Dawn Kuhn

Dawn Kuhn moved from Northern Virginia to the Southern Shores community on the Outer Banks in 2005. She and her family enjoyed the Outer Banks for over 25 years as renters, then property owners and now as permanent residents.
Her experience at the federal housing level in HUD inspired her decision to pursue a career in real estate. Her work with local affordable housing programs provided her with a broad range of housing experiences, exchanging ideas with local lenders, community groups and government representatives. As the business development manager, she worked on ways to improve customer service making significant improvements to the public web site, holding national homeownership fairs and developing media products to better inform the public. Currently, she holds real estate licenses in Virginia and North Carolina and enjoys working along the coastal areas.
