Description

Beautifully appointed, large family-friendly home, Oceanside in Corolla's Ocean Sands Section 0. This 6 bedroom, 5.5 bath home, with over-sized athletic pool (14'x28') and hot tub is sure to please. Enjoy water volleyball, relax in the sun on one of the many decks, view the ocean from your private Ship's Watch, and take an easy walk to the oceanfront.

A large kitchen with state of the art appliances make the cooking experience even more enjoyable. The ample dining and spacious living area combine for a terrific entertaining and gathering space, with easy access to the Ship's Watch. There are Smart TV's throughout the home. A Master Suite with King bed top off this gorgeous home, with a private deck.

Two more Master Suites with King beds offer private deck access on the mid-level. Two guest rooms share a jack-and-jill bath with double sinks. A powder room/half bath is easily accessible from both top and mid levels.

There is something for everyone in your group! A game room with wet bar and pool table, laundry, and a bunk room with private bath finish the ground level. Access the large pool deck directly from the game room. It is the perfect family gathering place.

Lounging by the pool never sounded so good! Outdoor speakers are strategically placed around the pool area. Speaking of the pool, it is the largest in Ocean Lakes! 200 Yards to the Beach.

Property was in a great location. Good distance to the beach. The main complaint is the A/C went out and had to call twice cause it wasn’t fixed the first time and some trash from maintenance was left behind. Fans in the bedrooms are very loud and squeaky.

Bella Madrey

Great location! The house is easy walking distance to the Beach, and not far from Restaurants and shopping. The only down side is that the mattresses were not very comfortable, and there were no toys/books for children. Other houses we have rented have had these items, so we were surprised that Bella Madrey had none. Overall I would recommend Bella Madrey as the location is so close to the beach!

We had some issues with this house. Most of them were fixed. the biggest complaint was the hot tub. We went with our children and grandchildren so they're very disappointed that they couldn't use it for the week.

Review for Bella Madrey Vacation Rental in Corolla

We all enjoyed our stay at Bella Madrey. The property is conveniently located about one block to the beach. The pool is good sized and so we did not need to use the community pool at all. When we moved in, we found the property to be very clean (inside and outside) and everything was in working order. There are two shopping centers within minutes of the property including a Harris Teeter and a Food Lion. There are a number of restaurants and attractions also nearby. Our three grandkids enjoyed playing putt-putt golf. We have zero complaints about the property. We would definitely stay there if we decide to vacation in Corolla again.

We have been doing beach vacations for 22 years now. I blame myself for the things I was not happy with. I should have researched better. I didn’t realize the house was in a HOA community. The houses were on top of each other. Drones were flown over the community daily. The HOA will not let you rent scooters and park in the driveway so that was a no go. The pool does not get enough sunshine through the day so the pool is very cold and no heater available to help situation. My biggest upset was the mattresses, I swear they were prison issued lol . It was horrible on the body. Everyone was hurting. We had ages from 22-54. Enough complaining..the positives were plentiful. Great layout to the house, spacious for sure. Clean too. The walk to the beach was not to far either. We had a good time. We just love the beach�� also, there is a lifeguard close by the beach entrance. That is always great to have.

My family and I had a wonderful time - one block from beach and pool/hot tub was wonderful. Beach was not crowded which allowed social distancing. House was clean and provided good space for a family of 4.

A WEEK AT BELLA MADRE August 2019

Overall, our week was enjoyable. We noticed a few small issues when we checked in, sliding door lock was broke, 2 cabinet shelves were broke, and a gate latch to the pool was broken. A text to the rental company had someone was there within 2 hours and quick repairs were made on each.

The house cleanliness was fine. The furniture was in good shape and the decor was as the pictures showed. Our kids enjoyed the pool table and of course the in-ground pool and hot tub.

There were a few things we wished were better during the stay. First, although, internet was offered in the house we noticed that it was difficult to connect. The process to connect was straightforward but sometimes someones device would connect while someone's right next to them would not. When we were able to get online the speed at which things loaded was extremely slow. The other issue was the comfort of the beds. 2 of the King suites had adults staying in them and both reported that the beds were extremely uncomfortable as well as loud and squeaky with little movement during the night.

Other than those minor inconveniences, our group enjoyed the property and the rental company and would recommend both to others.

Bella Madrey was very clean, a block from beach access, and five minutes to the grocery and restaurants. It had every amenity we needed for a family of five. Great communication from Beach Realty before and during our trip. We had a few maintenance issues, and after they were reported someone came the next day. A great community to walk, bike, many friendly families out and about. Did I mention how clean the house was? Very impressed. One of our best vacations overall!

Great week in a beautiful house

Everything was wonderful from booking to arrival and through our stay. We have rented from other companies in the past and this company was just a great or better. I really appreciated that they sent and email with a suggested list of items to pack (reminded me of a few things we always forget) and we even got into the house early which was amazing! I know this is a new house so there were a couple little things that could be worked on. The bunk beds need to be tightened (not super surprising at the end of summer rental season) and one had a broken ladder rung we only noticed towards the end) the tall dressers in kids rooms should definitely be anchored to the walls and were a bit tippy. Other than that the house and pool were beautiful and comfortable for our three families. The flexibility of tvs in the rooms meant the kids could have some quiet time after hours at the beach or pool. We didn't try the hot tub because it was in the upper 90s all week but I'm sure it was lovely. Also the rental company promptly got us a new propane tank when we told them the spare was empty which was nice. Overall a great experience! Also, the neighborhood is beautiful with new homes and quiet streets. Very close to Harris Teeter, Duck Donuts, and the Timbuktu shopping center.

Contemporary Beach House

Bella Madrey is only 200 yards from the beach and has a terrific pool that can be lit up at night. The hot tub and grill were fully functional as well. The house has a good layout, ideal for 3 families + kids. There is a mini-pool table and 2nd fridge next to the lower entrance that made it easy to store food for quick loading into the cooler for the beach. The house is stocked with items for the pool and beach including chairs, umbrellas, a cart, and a deck box with items like floats and noodles for the pool. The house was in great condition and quite clean. The one negative was that there were multiple lightbulbs out -- one in the stairwell, and a couple outside the house. Also, the cushions and backs for the chairs in the crow's nest area are not secured down to the frame, making it a bit dangerous to sit. But overall, a great rental with all of the amenities and proximity to the beach to help justify the price.

Beautiful house great location

We have been vacationing since 1996 to the outer banks. The location is nice because the beach does not get as busy as other spots since the lake limits access from sound side rentals. This house is brand new and is shows. Everything needed for a vacation at the outer banks is there for cooking and enjoying the beach. Small items that were to be expected I called and the owner called back and was very helpful. They also vacationed here for years and were coming down the following week. After talking to him he understood and was going to work out the new house "bugs". Thank you for a great stay.

Greathouse with 2 issues. 1)The air conditioner on the top floor worked fabulously however the one on the middle level did little more than push around warm air. At times the temperature on the second level was above 80 degrees. 2) This is a six bedroom home. The cable is set to allow no more than 3 televisions to operate at one time. With 15 guests you should be able to view at any time regardless of the number of others accessing the cable.
