Return Family Beach Vacation 2024
We just love the outer banks. This trip is a escape from reality for us each and every year. The rental process is super easy and we try to renew our week each year. The cottage provides the best of all worlds: semi-views of the ocean, community pool, and homelike atmosphere. The property has provided the basic needs we have needed over the years including high chair, pack-n-play, washing machine/ dryer, and basic kitchen/cooking utensils. Only word of caution, is be a morning person as the sun comes shinin

Overall, the house (Atlantic Vu) was great! Our family loved the location and the large living area on the second floor. It is steps away from both the pool and the beach. Also, there are so many restaurants nearby! The staff who clean the house need to check under the beds, though. We found oranges, cereal etc. under the beds. Also, not all the lights were working. The master shower had rusty shower curtain rods. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a few items that need to be taken care of. Thank

House could use some updates but overall was good. Great location Picture does not show outdoor furniture, but there is some - we would not have taken ours along if we had known. also old TV's were shown so we again took our own, but there were newer TV's there. Updated photos would be appreciated to future renters

Great Stay!
Very clean and inviting space. Quick walk across to the beach and easy accessibility to the pool. Only recommendations I have is to finish upgrading the tvs in the bedrooms, a normal size broom because sand on the floor is my pet peeve and the broom provided was teeny tiny! Other wise seems like the mattresses were being replaced and everyone slept great.

Had a wonderful vacation, house layout is really nice for families. View of ocean and pool. Decor and furnishings are adequate/. Kitchen well stocked with all appliances, glassware and dishes. Housekeeping could have been MUCH better... found shoes under a dresser, dog food kibble under the furniture and the ceiling fans were filthy. Dog hair in the beds on mattress protectors. We are a dog friendly family but thats not okay. Still had a great stay!

Very nice view of the ocean
Was a very nice house. Its a little dated could use some new things. The view is amazing watch the ocean while you eat. Air conditioning could use a tune up the bedrooms got very stuffy at night. All in all good trip would stay there again

You can see the ocean from the dining room table, the living room, inside sitting area and the front porch. I loved it there!
