We loved staying here. Great location and very well equipped

We had a family stay with three couples and two dogs. The house was conveniently located, completely equipped, and very comfortable. The indoor common areas were small, but the majority of time was spent out of doors. The third floor decks were marvelous morning and evening. The house was fine for our group, but might be small for more than we presented. A suggestion might be to add a partition to close off the first floor bedrooms to add privacy for those rooms.

First floor did not seem to be as well cooled as the upper floor.

Spent all mornings at the beach, access about five houses down and one block over. Ate and drank at many Kitty Hawk locations -all good- tried to stay local.

Great location for a beach vacation. Well equipped kitchen, new fridge was nice (quick ice maker) furniture could use an update but still ok. Outdoor shower water pressure leaves a little to be desired. No deal breakers though. In fact reserved for 2024.

After 25 years of vacations twice a year at OBX, this was our last trip due to age and distance. That being said, Kitty Hawk Junction was one of the best homes we stayed in. There was only one thing I would have liked to have, a roof over the lower deck when it rained because the deck above is not solid, but everything else is above and beyond what you would expect. There were extras in the kitchen you usually have to buy, like coffee filters and dish detergents. Absolutely wonderful vacation cannot thank you enough for opening your home to all of us.

Overall very nice property, furniture could be upgraded, kitchen well equipped. Pet friendly was much appreciated, the landscaping needs so love as do the deck boards. Location was excellent.

Since the beach and our family reunion was the focus, I’d say the house was quite adequate. We were all able to reside side by side...3 houses. The house was clean and all requested items accounted for. Thank you, Birgit

We were so pleased with Kitty Hawk Junction. Our go-to cottage was booked up early so we had to find something different this year and Kitty Hawk Junction did not disappoint. Excellent location, great beach access and lots of room for our family of 5. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Outdoor shower was amazing. Beach access was super close, although very steep walking up and down daily. Beach chairs, umbrellas and an awesome beach cart are provided. All appliances work great and the fridge is huge. King master is humongous. King bath is large - only one sink - but lots of counter space. Upstairs queen bedroom is also huge - attached bath is small with walk-in shower only. Queen bedroom downstairs, along with bunk room, are small with not a lot of storage. Downstairs bathroom is not huge but works. The living space is much larger than it looks online with plenty of seating. New floors downstairs were a nice surprise. Decks and all hammocks are amazing! We will definitely stay here again!

This was our third visit to this cottage it was neat and clean, close to the beach. The king size bed was very comfortable.

The stairs were a bit difficult to navigate for us. The beach access was convenient.

We enjoyed our stay in Kitty Hawk Junction and even the weather was better than expected, only one rainy day. The upstairs master bedroom is huge, the queen large, the midlevel bedrooms normal size. Harris Teeter, Food Lion and Walmart Supercenter are close as well as many places to eat. We enjoyed spending time on the deck with the hammock swings and listening to the sound of the waves. We were between ages 6 and 74 years and all had a good time. The dog maybe not so much as there were cactus all over the place outside. Walking the dog turned out to be a challenge, not just with the cactus but with the traffic on Hwy 12 and no sidewalks. I would recommend renting this house without a dog. The house worked very well for us and the location is great. The access to the beach is just across the street and a couple of houses down. If you are planning to go ghost crabbing, bring a flashlight, works a lot better than the light on your phone. The kids loved that!

Lovely older home. Well stocked and comfortable. Decor was nice and appreciated the vintage pictures/posters but there a few to many nicnaks for our taste. The first floor is tight on space and we had to move a few small things around to be able to flow more easily for everyone. Water pressure was great and loved all the decks with swings and rockers. Hwy 12 was busier than expected so letting the kids ride bikes was not an option. But loved being a short walk away from beach.

Our rental was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. It was beautifully decorated. The ocean view was excellent. This property sit directly across the street from the beach and beach access was very close. We will definitely stay here again

The house was very clean when we arrived and worked very well for my two adult daughters and me. We especially loved the outside porches and used all of them throughout the week. The kitchen was well appointed and we three girls LOVED having three bathrooms. I, personally, love the outside shower. The location was very convenient to shopping and to the beach.

Our family really enjoyed our time at Kitty Hawk Junction. Yes, your not "oceanfront" but really, you're so close it feels like you are. It was such and easy walk to the beach and we loved hearing the ocean from our decks. The house was all we needed. It is weathered on the outside and not a brand new design on the inside, but it's so cozy and comfy. We loved the swings on the first deck and enjoyed the top deck for great ocean views. We would definitely like to book this house again.

We had a beautiful week in the Outer Banks! Weather was perfect, access to the beach was acceptable and all of our favorite restaurants served up to our expectations. Beach Realty remains the BEST realty company we have ever dealt with in our 30 years of vacations at the Outer Banks! Thank you for another great vacation at the beach.

Sunday to Sunday to Sunday rental but hurricane Hermine chased us out. Sadly we left of Friday after 5 beautiful days. We wanted to be cautious. The offices kept contact with rentals by email even though they had no power or phones.
We love this rental. We rent it every year.

this was our 5th year for the same week. We love this cottage it fits our family so well. It's always very clean and the staff at the office is so friendly. Can't wait to come back next year...

We enjoyed our stay at Kitty Hawk Junction, great location, excellent view of the ocean. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The master suite facing the ocean is huge. The staff at the Kitty Hawk office was very helpful and friendly throughout the process of us renting this vacation cottage.

The house worked just fine for our family. The beds weren't the most comfortable, but we made it work. The biggest opportunity was with the yard. It didn't work for our dog at all! With all of the cactus and stickers, we had to take him elsewhere, which was not convenient at all. Overall, I would recommend staying here, but not if you are bringing a dog with you.

This was a wonderful beach house with the exception of the small kitchen. In the photos the kitchen and the family appeared much larger than they really are. With that exception the house was great. Two beautiful master bedrooms upstairs with gerat decks on the first and second levels. We did have difficulty finding the washing machine and dryer because they were conviently housed below the deck in a separate room.

It was very nice. I did have a pet and my only criticism would be that the yard is not kept so there are a ton of sand spurs around that played havoc with my pet, but we were able to overcome by walking the dog elsewhere. The interior of the house itself was very nice and comfortable. My family had a great time being together. A lot of good memerories came out of the visit.

A cozy and relaxing home away from home just steps from the beach! Every kitchen utensil you need was there. Beds were very comfortable. So nice to have a collection of books and movies to use for entertainment. Having a washer/dryer was super. Our family of 8 adults enjoyed every minute of our stay. Easy access to our side trios to lighthouses, hummer safari in Corolla where we saw over 20 wild horses, and a neat parasailing experience in Manteo after touring the NC Aquarium. We would return to Kitty Hawk Junction without hesitation.

This is the third time we have stayed in this rental. Great porch swings, great location, huge MBRs and the place was very clean.

This property is in an excellent location with great ocean views. We spent a lot of time on the porch swing hammocks, enjoyed reading books,playing corn-hole and basketball. The beach access is very convenient for my family and dog.The kitchen is extremely well stocked. The two upstairs bedrooms are large and the mattresses are very comfortable. I have been coming to the OBX for the last 7 years and this is my first time renting from Beach Realty. I would definitely recommend this property and cannot wait to return next year.
