued. Thanks to the owners and Beach Realty for a memorable stay.

Perfect for a small family
This was our third time staying at Mabuhay. You really can’t beat the location, amenities and space for our family of five plus our dog. It truly is perfect for our family. We do wish there was a hot tub, but not a deal breaker. A few repairs to the deck would be great, other than that we have no complaints! We can’t wait to go back in a year.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mabuhay. For two humans and one dog, it was the perfect sized home in a quiet neighborhood just a short distance to the beach. While our weather wasn't the greatest, we enjoyed sitting on the deck and by the nice pool when the sun peeked out. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

This house was nice. Would be nice to have a bit larger common area for gathering with the family. The washer/dryer is in a large closet off of the parking area under the house; you have to go downstairs & outside to access it. Washer would not drain on first use and one of the shower drains was clogged also so we had to call for service. They came promptly and repaired both issues (shower drain needed snaking; washer had a faulty capacitor to be replaced). Pool is on the smaller side and not a huge area to sit around it but it was clean & looks relatively new. Overall we had an enjoyable stay.

Perfect Getaway

House was great for 2 adults 2 adult kids and our dog. Close beach. Pool area very nice. Few things, kitchen area was not clean. Deck needs some nails pounded. Two big bundled branches on both sides of driveway were eye sores. That said we would return to this property again without hesitation . Also, trying figure TV's out took a little getting used too

We had an awesome time at the ocean and in the pool. The house needed some work like nails popping and you could not walk barefoot on the porch. It looked like it was not totally cleaned before we arrived, stove top was dirty. Also not happy with the linden package

Nice cozy house
Very good property. The house is cute and nicely accessorized. The pool is wonderful. Would have been nice to have a tub mat in the downstairs bath. tub is very slippery. The house has beds for 10 people, but I think it would be cramped with 10. It was perfect for the 4 of us. The kitchen is beautiful, but small and there if no place to put pantry items. What should be the pantry is full of pots pans cups and bowls. All that being said, I would stay there again.

Wonderful clean home that two families used to vacation together- not a huge space but perfect place to sleep and use as a base for a short walk to the beach, and a short walk to groceries! Loved the fact it had a pool and very close to the ocean- kids had so much fun in both!

Welcomed to Mabuhay -hard to leave��
Our week at Mabuhay was all I’d hoped for——a comfortable spot for our family gathering of 8 including 2 toddlers. The house was very clean, very well equipped, close to beach, great pool.....perfect! Love how the owners have updated the house but kept the original beach house charm. Very homey yet tastefully decorated. Enjoyed fresh seafood from both Dockside and Seaside Market. Loved the fish tacos at Agave Roja. Discovered great tapas at Metropolis. We would definitely return to Mabuhay!

Mabuhay Rental review
We enjoyed our week at Mabuhay. There were 6 people and 2 dogs. There is sleeping for 10, but the house would get crowded with that number. The location is great, only a short walk to the beach. The house is really nice, they have done a recent remodel. The only negative would be it could use a little landscaping tlc. The pool was very nice. Only 2 minutes to grocery store and Duck Donuts! We would stay here again!

Great place to stay!!
This place was great! It is so close to the beach as well as many other activities. The place was mostly clean. There were dirty fingerprints on the doors and surrounding walls and attention was needed to the floors under the beds where we stored our suitcases, but other than that, very clean. As mentioned by others, the landscaping needs some attention. This is understandable with a new pool being installed. I would definitely rent this place again when we return to OBX!!

Had an issue with the sheets that were supplied were not to the standard expected but the rental company were very responsive and supported us in changing them quickly
