Great house!
My family (son, daughter, their spouses, and two teenage girls, and the dog) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lazy Dog. The kitchen is very well equipped , there's plenty of seating for a large group, and space to spread out. Access to the beach is only a short walk away, and the beach itself is great with a gradual drop before reaching a large sandbar -- perfect for wave riding. The lot is much bigger than average, providing play space for the dog. And the pool is beautiful. All in all, a great stay.

Fun June week.
A fun week at Lazy Dog. Enjoyed the house, pool and hot tub. Quick walk to the surf. House could use some deck furniture and more pool seating. Kitchen fridge could be updated for a larger model. Otherwise a great stay.

Fun in the sun
The house was perfect for us. It wasn’t to far from the beach and had everything we needed. The pool was a nice temperature the entire time we were there. The only problem was the dryer didn’t work, I’m sure they would of fixed it but by the time we realized it was to late in the week. I would definitely stay again.

HOT! HOT! HOT!
We had a lovely vacation with our family in spite of the brutal heat. The pool was great. The unit could use some additional items such as a table with an umbrella by the pool, additional items in the kitchen such as a cutting board and better knives. When we arrived 4 of the table lamps had no bulbs. There were no bulbs in the unit so we had to go out and purchase bulbs for the lamps. We reported a leak in the kitchen sink which did not get repaired. We also reported a problem with the front door which was not locking properly.

Nauti Gulls in early October
We enjoyed our stay at Nauti Gulls. Early October is a great time to visit the area and the house had everything that we needed. We went with the heated pool option, and I am glad that we did. It wasn't too cool out but there were a couple of days that the kids needed to burn off some energy and the water temp was warmer than the air temp. There were plenty of sleeping options and the beach is not far at all. Plenty of cutlery and everything else you need to cook and eat meals.

40th Anniversary/Birthday/Wedding Celebration
This home was great for our family! All loved the open upper level and deck. Everyone had their own bathroom. Grandchildren loved the pool, heating was a plus. The beach walkway was perfect for our strollers. We definitely would rent again. Loved the peace and quiet on the beach❣️

Longtime Friends Beach Week 7/18/2020-7/25/2020
Our beach week was great. We met up with longtime friends for some fun at the beach. All was great with the exception of a few minor things. The refridgerator/freezer could not keep up. The fridge was barely cold and the freezer definitely didn't freeze. All appliances could use an upgrade. The stove was a challenge to cook on. The burners were not flat. The dishwasher was interesting. When opening the door I thought it was going to fall off. The racks don't slide out very well to load the dishes. The house served its purpose but could definitely use a good "spring" cleaning. I would highly recommend putting blinds in the family room window off the kitchen to keep the hot sun out. The thermostat couldn't keep up. The upper level was very hot during the day but cooled down some at night. The outside of the house has some rotten wood visible. Pool and hot tub were very nice after a long day on the beach. Loved the keyless entry. It made it easy for everyone to come and go as they pleased.

Overall we had a great time. Spent most of the time on the beach which was an easy walk and coming home to jump in the pool afterwards was fantastic. We would come back to this property. There were some minor maintenance issues; I think the dish washer needs to be replaced, but nothing that was a major draw back

Fantastic Week!!
We has a terrific week in OBX! The house was perfect for our family of nine adults but there would have been room for more. The surrounding area was perfect for walking and riding bike. The house was found exactly as listed with an open floor plan in the main living area. It was clean and ready for our arrival. We did struggle to piece some items together for meal prep but there was enough to make due. The highlight was definitely the pool and the hot tub. The management company was easy to work with and very thorough in their communications. We would definitely return to this property and recommend it to our friends!

A week in paradise!
The house was perfect for our group! It was clean and the house was built to make us feel like each family had their own space. The building and furniture was a tad dated but nothing that would stop us from renting again. We did have an issue with the stove and pool heat but everything was handled. Overall wonderful vacation in a enjoyable house.

Had a party of 8 Fifty somethings traveling in for a wedding. Was happy to find this place renting for 3 nights. Comfortable stay. Wife and I stayed in the master upstairs. Very comfortable bed. The place is a bit dated and in need of some upgrades (i.e. refrigerator). Vball court is too small for an actual game (perhaps intended for children). Description states 3 Kings, but could not find the 3rd. Could use a thorough cleaning. All-in-all, pleased with our stay. Would recommend.

Overall a wonderful home
3 flights of stairs to climb was a killer by midweek for most of our adult party. No dustpan available on premesis.. other than that, our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. We ventured to the beach several times and kids enjoyed the hot tub and pool towards the end of the stay.

NJ Family Trip to OBX
We enjoyed our stay at the Nauti Gulls House. We received a cheesecake from the owner the third night we were there, which was a nice treat. We encountered minor issues while there - one of the tubs was clogged and would not drain but we called maintenance and they addressed the issue. Another issue was that the gate to the back was broken and would not close, but it was also addressed fairly quickly. On our fourth day, the propane tank was empty and I called to ask for a new one - I was told 24 hours but unfortunately I had to call again because it took almost 48 hours to get a new one.

Nauti Gulls Review
We loved our stay in Outerbanks as we always do, have been coming for the last 20 years!
We loved the house and their upgrades this year! The only disappointment was the volleyball court. It was not usable as it was a mess, thorns etc. It needs to be cleaned up and have sand added. Maybe even add a cornhole setup behind it or by the driveway. We loved the pool, the room setup was great! Overall we LOVED it!!

Relaxation
The new owners of the property have made quite a few additons and improvments. The kitchen still needs a little help. I wish there had been a good set of pots and pans and a place for dry food storage.
When we arrived the carpets had stains in the hallways and throughout. I called the realty company and they offered to send someone out to clean them but after driving 10 hours, we just wanted to relax. We had a few other cleaning issues in the kitchen and bathroom (3rd floor) but took care of them ourselves.
Our daughter's debit card was compromised and the realty office was super helpful and let us print off some forms for her to sign and faxed them to the credit union for us. Beach Realty, Thank you so much for doing that for us!!
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Nauti Gulls. We loved that it was only a short walk to the beach and the pool was great!!
P.S. We love cheesecake but never received the call to have one delivered to us like the previous renters did. Oh well, maybe next time.

Awesome value home with everything we wanted
I came down to the Outer Banks for the first time with several close family and friends, and we wanted a home that was close to the beach and offered good amenities at a good price, and this was perfect for that. You won't have a pool or an outdoor jacuzzi, but you're a 4 minute walk to the beach, have a ton of space and natural light, every kitchen appliance you'd need, etc. etc. Rental process was very easy and didn't have any issues while at the home. Only minor blip was that they keys were not in the outdoor drop box at the rental company when we arrived at 5 in the morning, but they sent someone over immediately to give them to us. If you want to have a great vacation and not spend a fortune, this house is perfect for you.
