The location is excellent. The house is pleasant. But there were flaws in its maintenance, and no follow-up when requested.

Overall a Great Stay

Overall we had a great stay at Game Changer! It was an easy booking with Beach Realty & they were quick to respond when small issues popped up. We had just enough room for everyone in our party to have their own space without there being too much house for our relatively small party. The house isn't as up to date as the pictures make it appear, however, for all intents and purposes it served us well. The view was wonderful, the beach was clean & not crowded at the time of our stay. We had easy access to special treats & attractions without being on top of the main highway and crowds.

At the time of booking, it stated there was a pool being installed, however, this never came to fruition. However, we were compensated and having access to the YMCA (which is very close by) was a nice surprise. The description states that there is a 2nd full-sized fridge, washer & dryer, however, we never did find these. The fridge in the kitchen is a bit on the small size, so I wouldn't plan to stock it for a full week. The beach access behind the house is a bit of a steep walk down a sand dune, so this limited some older members of our party with mobility issues in having easy access to the beach.

Again, we truly enjoyed our first trip to Nags Head. If you're looking for a decent place to stay with your furry friends, Game Changer is a good choice.
