Perfect for a large group
This was our first time in the Outerbanks. My parents are both dying and have mobility issues. We booked this house for our last family vacation because of the elevator. It is small, but it did the job. We weren't able to get them to the beach via the deck/stairs. We had to go to the public beach access, but that's fine because it's only a few houses down. The house was huge! The views were great and centrally located to everything you may want do in the Outerbanks. The only issue was when we asked for an extended check out time, the door code reset and we had to climb through one of the windows to get inside to collect our belongings. I wish we could have stayed was nice to pretend like things were normal for a while.

Wheelchair dependent, so an elevator was a must. Would have helped to have grab bars on the wall by at least one toilet and a wheel in shower to make this house handicap accessible. (Ground floor shower has grab bars, but shower is too small to transfer into from a wheelchair.)
Would highly recommend taking out one of the jacuzzi tubs and make a large roll in shower with handheld sprayer.

Wonderful Beach House
Everyone at Beach Realty is helpful and patient with all my questions. It would be nice to have a small table with chairs in the living room. It used to have one and we played many games on it. Our family loves to play games in the evenings.

Fly boys rental
Great however the furniture needs to be updated and the house needs to be cleaned better. The hot tub needs to go outside so that the sunroom can be used. It smells like a hotel pool and the odor is too strong to stay in the room. All the furniture is outdated and in somewhat poor condition but the location is great. You need to add a hose downstairs for cleaning off chairs and feet. There needs to be a better way to clean your feet off when coming off the beach.

Two families meet up after ten years

K0011 Fly Boys Oceanfront with a Gorgeous view of the ocean
From booking, to staying and checking out, was easy and convenient. This was our first ever beach stay and it was better than we ever expected. Waking up to the sunrise, the sound of waves crashing on shore and the wildlife we encounter was truly amazing. The house was beautiful and very clean and every staff person I spoke to or texted was very kind and went above and beyond. I highly recommend Beach Realty!

Lovely holiday
We met at this house for a large family gathering for the holiday week. The house was perfectly located and the beach access was ideal. We had plenty of space and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils, pots and bowls. The management company was very easy to work with and we would work with them again.

Late summer break
We are a family of 4 and stayed at the Fly Boys for a last summer vaca before school starts. The house was fantastic, perfect location. Kids were able to go to the beach anytime they wanted. We had some very minor issues but the service team was super prompt and friendly. Unfortunately we had a tropical storm come in for a couple of days but we were able to keep ourselves entertained and cooked a lot of great food. Overall perfect for a week long break.

Fly Boys Beach Adventures
It was a wonderful week with most of my immediate family. The weather was great and we enjoyed the beach front. We treated ourselves to the comforts, lots of beach time, sunrises, training runs and bike rides, Jockey's Ridge, kayaking in the ocean, visit to Wright Memorial and Snow Bird ice cream. I was a week full of some awesome memories!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Fly Boys, there is plenty of space & great location! A few downsides, you can hear a lot of traffic noise, it needs to be updated, although it was clean & well equipped kitchen. There are few en-suites, creating multi people using one bathroom, especially on the main floor.

Family Vacation 2022
The whole family agreed this was the best vacation since we started coming to OBX 5 years ago. The house was perfect plenty of room inside and it was clean. Location was great for shopping and dining out. Our favorite was the view from the rocking chairs. It was gorgeous. Will definitely be staying there again in the future.

July Beach Week at Fly Boys
Our family week at the beach was a great experience. The house fully met our needs. We loved being near Jockey's Ridge dune. Watching the sunrises from the deck is a plus. The beds were the best of any beach house we have stayed in. The elevator helped when we arrived and when we left loading and unloading.

GReat birthday weekend
We had a wonderful time at Fly Boys for a long weekend with family and friends. The house had plenty of room for all. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I have seen in all of my years of renting beach houses. We had a few minor maintenance issues, which were taken care of very quickly. The property was clean and the location was fantastic. Great sunrises and sunsets from both sides of the house. Would definitely stay here again.

OBX-Fly Boys House - Spectacular

Rainy week at Fly Boys
Our family enjoyed an unusually rainy week at Fly Boys. The views and proximity to the beach were a highlight. The kitchen offered plenty of cooking space and area for the family to gather. The family room was well used to watch the Olympics each evening. The hot tub was a definite plus. And we loved the amount of King size beds the house offered.

Wonderful family vacation. The house was very accommodating for our family. Great location with easy beach access. TV in den/kitchen was not hooked up for local channels but were in bedrooms. Kids enjoyed the Rec Room & Hot Tub!

Location, location, location!
Fly Boys was the perfect house for our family vacation. The location could not be beat! Waking directly onto the beach was easy and convenient. There are several restaurants and bars close by, even a fresh seafood market across the street.

All was good except the tv etc. It is updated as necessary but the TV changes and no instructions explain witch control does what. Overall the house is great and after 15 years we feel at home. House keeping was very good.

Perfect family getaway!
Fly Boys was exactly as expected! The home was spotless on arrival and all the furnishings comfortable. But the best was the location, so close to the ocean the sound of the waves lulled is to sleep at night! We had a concern with the gas grill upon our arrival but it was addressed within a few hours! We had a attune!
