2nd Great Stay!
This was our family's 2nd stay at Duck Redux and we had another great week! The location is perfect, especially since our week was full of rain and we did more shopping than visiting the beach. Also enjoyed the full puzzle collection. Thank you for another wonderful vacation.

Perfect Duck vacay at Duck Redux!
This dog friendly house was perfect for our family. It’s conveniently located halfway from the beach and town. The kids rode bikes to Duck Donuts daily ! The combination of outdoor deck and screened in porch with eating area was great ! Everyone in party loved this house !

Perfect OBX stay!
This beach house was just as described and reviewed. It was so clean, perfect location and dog friendly! The ramp was so helpful to our big dog who is scared of stairs. The design of the home with bedrooms on either side of the kitchen is perfect. The house is centrally located between the beach and the amazing stores on Duck Rd. We biked, walked and kayaked. Evening walks along the Sound were beautiful. Beach area was small but if you get your umbrellas and chairs there early, it’s fine. The water was calm, cool and so relaxing. We really loved this house!!! Thank you for a memorable week!

Nothing like a Duck Vacation
This was a new place to stay for our family (6 adults & 1 pandemic puppy) in our beloved Duck NC--the house was perfectly situated for our easy strolls to see the sunrise over the ocean and our sunsets over the sound. We absolutely love the beautiful landscaping and extensive boardwalk maintained by the city. Whether you eat out or cook at home you can simply walk to buy the best seafood (Dockside), great produce (two farm stands), fantastic ice cream (several), great pastries (Tullio's). It was wonderful!

Great week in Duck
The location is perfect, short walk to the beach, quick walk to the boardwalk and shops in Duck. It was our puppy's first beach trip and she loved it and it was a great getaway for all of us.

OBX Ducky Days
Fabulous location. Wonderfully relaxing week. Overall we were very satisfied with the property. We were dismayed that the WiFi connection was not secured.

Duck Redux June 6
This home is the perfect place for a small group. Easy walk to both the beach and the town of Duck. Amenities are few, but the place is very clean and has all the essentials. The front deck was the perfect place to star gaze. We were surprised how crowded the beach in Duck was. We found getting a pass for the drive on beach was better during this Covid Time. I would definitely rent this house again. Its one of the most affordable. The bedrooms were a little hot at night, so you might want to bring a fan!

We went down for a week with our entire family including our 4 legs member. We have a blast. The place was convenient (short walk to the beach and close to restaurants, rentals and mini supermarket.) Internet access is available and the house is neat and clean. It is worth the money

Cozy Place
We loved our stay @ Duck Redux. It was great for our dogs except for the prickly pear cactus and sand spur grass. The beach equip. & cart were wonderful and provided all that was needed for a fun day @ the beach. House was within walking distance to great shopping and the boardwalk. My son had a bad encounter with wasps under the deck. We destroyed one nest but found others as we were packing to leave. Overall, a wonderful place to vacation.

Great Value!
We've stayed at this house twice. We love the location. Our 6&7 year-olds can easily walk or ride bikes to the beach and the shops. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nicely separated for 2 small families. The kitchen has everything. Lots of sand toys, paddle ball, chairs, umbrellas, & boogie boards, games, & puzzles - don't bother bringing them. The beach cart is wearing out, but you can make it work. We had a small maintenance issue that was addressed quickly & professionally. Some of the furnishings and decor are starting to age, but everything is very clean. The washer/dryer are new & huge. For the price, this house is awesome, works perfectly for our famiy, and we would rent it again!

The house was a nice house. A good space for a family or two (at max). Some nice updates have been done(new tv, nice blu ray/dvd collection, very nice new washer, nice kitchen floors). I liked the sitting area with the two gliding rocking chairs. The queen beds were very hard to us and not comfortable. Some people may like that hard of a mattress, me not so much! The denim couch & the carpets should be replaced soon, in my opinion. They just look worn out, not dirty or anything, just worn out. I love the screened in porch! Really like that there is a ceiling fans in the rooms. The storage room was stocked full of useful things! Beach cart (needs replaced too but usable), lots of beach toys, boogie boards, umbrellas, canopies, two adult bikes and several other things. The location was good too, not too far of walk, maybe 5 min to the beach. At the end of the road there is a cool little shopping plaza called Scarborough Faire, very cute! And it has a Kids Fest every Wednesday! Would have loved to have a pool and a basketball hoop for some down time entertainment for kids. The landscaping could be improved, very rough. My small dog could not walk around it for long without hurting her feet, let alone my two small kids. Shoes are a must! All and all a nice home!
