Home Away From Home
This was the third time we rented, An Eagles Flight, Whalehead beach home. There would truly be a fourth time, if our dates were not conflicting with it already being rented. This home has everything you need and then some! We were a family of seven adults and two children, the size of the house, and the way it is set up, was perfect for all of us. The newly renovated kitchen added an updated feeling and was completely well stocked with everything you would need. The pool is very nice and the size is large for a beach home. There is also a children’s pool which was wonderful, since we had a 2 1/half year older with us. Working with Beach Reality was delightful. They were prompt in responding to any questions we had and. always made us feel secure they had our backs. Highly recommend this house to anyone thinking of coming to the northern end of the Outer Banks.

Great house and great week
We are a family of 11. We have stayed in a different house the past five years and all said this was the best one so far. Easy drive and walk to the beach, comfortable living spaces, washer and dryer on mid-level and kids enjoyed the pool table and the pool.
The kitchen had all we needed except a colander and sharp knives. The table fit everyone with room to spare! All bathrooms were nice, and with amazing water pressure.

Great House
The house was everything we expected it to be. It was clean, well kept and had everything we needed. The pool area was fantastic. The only minus was there were no beach chairs and no broom to sweep the pool deck.

Corolla Beach Vacation 2022

All Under One Roof!
This is the second year we rented this ideal home for our family vacation. Our two beautiful grandsons were the center of attention for our in-laws, our daughter’s family and us. The space and layout of An Eagle’s Flight provided an extremely good arrangement where all felt comfortable! It is a short walk to the beach, a 5 minute drive to shopping of all types and a two minute drive to the lighthouse park. The walking trail along the bay provided shade and scenery on some very warm days. The home is in great shape and a new children’s swing set was a hit for our 3 year older. The kiddie pool provided afternoon shade for the 7 month older to splash and kick! Would recommend this rental to future stayers! We truly hope to return for our third year, of a 2 week vacation, next summer!!

There were a few issues...pool heater didn't work consistently and the TV in the lower level bedroom never worked. After a maintenance call someone came out very promptly but never fixed the TV issue.

Fantastic Time!
We’ve experienced over 25 years of OBX family trips, and this year was among the best. The home was perfect for our large family (4 generations), the pool had plenty of furniture, and location couldn’t have been better. It was so easy to get to the beach AND the sound. Shopping and groceries are close by. The kitchen wascwell stocked- I am sure we used every dish and pan at least 10 times! Thank you for a great trip!!

Family fun and relaxation!
An Eagle’s Flight offered just the right amount of space for our three family vacation! The large living room and open spaced kitchen allowed for daily family dinners, game playing, and conversation! Having your own bathroom was a true luxury! The pool is big and offers hours of fun for all ages. The walk to the beach was totally fine from tots to grandparents. There were a few areas that needed addressing, but the real estate agency was fast to solve these concerns. We would rent this home again.

Perfect for our group of 17 with young kids
We really loved this place- the masters were spacious and nice for each family to have their own bathroom. The pool was great and outdoor shower. Lives the kids room with adjoining bathroom. Kitchen and living room area was spacious with a ton of seating. Walk to beach was close with a walk down the very nice path.

First I have to say that the communication from the management company was awesome. We had a mid communication on linens and they sorted it out right away. This house haha everything we needed. Short walk to the beach, we enter a golf cart to help with some of the older members. Thanks for a great vacation

Family Getaway
We took our family of 14 to the Eagle's Landing for vacation. There were 8 adults and 6 children. The layout of the house could not have been more perfect. Everyone had plenty of space. The pool was large and enjoyed by all. We were a few blocks from the ocean but not hard to access. Plenty of space to park at the house. We had a wonderful vacation and hope to return soon.

The perfect large family vacation home.
Having 4 married children and 7 grandsons ages 8 to 3 mos getting together is hard under one roof . This was the perfect location and home for us to make great memories . This home have everything we needed. Home designed for familes with children and well equiped with baby gates ,beds and highchair.
Kiddie pool was a huge hit with the family and grown up pool as well.
