Jimbo WardPresidentUncrowded beaches and plenty of surf were the forces that initially attracted Jimbo Ward to the Outer Banks. Although his passion for surfing remains strong, the demands of owning one of the largest full-service real estate companies on the beach leave Jimbo little time to pursue that perfect rolling left. One merger, three divisions, four offices, one wife, and three children later, Jimbo still finds time to nurture his spiritual and ecological interests as well as his role in the community as a philanthropist and cultural arts leader. And surfing? Everyone knows where to find Jimbo and his two grown sons during an ocean swell on a gorgeous Outer Banks day, just cruise the beach accesses from Kitty Hawk to Nags Head. It’s all about balance.
