This is our third year staying two weeks at Windhaven. We wish it was one block closer to the ocean, but now that we purchased a beach wagon for our gear it is much more pleasant! We like the pool placement as it gets lots of sun and the underneath dry deck are is great for our own bikes and paddle boards. The furnishings are nice but it’s time to clean the rugs upstairs. A very nice choice for those who love the beach and their dogs!

Perfect beach house in Corolla!
My family and I loved our stay at Windhaven! The house was very clean and comfortable. We especially loved the outdoor pool area and proximity to the beach! We will definitely be coming back to Windhaven in the future!

Great layout!
We had a marvelous time at Windhaven. My girlfriend and I brought our kids to celebrate their graduation. Each night we made meals together, lounged by the pool, and by day we went to the beach which is a short walk away. There were plenty of spaces for the kids to hang out, for us to sit and quietly chat, and for both of our families to be together.

We had the best time at this house and will most likely rent again in the future! Close walk to beach with public parking lot across from access, we spent most of our time outside by the pool, the bar is such an awesome addition! Absolutely would recommend this house 10/10

This house is a little older so could use some decor updates but other than that was very clean upon arrival and had everything you would need to make your vacation enjoyable

The house was beautiful and exactly as described. Everyone had a great time. A couple negatives. Bed linens were missing in one of the bedrooms. Only 2 dish towels are provided which is not enough. Can’t you put garbage bags in the kitchen garbage cans? Arriving and trying to unpack, its really inconvenient not having one there. Dont hide the salt and pepper shaker. A couple soap dishes in the bathrooms would be nice too.
These were minor issues i know.... We all loved the pool and hot tub too. Overall a wonderful vacation home for everyone.

The house was small compared to other rentals I have used. The home condition was adequate with a few small exceptions. Kitchen was well equipped for our small group. Bedrooms and bathrooms did the job. Pool service people were somewhat rude to one of our guests. Overall I would recommend this house.

Great beach house
We enjoyed this house. It was conveniently located about a five minute walk to the beach and if you don’t want to walk or have too much beach stuff, there’s a parking lot very close to the beach. The house had a pool, hot tub and tiki bar. We used it every day either before the beach or after the beach.We had several cooks in our house and we found that the kitchen worked great for us. There were 9 of us a d we had plenty of space to spread out if we wanted to. If we go to the Outer Banks again next year we would definitely like to rent the house again.

We decided to spend a week in the OBX because our kids are doing virtual learning and we needed a change of scenery. The house was in a great location and we loved that the beach was a short walk and there was a lifeguard seated right at the beach access area. We had a couple of minor issues with the house and they were handled swiftly and to our satisfaction. The restaurants in the area were outstanding!

This property has all the amenities you would be looking for, both inside and out. The home is well kept and served us well. We traveled with two couples and two babies which was certainly challenging for extensive beach time, but the house was great for relaxing and hanging out when the beach was not working out. Check in and out was very smooth and we would definitely recommend Windhaven to anyone that thinks it may fit their needs.

This house was the best we have stayed in yet, and we visit OBX several times every year.
It was spotless and included everything needed for a much needed vacation. Usually rental homes have horrible kitchen pots and pans, but not this house. Everything was in good condition. The only thing they could add would be a huge pot for cooking crabs and lobster.

Wonderful Week at Windhaven
Windhaven is a gem of a home in Corolla, North Carolina. It was our first time coming to the Outer Banks and we will definitely be back. The home was spotless when we arrived and was the perfect size for the amount of guests we had. We loved hanging out at the pool/hot tub/tiki bar area and even skipped the beach some days to stay there. The distance from the beach is nothing and there's a public parking/access right up the street. We loved staying in Corolla as we felt away from it all while still having things like grocery stores, restaurants, ice cream shops, mini golf and other activities close by. If we could make one recommendation to the Windhaven property it would be to cut the grass as it was not cut before we arrived nor during the week we were there. We loved our trip and we would recommend this property to a friend!

We stayed at Windhaven in mid June and had a great time. The house has everything you need for a weeks stay at the beach. Great pool area and plenty of room. The home is pet friendly but you would never notice. Very clean and well maintained.

We loved this house. The tiki bar by the pool was amazing! There was a fridge and sink in the tiki bar. The pool and hot tub were great too. The house had everything we need for the week. It was also close to shopping and the grocery store. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was beautiful and very clean. The only thing was the backyard was not mowed. The grass was very high (at least a foot) and full of stickers. We brought our dog so that was a bit of a problem but at least the front yard was okay. Otherwise, no complaints. Pool and hot tub were wonderful. Would definitely rent again.

Windhaven Summer Fun
We had a wonderful time. Nice home, all the amenities, short walk to the beach, nice pool, hot tub, and sweet outdoor bar. What more could one ask for? Well, maybe better weather��

Anniversary trip
We have stayed at this rental in the past and knew what amenities were at the house, pool, hot tub, and tiki bar. Imagine our surprise when we found that the kitchen had new appliances(stove, microwave, and refrigerator). The owner has the property enrolled in several nice additions(golf course discount, horse tour discount, and fresh free bagels) that we have always enjoyed. The rental was ready and clean on time for us to check in. The keyless entry is much easier than worrying about "who has the key?". A very nice vacation.

Awesome Location and SPACE
We stayed at Windhaven for a week and loved the pool, open air porches and convenient location (minutes drive to Harris Teeter, Duck Donuts, restaurants; 5 minute walk to the public beach). Lots of room in the house to accommodate a family, cooking, reading, TV, etc. Thank you!!

Great Place to Stay
We have stayed in the Outer Banks numerous times over the years. There has always been something wrong until this year. We arrived at the home and it was clean, all amenities available, and in perfect location to the beach and shops. The rental staff was quick and courteous. They even called us during our stay to check up on us. We will definitely be using them again.

Wonderful vacation!
Windhaven is a fantastic rental for families looking to relax and enjoy Corolla! Property description was accurate and the home was well maintained and clean. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the private pool and hot tub and adults enjoyed the tiki bar! Beach access is ~400 yds but the walk is enjoyable and there is free parking as well. Nice flat streets for riding bikes as well. Would definitely rent again!

Windhaven 7/12/2015
Very nice home, well equipped. Great views, tucked in by trees and shrubs with plenty of privacy. Tiki Bar and pool area with hot tub a relaxing place to gather for all. We would rent this house again.

Windhaven vacation
The house was clean & well kept when we arrived.
The only problem we had was the back door. It was broken the entire time & I reported it to Peggy, who told me she put in a work order. No one ever showed up to repair the lock. The other small problem was drainage from tubs & sinks.
Other than that we were very pleased.

Family Vacation
The house worked great for our family. Proximity to the beach and shops was a short distance and made it very easy to enjoy the beach, as well as shop for groceries.
One suggestion, have at least one roll of toilet paper in the house when guests arrive. We had driven from Michigan and after a long drive, expected to be able to use the bathrooms. Unfortunately, we had to make a quick trip to the store to purchase toilet paper. If I had been informed of this when booking our reservation, I would have brought some with me.
